Wir sind sehr sehr gut behandelt worden. Sie sorgten sich gleich ab der ersten Minute um uns. Und auch als wir Probleme mit unserem Gepäck hatten, war sofort Hilfe von ihnen da. Das Zimmer war sauber und im sehr gutem Zustand. Also wenn noch mal ein Zwischenstopp ansteht dann da! Vielen Dank für diese schöne Übernachtung.

Das Hotel empfiehlt sich durch seine Nähe zum Flughafen. Der International Terminal ist wenige Autominuten entfernt. Der Transfer mit dem hoteleigenen Shuttle kostet 6 AUD pro Person und Fahrt, ein Taxi ca. 20 AUD pro Fahrt. Eine Zuganbindung (in die City 3,20 AUD) besteht in der 500m entfernten Haltestelle Mascot. Das Zugticket zum International Terminal […] kostet aufgrund des Airportzuschlages 15 AUD und ist meiner Ansicht nach daher keine Anreisealternative. Die Rezeption ist 24h besetzt, ein nächtliches Ein- und Auschecken problemlos. Die Zimmer und die eingebaute "Badezimmereinheit" (Zugang mit Stufe) empfand ich als klein, zweckmäßig und sauber, das Bett als sehr bequem. Das Fenster ließ sich kippen, dann war allerdings der Umgebungslärm der Lage entsprechend. Auf jeder Etage befinden sich Automaten für kalte, alkoholfreie Getränke und für Snacks. Der Aufenthalt im Restaurant war im meinem Fall mit längeren Wartezeiten verbunden, das Essen nach Abzügen in Temperatur noch okay. Ich habe aber in Restaurants gleicher Preisklasse auch schon deutlich besser gegessen. Zusammenfassend kann ich das Hotel für einen Zwischenstopp vor oder nach Flug empfehlen. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt würde ich mir ein komfortableres Hotel in einem touristisch ansprechenderem Teils Sydneys suchen. Mehr

The hotel is perfect for Sydney Airport. Lovely included breakfast but evening meals are expensive with not a great choice and very little on the plate. If looking for an evening meal best to go to Holiday Inn along the road. Better choice and better value for money.

The hotel was clean as was my room and bathroom. The room was small, but totally fine for an overnight between flights. The breakfast was substantial with a choice of continental or buffet. I chose the buffet and there was plenty of food to chose from. The front desk service was helpful. I had a pleasant stay, everything was fine. I had two rooms only downside was that we wasn't a joint room. Other then that, friendly staff and overall was great.

We could not fault the hotel, except the service at breakfast. When we came down for breakfast, my wife asked what breakfast was available for us and our 4 yr old daughter. She was told, very curtly, $22 each. I checked at the reception desk, and the woman there told us we had different options including toast and coffee at $10.50, or continental at […] $17 (I think). Good location. Walking distance from train station. Airport shuttle available.although be aware that morning shuttles can be delayed due to traffic to and for airport. Room adequate for overnight stay.

Excellent. Professional and polite staff, great restaurant, shuttle bus to airport a wonderful convenience. (mobile phone reception in my room did not work, but this did work in restaurant area, for phone calls)

Convenient to airport but expensive for what it is. We had a room that appeared to have been wheelchair accesible and remodeled to be for the able bodied. Seemed like a waste. Not an inexpensive hotel and not great value for money. The much ballyhooed beds were double - not queen sized. I am skinny but 6 foot plus and the bed, while comfortable, was […] too short for me. The Hotel and our rooms were VERY CLEAN, the quality of the service by the front dest was top notch. The Hotel was located close to the airport so we chose it as we were at the end of a 12 day cruise and needed to rest before making the trip to the Central USA.

Compared to the hotels I have stayed at, my first time stay at the Ibis was very impressive, impeccable service and FREE internet wow, the Crowne Plazas and the Star city Hotel were too mean to offer that . Will definately stay at the Ibis the next time

Would prefer menus and other information in writing. very fiddly to have to navigate tv for information especially when very tired. Girls at front desk very friendly and helpful. More signage would be appreciated for use of downstairs food bar.

people at reception were very helpful. The room was very small-about same size as cabin on cruise ship, but adequate for 2 night stay. Did not eat at restaurant because it was very expensive. It is definitely an economy hotel.

Room was OK as we were staying over due to collecting family arriving at the airport early in the morning. Granted, we booked a budget room. Room was fairly compact (Double bed and a single) which could have been awkward if we had large suitcases and hand luggage with us for an international flight. Did not try the restaurant but it looked good and […] there was a nice smell from the food. Vending machine in the hallway had one of the cheapest bottles of soft drink (Coke, Fanta, Water) I've seen in Sydney at $2.60 for a 600ml bottle. You'd expect to get ripped off, but no. Parking was easy on-site and not the dearest at $14 per night. Would use again. Mehr

The Ibis was surprisingly good value for money. They could use a little more staff on the front desk and another elevator, but the room was immaculate and had all the necessities.

Enjoyed the stay. Had everything I wanted. Didn't like having to pay $6.00 for the shuttle. They're close enough to the airport they should have a free shuttle. Internet was pricey, but that seems to by typical for Australia.

The location is very convenient, and the shuttle to the airport works well and is decently priced, but the internet access in the room was the most ridiculously expensive i've ever seen : $12.50 for 2 hours with a 200MB limit. so if you're on travel for work and need a few hours of internet access or if you just want to relax by watching some movie […] on your computer ... not the best place. Was very convenient location to put my head down between regional flight one day and international flight the next. Very reasonable hotel rate. Close proximity to Airport /Sydney train line with quick and dirt cheep travel to downtown Sydney ($4.80 for return trip instead of $60 one way cab!). While I understand that they have to limit use to 15 minutes because of the demand, and that space is at a premium, they still should consider improving this by having more stations. Suited our needs very well. We had a flight into Sydney airport in the evening and an early flight out next day. We had left our luggage in the baggage storage at the airport so only had hand luggage. Hotel was close enough to walk from and to the next morning. We found the room clean, comfortable but a little small. It was a short walk to shops and short taxi ride to the airport the next morning. The shuttle bus does not provide transport for early plane departures. The staff at the desk were friendly and helpful with all our enquires.
