The pros: private beach, hot tub, indoor & outdoor pools, beach chairs, free wifi, "maids" respectful of privacy request. The cons: walls are very thin & you hear everytime someone in another room drops anything, the room doors slam to close (even if you only pull them close they are loud), one of the bedspreads was clearly discolored with some stain, […] the restaurant had very limited hours, no room service, when asked if they had padding available for the hard bed, they said they would check and let me know...they never did; when called to inform them of banging waking me up@630am 2 days in a row, they said they would send someone to look into it and let me know, they never did & the bumping & banging continued (sounded like someone dropping pool balls-loud); they offered to move my room, but I already had everything out of my bag; they have me comp cards for breakfast for the rest of the week (5 days) but I explained I work@night and rarely if ever am awake by 11am which is when they stop serving breakfast; they offered no other compensation and yes the noises continued with the exception of one morning; you have to drive to go anywhere interesting, no elevators or wheelchair access. the location on the beach is awesome you do not need to take your own chairs or umbrella warm water, soft sand nice activities but a little bit expensive

This is a nice family resort out of the hustle and bustle of Cape Cod. Pretty beach right outside your door, comfortable beds, nice service. Only drawback was that the restaurant is only open in the morning for breakfast, and your must battle the Cape Cod traffic to get dinner, or eat unhealthy food at their beachside snack shack. If you have children, […] this is a good place to go. Kids Club was included, used it one day to find out that thet " forgot" my son at the pool. Luckily, he was okay, and the type of people at this resort are upstanding family-oriented people. Otherwise, overall, very good. Mehr

Cozy hotel, but not necessarily a resort. Not that close to the sights of Cape Cod, but overall comfortable & clean rooms.

The hotel was very clean and I would recommend it to anyonr.

Worst hotel I've stayed in during 20+ years of travel. Booked it due to location and direct beachfront access but was very disappointed. Very basic, does not live up to 3 star rating. Rock hard beds, lumpy pillows and stained bed linens. Carpet in the room was so dirty that we would not walk on it with bare feet. Entire place is tired and shabby looking. […] Many of the staff, including manager, were unfriendly, abrupt and very defensive. Checked out after one night. Will never stay in a Red Jacket Resort again! Mehr

great place, beds too soft, towel management system a little complicated; would be nice to have a kettle in the room for tea drinkers. very polite staff, very accomodating when we requested a mattress for floor. Nice to e able to use amenities in sister resorts. Would go back.

they put us in a room right next to the game room even thought we checked i n with no children there was also a soccer playoffs so there were kids running on the balcony so you couldbnt sit in the chairs provided the smoke detectors were hanging from the wires out of the ceiling

Nothing fancy, but is right on the water. A little dated, but was clean and suited us just fine. The walls are a little thin. There was a wedding party when we stayed. We could hear them in the hall and in the room next door, but didn't keep us awake. Nothing special about breakfast. There were pleny of diners in the area. The indoor pool and jacuzzi […] was perfect as it was a bit cold outside. The beach is fabulous! Mehr

This hotel was great. The staff was very friendly, and the location was great, it was nice and quiet, around the hotel while still being a short car ride , or walk away from all the action in Yarmouth. Cant wait to go back and stay here again later in the season.

The hotel is in a perfect location. Right on the beach with many rooms facing the water. We were only there one night and got a parking lot room but that was OK. The room was OK two full size beds that were a little worn out. The cleanliness was an issue in the bathtub where there was a considerable amount of mildew in the tub. Kind of a throwback, and they could use a lot of updates, but the spot is fantastic, and it's a great family facility. With pools, beach, a rare cabana, and convenient to Hyannis and other attractions, we were very pleased with our pick.

Hotel is not as fancy as it looks on the website, especially in pool area, especially for the price, but it's nice enough and we enjoyed our stay. Atmosphere by the pool was fun, kids enjoyed having both indoor & outdoor pool. Food by the pool is good; mostly we ate out for breakfast & dinner - there is enough to do in the surrounding area but you need […] to drive. Beach was nice and they provided chairs. Hotel definitely is in need of updating, which staff mention is going to happen within the next few years. Beds were tolerable; new mattresses are needed and queen size would be much better for families. Hotel staff is friendly and accommodating when possible. I will check back in a few years when we think about vacationing in this area again with the hope that they've rennovated without becoming overly pricey. Mehr

Hotel is in a nice area. Very comfortable. Very safe area. Have a restaurant with buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also have a outside bar by the pool that serves snacks and drinks (including alcohol). Beautiful spot on the beach. They have an outside pool as well as an indoor pool. The only complaint is that when you book it make sure you book one […] of the properties on the ocean (if that's what you're looking for). They have a location on a golf course with a pool, but not near the ocean at all. Not far from any of the surrounding towns. We didn't have children with us, but there was tons for children to do. The pool, ocean, deck chairs and beach chairs and umbrella are all centrally located for you to enjoy the outdoors. This hotel is a resort in that they provide entertainment for all. Very sociable spot. The beds need to be upgraded. You can still get a good night's sleep but in our travels out to Boston and Cape Cod, these beds were notably older. I love going to the blue water resort..The beach is beautiful and they supply chairs, umbrellas and towels..It's 5 min. to mini golf, ice cream, many places to eat and supermarkets..

Everything was clean, all employees helpful and pleasant, comfortable room, on site restaurant and extra activities on weekends-great time.

Right on the water - great location. The VHS recorder is badly outdated - how about buying a digital one? Also, there are no premium cable channels or movies on demand. Bathroom needs an upgrade and rooms are certainly not soundproof. Grounds are well maintianed and the hotel staff is ecxellent.

The staff was very friendly especially our housekeeper, she was very personable. We paid for a "ocean view" room, which we received however the "view" was limited and consisted of a sand dune, the other building and patio. For the price I was hoping for a little more "ocean view". Because we were off season, food was limited to breakfast. Our room comes […] with either a king or two double beds, we did not have a choice of which and got the doubles. The bed was small for two people and the mattress was too hard leaving us both with a backache. Convenience and location is a plus being right on the beach. Mehr

Overall Blue Water is a decent resort style hotel. The location is great, right on their private beach, pool side bar and grill, I especially liked the lounge chairs that overlooked the beach next to the pool, so you could enjoy the ocean front sitting in the sand. But it is a resort hotel, which meant tons of kids in the pool running around, reminded me of Caddy day at the pool in the movie Caddy Shack. I wouldnt advise this place for your honeymoon! Overally the place could use an upgrade, new carpets, pool a little beat up, its just kind of seen its day, especially for the price we paid! You could stay in a four star hotel in Manhattan for the same price! One thing that did bother me was there was no supervisor in the in door pool or hottub! I saw tons of kids in the pool unattended, where were the parents at least and in and out of the hot tub which became full of sand and many un known floating objects! Mehr

Nous avons séjournée au Blue Water Resort du 17 août au 20 août 2011. Comme l'hôtel était évalué à 3 étoiles, nous nous attendions à rien d'extraordinaire. Nous avons été agéablement surpris par le merveilleux site (diretement sur la plage), les fleurs et la beauté des environs. La mer y est chaude (comparativement à la côte Est de Cape Cod) et South […] Yarmouth est vraiment super bien situé (restaurants, mini-put, boutiques, piste cyclables). La chambre était propre et grande. Nous avons un peu moins apprécié la literie (site motel), mais dans l'ensemble la chambre était parfaite! Ce n'est pas du 5 étoiles, mais très confortable. Le personnel est acceuillant et c'est un excellent endroit où on peut relaxer. La piscine face à la mer est merveilleuse. La plage est belle et propre et le personne s'occupe bien de nous. Il y a des chaises et serviettes fournis par l'hotel. Comme l'hotel est directement sur la plage, il est facile de retourner à la chambre pendant la journée. Côté nourriture, nous n'avons pas essayé le restuarant, donc je n'ai pas de commemtaires. Le petit casse-croute au bord de la piscine est à notre avis vraiment trop gras. Il manque de choix santé. Fui en mayo y la verdad que no había mucha gente, a pesar de ello el servicio fue muy bueno y me tocó un cuarto con yacuzzy adentro del cuarto, el cual era muy grande y comodo con vista al mar, muy bueno.

PRAIA PARADISIACA!!! OTIMAS ACOMODACOES!!! HOTEL PÉ NA AREIA!!! EU INDICO E RECOMENDO!!!
