The hotel had some issues in the room overall was ok nothing special!

Spend an extra few dollars and get a good night sleep. Bed was terrible. It squeaked with every move either of us made and was sunken in the center. Our room was next to the road and we could hear cars all night long. When we arrived to check in, at 3:30 p.m. None of the other rooms were ready. We could wait for another room, really? Only stayed here because it was cheap and the location was very convenient. However it was located in a very busy area and is also next to a very busy freeway, so do not stay here if you're a light sleeper!

Making a reservation on line was easy and simple. The comfort of the room was just perfect.

We enjoyed our stay at the Red Roof Inn at Pacific Beach (San Diego). The staff is very nice and so helpful with hints on freeway travel. We enjoyed the breakfast and especially enjoyed having a microwave oven and refrigerator in the room. We will definitely stay there for future medical appointments in the San Diego area. The hotel was nice, and the staff was very friendly.

Good price but not comfortable at all.. If planning not to spend most of the time in the room may be a good option. the room is really tiny and has a weird smell, extremely noisy of course... I won't recommend it!! spend a little bit more!! Or you'll regret it..

Hotel night clerk was not friendly. The room had a smell and I could hear the folks upstairs walking around at all hours.

It was a small, cute, clean hotel. It was good for the purpose of getting away from the visitors crowds in downtown San Diego. There were two 7/11s within the same block, a Mexican restaurant across the street, and a McDonald's within two blocks. Very convenient location to gas station and freeway. It was nice and quiet. The main thing that I didn't […] like though was accessibility. There is only one elevator, which is in the middle of the inn. If your rooms are on the second floor, on the outside, then it's a bit of the hassle to get your bags or rolling suitcases through the narrow hallways. The only other solution is to use the stairs that feel a bit shaky. The room was small, but the bathroom was a good size and I really liked the tub and shower combo which is becoming rarer for smaller hotels. I have to admit that it was a tight fit inside the room, more suitable for people traveling solo or in a couple. The staff was really nice and accommodating. I also liked that the hotel is a green hotel. I think that the microwaves in the rooms could use update, but other than that it was good. Good wi-fi and easy to access. Overall a good experience. I would stay there again, especially to get away from the hustle and bustle or visiting friends at UCSD. Mehr

RIGHT NEXT TO A CAR DEALERSHIP THAT WERE REMODELING AND PAVING ALL NIGHT LONG!!! BECAUSE I HAD JUST DRIVEN 400 MILES AND WAS COMPLETELY EXHAUSTED I CHOSE TO ENDURE CONSTRUCTION NOISE AND TRUCK BACK UP ALARMS FOR LATE INTO THE NIGHT.....WELL PAST 10PM..........ROOM WAS NOT TOO CLEAN, MILDEW IN BATHROOM.......BUT IT WAS CHEAP, WHAT CAN I SAY. Our room was small, but it was clean and comfortable. It is a good value for the price. Breakfast room is small, so not always a place to sit. Convenient to Mission Bay and Pacific Beach.

Smaller rooms but priced accordingly. Very convenient to Beaches, Sea World.

The insulation of the hotel is not that good. We were on the second floor, and could hear the people upstairs and those walking outside the corridor.

Very uncomfortable bed and a very small room.

This place had paper thin walls. When the neighbors talked, showered or flushed the toilet we knew all about it. It's on a noisy, busy street and was full of college kids that came and went all hours of the night. Great little pool, nice staff, adequate continental breakfast, but the room was the tiniest I have ever had in an American motel,,and the lighting consisted of ONLY ONE LAMP!! I would still stay there again if I were in the area.

Pros: Good location for tourists (only one exit from Seaworld, and is right by Mission Bay), fairly inexpensive, no additional pet fee. Cons: Room was very small, neigbors were noisy, breakfast room was small and selection limited. Overall this was okay, although if I was staying in San Diego again I would probably check out another place.

The hotel employees were very friendly and help full , my wife got very sick due to food poisoning that i think and the front desk call to ask us if we were ok , and i wanted the ambulance and was told to just call from my room and my wife threw up and after i took her to the hospital my son requested for another room and they gave us another room .We […] were happy with the service and i will be going back in about three weeks and plan to stay with them again . Great I-5 access. Easy to get to Pacific Beach and Mission (the problem is finding parking once you get yo the beach). Wi-Fi, lobby computer, newspaper, coffee anytime. Very polite and helpful staff.

the bathroom was bigger than the bedroom,the hot water lines in sink were reversed, One small waste can in room ,none in B-room. bed was horrible,pillows were fine. rooms above and along side easily heard. completely different from other red roof inns like in tustin,this is thier purchase for land value and should not bare the name red roof

Good deal for the price, clean and quite.

nothing great..nothing bad..a little loud from street traffic..but for cheap price it works! rooms were a little small but very clean

This hotel is close to the ocean and clean. The single queen bed room is very small but the location to Ocean Beach, Mission Beach, La Jolla Cove and the Seaport Village is great. Again, I can not stress enough the room is very small; two people have a hard time walking in the room at the same time.

I put my kids up in the hotel and it was dirty, the toilet didn't work, towels were not clean and even a used bar of soap in the shower. Really is the cleaning crew that lazy or hate their job that much? Oh and the continental breakfast forget it. Unless you want a piece of toast and a microwavable pancake not even any muffins or fresh fruit. But hey […] as the saying goes you get what you pay for, but this hotel should not even be offered. The hotel room was really small and it really needed updating. The continental breakfast was okay... we had someone dump a trash can over and the maintenance person just picked the can up but left the trash until later that day... didn't leave a good impression. The bed was very, very hard.. Sorry, won't be staying there again.. :(

No way would i recomend this motel ,the rooms where the smallest i have ever seen.We where booked for 5 days ,got out after 1 night.The rooms where smaller then my kids bedroom.The picture are VERY misleading They called the room the DELUXE duh what does that mean??The so called breakfast was nothing much

We check-in late and the friendly welcome from the counter removed all the fatigue long driving feeling. And We are given a room near to the breakfast area. The breakfast room is small and staying near to it makes it very convienance for us to have our breakfast in room. Breakfast is being top up constantly.Room is clean.

Well the tilte do seem interesting. I was indeed satisfied with your overall services, only one thing I was to request is to offer better breakfast items so that we can come to your hotel often. I will be going to San Diego for the next three 3 yrs and most likely to stay in your hotel because I truly liked your service.

It was to much tracffic trying to get in and out of the shopping areas and the single bed rooms are really small, but over all the it was ok.

The room was small but it was clean and the people were friendly. For the cost of the hotel it was a great place to stay for my budget. Lots of fun stuff to do in the area and close to mission beach and La Jolla and Sea world.

The staff was great, worked with our late check in. It was exactly what we wanted for the price range.... 1 star removed for uncomfortable bed but that's just me being picky. The price was right for a room just to crash in.

Rooms were very small . Ok for just the night. Very short drive to the beach which was nice and we enjoyed the food selection near by.

We only stayed one night. We were given two towels in the bathroom and one had a weird brown stain on it. The room was barely large enough to fit two people - and that was if one of us was sitting on the bed. There was no room to walk around. Its in an ok location - short cab ride to PB. We stayed there for one Night in August and were quiet happy with the Room. Really easy to find, because its near to the Highway. We'd go there again.

The tiniest hotel room I have ever stayed inn. The property is old and poorly maintained. No extra pillows available. The paint on the interior of the old microwave oven was all chipped away and we were afraid to turn it on. The room was far too small for a queen size bed.

I was at the in for longer than original plan. The people and the stay was very comfortable. convienent to the area I needed to see .Only limit they dont allow long distance international calls from the phones ( some motels do) but every thing else was fine.

The service was great, however the room was too small, the swimming pool was in an awkward location from the hotel and too small. The location was great. But rather have a more comfortable room.

Ligger lige ud til en meget trafikeret vej. MEGET små værelser.

Rummet var mycket litet och det var svårt att få rum med två öppna resväskor. Ingen "safety box" på rummet. Ganska lyhört. Helt okej frukost och trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Bra läge, närhet till restauranger, Sea World och strand. Man fick bra valuta för priset!
