Das Hotel lässt wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Tolle große Zimmer mit allem erdenklichen Komfort. Im Badezimmer sogar ein Whirlpool! Toll wäre, wenn bei der Größe des Zimmers im Wohnbereich das Sofa eine Schlafcouch mit Aufbettung für die 3. und 4. Person eingerichtet wäre. Aber, das ist nur eine Anregung, keinerlei Kritik.Die Lage ist auch klasse, nur ein etwa 150 langer Spaziergang und man ist mitten auf dem Strip. Wenn wir mal wieder kommen, würden wir sehr gern wieder hier wohnen!!

Wir waren 5 Tage in Las Vegas im Trump. Das Hotel hat die 5 Sterne absolut verdient. Es liegt etwas abseits vom Strip, ist sehr ruhig und hat kein Casino, was uns besonders gefallen hat. Daher auch eine Nichtraucherunterkunft. Shuttel zum Caesars Pallace alle 15min, ansonsten ist man aber auch zu Fuss gleich am Strip und kann bequem durch die Fashion Show mall flanieren. Uns hat es super gefallen. Das Hotel erhebt allerdings eine Ressort-Gebühr von 25$ pro Tag. Damit ist aber Internet etc. inklusive.

"Entfernung zum Strip zu weit."
Für 2 Tage ok. Zimmer sind geräumig. Busfahrt zum Strip ist etwas umständlich und dauert verhältnismäßig lange (ca. 20 Min) auch mit Expressbus nicht viel schneller.
"Gute Lage, altesHotel, kein Fahrstuhl im Anbau"
Das Hotel hat ein Hauptgebäude und einen Anbau über dem Casino. Wenn man nicht die teuersten Zimmer bucht, bekommt man offenbar nicht die Zimmer, die auf den Bildern zu sehen sind, sondern eines im Anbau. Das Zimmer war zwar sauber, aber sehr veraltet, Ausblick auf den Wirtschaftshof war auch nicht grade ein Erlebnis. Es gab einen sehr unangenehmen […] Geruch im Flur (Abgase der Klimaanlagen? Rauch?). Die Spiegel im Zimmer und Bad sind zu hoch angebracht, man kann sich kaum anschauen. Die 2 Sessel stehen so in den Ecken des Zimmers, dass wenn man zu zweit ist und nicht unbedingt immer im Bett sitzten will, einander nicht sieht ( man fragt sich, wo ist der Sinn?). In der Eigenwerbung des Hotels steht, dass es eines der besten Hotels in Downtown sei, - das stimmt nicht. Lieber ein moderneres Hotel wählen! Mehr

Sehr sauberes Hotel Nähe der Fremontstreet. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet mit Kühlschrank, TV, Kaffeemaschine. Das Bad war stets blitzsauber. Es ist ein Fitnessraum vorhanden. Im Restaurant gibt es ein ordentliches Frühstück.

"El Cordez in Las Vegas immer eine Reise wert !!!"
Wir haben im Sept. 10 für 3 Übernachtungen im El Cordez gewohnt. Wir waren mit dem Hotel total zufrieden. Sehr gut ausgestattete Zimmer mit Klimaanlage, super sauber, keine Lärmbelästigung, Frühstückscaffee und Schnellimbiss im Kasino, und kostenloser Parkplatz für unseren Mietwagen! Zum Strip sind es zwar einige Kilometer zu fahren, ist aber mit einem […] Leihwagen überhaupt kein Problem. Zur Freemmont Street sind es nur ca. 300 m um die Ecke. Im Erdgeschoß befindet sich ein großes Casino und man muß immer durch das Casino zum Betreten oder Einchecken. Uns hat dies nicht gestört, im Gegenteil, wir haben uns gut amüsiert. Wir hatten ursprünglich nur zwei Nächte gebucht, sind aber nochmals für eine Nacht zurückgekommen. Ein besseres Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis können wir uns nicht vorstellen und wir waren zu 100% zufrieden. Wir können dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und würden diese Unterkunft sofort wieder buchen!!!!! Mehr
"Sehr gutes Hotel in Downtown Vegas"
Wir waren extrem zufrieden mit dem Hotel El Cortez. Alles wirkte neu und sehr sauber, perfekte Zimmerausstattung. Sehr groß war das Zimmer jedoch nicht. Dadurch, dass das Zimmer in einem separaten Gebäudeteil des Hotelkomplexes lag, waren wir von der allgemeinen Hektik nicht betroffen, was uns sehr angenehm war. El Cortez Hotel is located directly at Fremont Street - Fremont Experience, quite away from the Las Vegas Strip with all the plush casinos. It is is old but well maintained. I cannot report about the casino quality as I am no gambler. We were satisfied with the room, which is also old but absolutely odor-neutral, clean and just big enough. Positive […] also is the parking virtually on the same level of your room. 2 negatives, just to bear in mind: no hairdryer in room and tv without remote. We actually had booked 3 nights at the CircusCircus but fled from there after one night because of an absolutely catastrophic room and moved to El Cortez. We absolutely did not regret this decision and slept very good at this hotel. Mehr
"preislich unschlagbar"
Das Zimmer war eher altertümlich elegant eingerichtet und der Ausblick auf den Hinterhof nich doll. Aber zum pennen ausreichend. Und das beste: den Preis bekommt man komplett wieder, wenn man die Gutscheine zum spielen, Frühstück, Getränke etc gegenrechnet. Würde ich jederzeit wieder nehmen - und die Gegend is viel cooler als der Strip...

"El Cortez Cabanas are nice downtown LV option"
The cabanas are very nice. Retro and hip. Hands down, the best option downtown for folks who like their privacy and a nice room. It also was very quiet. Who would have thought "El Cortez" would have such an option?

I loved everything about the El Cortez Junior Cabana Suite the new side i just didnt like that you have to go to the first floor for ice. It should b an ice machine on every floor .

"El Cortez - you get what you pay for"
For starters, the hotel is a smoke cloud. No swimming pool available. Room service was probably tied for bottom 3 in my traveling career. Playing tables were limited. Solicitors walking throughout the casino. I must say though, the food and service in the Cafe was great! The valet guys were prompt and professional. OH...and, if you have a large party […] and you have rooms on different floors, you cant visit them because in order for you to use the elevator you need to use your room key and it will only permit the ride to the appropriate floor. OVERALL, i would recommend only if you are broke and/or not planning to spend ANY time in the hotel except for some shut eye. Mehr

We stayed there before, but had a Cabana room. They are great, but small. Had no complaints. This time we stayed in a vintage room. What a great surprise. I was a little leary after reading the reviews. Yes, we did have to walk up a flight of stairs, but it was only once up and once down with a suitcase. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Hotel was old but clean. The towels were like floor mats from another life. It was real nice to be able to walk to Freemont Street.. The cocktail waitresses in the casino were VERY slow in supplying drinks. All in all I would get another room there.

We loved the hotel. We stayed in the Cabana Suites. The room & shower were amazing!!! It was a little ways from the strip. However, there is a bus stop very close & the buses run 24 hours a day. The Downtown Freemont Experience was very nice as well. We would book again!

"Another great stay at Cabanas"
Fantastic room for the price, private, classy and convenient. Room not 100 percent clean as in past - found long hair on bathroom sink counter and bobby pin on the floor, very dusty light fixtures on wall above headboard. Other than that, very pleased. Staff friendly and courteous.
"I'd stay again"
We stayed in a vintage room, it was clean. The bathroom has zero counter space, which for me turned out to be a little difficult. The first night we realized we were facing Fremont street, so the second night we bought earplugs. The staff at the hotel were very nice. You cant beat the price. I would stay here again.

Of course it is not Bellaggio or Whynn but if are not staying 24 hours in the room you will be satisfied. If you instead are searching for a hotel with a lot of fancy pancy or you like to impress your girl friend you should open your money bag and go to Encore hotel. "It was a nice visit"
The room was great and the customer service was exceptional. I hate the fact that wi-fi is not included in the price of the hotel and at $11.99 per day it's a ridiculous price to pay especially when you are on business and NEED internet access. The main parking garage was being cleaned and re striped so it was inconvenient to park in the ancillary garage, […] but not a huge deal. I would stay again. Mehr
I was very unhappy when we got to the hotel after driving in traffic that took us 6hours rather than the normal 3/12 to 4 hours to get there. And when we get there the rooms I wanted was not available. I had asked for two rooms with two beds and one of the rooms had to be handicap. They over looked that on the reservation. And basicly they said it was […] my fault I should have called them to remind them weeks ago. And it took us two more hours just to find a room there. they but us in two rooms with only one bed and we had to get up the next morning to be move to two more rooms so we could not even sleep in from the rough night we had the day before.It was not a good weekend that we had in mind and we booked 6 month earlier it really sucks that they put that on me and they had the information if front of them. "Lights, Camera, Action"
The stay ws not the best. When I checked in they clerks told me "They had no more suites available!" I told them I had booked in Febraury and that they need to find a room for me. Another clerk came and bumped someone from there room to give me a suite. It should have been reserved so that would not have to happen especially since it was paid for in […] advance. The Cortez Junior Suite was beautiful. Had one issue with the toilet which took an hour and an half for someone to fix it. I called three times before they finally arrived which delayed an appointment I had. I was there for a Dance Competition. Many of my clients stayed at your main facility and were very displeased with the following: Some had bed bugs in there rooms and had to be relocated. One client smelled a controlled substance all night and had a room that smelled like mildew. Another checked out because of the conditition of the room. Customer service could have been better as well. I would only stay again if the Junior Cabana Suite Room was available or the Deluxe Suites because that was the nicest part of the hotel. My suggestion is to upgrade the rooms, have the rooms available for the client when they check in and have quicker more friendly customer service. "Does Not Look Like The Pictures"
Our room was very dirty it was brought to the maids attention on a daily basis and nothing was done. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
The room was very well maintained. Everything was in good working order. The beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning and TV worked very well. Parking was plentiful and free. The only negative is that the hotel is a few blocks from the center of Fremont Street.
"Nice Stay"
Love old town Vegas. Great price. Easy walk to the Duce to the strip. No pool, but went to the Golden Nugget for $20.00 per person for the day. Still cheaper than staying at the Nugget.

Got a great price for two nights, room was very large! Plenty of hot water and nice linens. Room service food and service was great. Only suggestion is the mattresses weren't super comfortable, but perfectly fine.

"El Cortez Cabanas are amazing!"
The expansion across the street (Cabana suites) were just gorgeous. The rooms, lobby, hallways, everything are decorated to look retro and vintage. The walls in the rooms are bright green... The hotel was beautiful and the bed, let's just say I could have laid there all day. SO COMFORTABLE! I would love to come back to this hotel.

The El Cortez was great for the price, we had absolutely no problems. No elevator to our second floor room but as we are not handicapped, we didn't mind it. The casino was literally a flight of stairs below us, but our room maintained it's non-smoking status. The Fremont Experience was literally a short block away...awesome! And easy freeway access […] made going to the strip a breeze. We will definitely stay at the El Cortez Hotel and Casino again. Mehr
