Dieses Hotel ist wirklich empfehlenswert wegen der freundlichen Menschen an der Reception, der sauberen und freundlich eingerichteten Zimmer, die allerdings nicht besonders groß, aber groß genug sind, wegen des guten Frühstücks (nur Müsslifreunde finden keine so große Auswahl vor) und wegen der Lage des Hotels ( ca. 5 Gehminuten zum Strand und knapp 10 Gehminuten zur Metro "Poblenou". Der Bus fährt fast direkt vor der Tür ab. Also ist das Hotel empfehlenswert, natürlich besonders für die Kombination Strand- und Stadturlaub.

Gutes, ruhiges Hotel, etwas abseits gelegen - Umgebung etwas einsam

gut erreichbar mit dem Bus (zehn-min-Takt), eine Quer-Strasse vom Beach entfernt (im Olympia-Quartier), Service ist super.

Das Rafaelhotel Diagonal Port liegt etwas ausserhalb und die nächstgelegene Metro ist POBLENOU die 10 Min. entfernt liegt. Dafür ist der Strand in 4 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Ich würde empfehlen das Frühstück zu buchen, denn der Preis im Hotel ist zu hoch (15 euro pro pers). Ansonsten waren wir ganz zufrieden mit der ruhigen Lage und dem praktischen Hotel. Barcelona ist Hammer. Ohne die Ramblas auch nur einmal gesehen zu haben, waren wir total begeistert.....

Negative: Air conditioning in room was broken & could not be fixed. No other available rooms in facility. We moved to another hotel. Cheap mattreses. Not close to cruise ship port or airport. Positive: Within sight of Med. Sea. Twenty minute walk to harbor & resturants. Beach even closer.

The Hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful. The food was a little lacking but OK. You could walk to nearby cafes that were alright but forget about shopping. We were looking for a hotel near the port and it served that prupose.

The people at the hotel were very helpful. It is within walking distance of the beach, the tourist off and on bus, and a grocery store. We needed to take a taxi from the airport which was about 50 euros. The room was clean and suited our needs. We were there one night. The management let us check out an hour late which was very helpful as we couldn't get on our cruise until then. We really enjoyed Barcelona.

I chose the hotel for it's location near the beach in Poblenou. It's a five minute walk away from Bogatell and Mar Bella beaches and close to the metro and a number of bars and restaurants on the Rambla del Poblenou. A fifteen minute metro ride takes you to the Placa de Catalunya, the square at the end of La Rambla. The staff at the hotel were always friendly and happy to help, and most speak English. I didn't eat at the hotel restaurant as the buffet breakfast was priced at around 10euros and dinner was expensive too. The hotel was always clean and my room was simple and tidy, with a sea view. Standard rooms vary from the pictures but a single room had more than enough space for me, including a double bed and large wardrobe. The room was kept clean by the cleaning staff during my three night stay. The only problem I had was at check-out when I was over-charged for items from the minibar, although staff were quick to rectify this and reimburse me. Make sure you keep a record of what you have taken or buy drinks from the local supermarket instead (a small bottle of water from the minibar costs 2.25euros).

The hotel was a great value, the hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is within easy walking distance for the beach and large mall.

When I got to Barcelona I decided to stay another night and did not book it with Hotels.com and they charged me almost double. The place was great, but remember to book online its cheaper

For the price, this was an excellent hotel: clean, confortable, and convenient to underground and bus. We were there for three days, so we bought a two-day tourbus pass. The bus stop was only a couple of blocks away, and we were able to hop on and off at any location and at any time during our two days. It was also very convenient to the beach (only a couple of blocks or so away). The only drawback was that the hotel was some distance from the main part of the city, so bus, underground or taxi was necessary to see the sights.

Good Location near the Sea front. Good Service. The staff even helped us find a Lakers' playoff game on TV that came on live at 04:30am. Very good value for the money. Lots of new construction in the area.

We really weren't sure what to expect since we have never been to Europe before but we really couldn't have been happier with the hotel Rafaelhoteles Diagonal Port!! We stayed there the night before our cruise left Barcelona and the people at the hotel could not have been more friendly or helpful! Outstanding!!

This a reasonably priced hotel located within easy reach of all Barcelona's attractions. Its a stones throw from the beach and has a tourbus stop metres away. Its not in the City centre but is a short walk from a metro station and the commercial district. Its quiet, clean and friendly. Rooms are comfortable with a good bathroom and good air con. Would recommend to anyone who wants to visit the city but doesn't want to be in a noisy area or pay to much for a city centre hotel. Would go again without a doubt.

The location is remotish, half an hour by bus to Ramblas. The carpets do not appear to have been cleaned in open areas since it opened. The bar area is tiny and like a cafe. No food in afternoon at all.Nowhere to sit. So unhappy were we they offered a free dinner. The dining room was like a school canteen and the service shocking. The food was both slow to arrive and poor, we even had to ask for salt and pepper. Staff were friendly but inefficient except for one girl who spoke near perfect English who was excellent Surrounding area , like a bombsite, very poor and depressing away from the beach. No acceptable eateries for miles bar one excellent fish restaurant that closes in afternoon.

Very modern and clean. Comfortable beds. TV needs enlargement and better controls. Face cloths are not furnished, a French thing I think. A bidet is unnecessary.

COMFORTABLE BED, FINE QUALITY LINENS. GOOD VIEW WITHOUT NOISE. WE WERE DISAPPOINTED THAT BREAKFAST WAS NOT INCLUDED WITH ROOM AND ITS 15 EURO COST MADE IT HIGH FOR US.

My fiancee and I stayed here for a night and were satisfied with the accomadation...close to Poblenou which was nice, but beyond the near ocean front location, the area is kind of an eye sore. There are much better deals in much better locations if you're staying for a little while.

Jättetrevligt hotell nära stranden med havsutsikt. Prisvärt och en bit från stadskärnan men den når man enkelt med buss 36 på ca 10 min. Camp Nou når man antingen via Buss 7 som går några minuters promenad från hotellet eller via tunnelbanan. Räkna med att bussen tar ca 45 min dit.

Hotellet ligger en bra bit från "stan" (ca 40 min promenad) men precis vid havet, underbar utsikt. Taxi från stan kostade ca 7 eur. Det finns även tunnelbana i närheten. Frukost kostade 15 eur. Det är en byggarbetsplats precis bredvid så om man vaknar lätt så kanske man ska välja ett annat hotell men det störde inte oss. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal.

Dette var et supert hotel. det var pent og rent, ryddig. Frokosten var dessverre både dyr og lite fristende. jeg oppfattet beskrivelsen som at dette var et sentrumsnært hotel. Det er i alle høyeste grad problematisk å gå fra hotellet til La Rambla på kort tid. Bane eller taxi be benyttet. Men HOTELLET var veldig bra ellers.

Morgenmad bør indgå i prisen, 120 kr ekstra pr dag er meget. Bus næsten udenfor døren og Metro kun en lille gåturtil centrum

This is a nice hotel close to the beach (5 minute walk). The room is tidy and with nice comfort, a good bed and nice bathroom. The showerpreasure could be better tho. a 30-40 minute walk to the city, however busline 41 goes right outside the hotel and metro L3 is about 5 minute walk from the hotel. The metro goes every 3-5 minutes until midnight. The upsides is close to the beach, cheap compared to the quality of the hotel, close to public transportation, no noise (like it would be if you had a hotel in the midle of the city) The downside was a bit to far from the city, showerpreasure was really up and down.

Hotellet ligger inte långt från stranden. Personalen är trevlig och svarar gärna på frågor. Frukosten något dyr men bra. Rundtursbussarna har hållplats alldeles intill. Metron några kvarter därifrån. Kommer gärna dit igen.

Trevligt hotell nära vattnet. Smidigt att gå till t-banan och åka in till La Rambla. Fräscht hotell men tyvärr ingår inte frukost, vilket hade varit trevligt. Frukosten kostar 14 euro vilket vi tyckte verkade lite dyrt.

Litt langt unna La Rambla, men gikk meget fint med metro'n rett i nærheten. Hyggelig betjening og fine rom med air-con.

Hotellet har ett perfekt läge med ca 200m till havet, men om man vill in till centrum är det lite väl långt i mitt tycke. I övrigt var det ett fint hotell med de bekvämligheter man kan önska sig.

Frukosten på Rafael Diagonal Port är alldelens för dyr nämligen 14 euro per person per dag, så det är många som skippar fikat på detta hotell.. 14 euro är ju 140kr i sv pengar.. Vi hoppade över frukosten och ordnade eget fika. Annars är det ett bra hotell

L'hôtel est moderne, ne paie pas de mine de l'extérieur mais est correct au niveau confort. Malheureusement, on retrouve les 4 étoiles dans le prix du "desayuno" à 16 ? par personne, ce qui m' a semblé relativement cher. Comme dans tout hôtel de ce genre, tout est payé en extra. L'hôtel est situé dans le quartier de l'extension, juste à côté de la plage mais point négatif, excentré du centre ville. Finalement, cela nous a permis de bien marcher dans barcelone. Sinon il y a le bus, le tram pas très loin et des stations de vélos juste à côté. Finalement l'éloignement n'est pas un problème. Pour résumer, je dirais que c'est correct, à condition de ne pas abuser des services non compris.... Petite info, il faut prendre la sortie de la rocade "diagonal mar" pour arriver à l'hôtel au plus vite.

To svigt: (1) Termostaten i bruseren var defekt, så den skiftede mellem iskoldt og skoldhedt vand, uden at man kunne styre det. Receptionisten lovede, at det vile blive ordnet, men det blev det ikke. (2) Receptionisten lovede at skaffe en taxi til et vigtigt møde. Da jeg skulle afsted, var der ingen taxi, og receptionisten kunne ikke skaffe en. Ellers pænt og rent hotel med god beliggenhed. Men ingen kompetence til at løse problemer og give service.

Bra hotell, enda nackdelan var en dyr frukost, men vid Rambla Poble Nou fanns trevliga kaféer där man kunde äta en mycket god frukost. Där fanns också en del trevliga affärer. Några minuters promenad till en fin sandstrand. Bra kommunikationer in till centrum.

Vi var på jentetur og ønsket et bra hotell nær stranden. Det fikk vi! God beliggenhet, flott service og et velholdt hotel. Reiser gjerne tilbake. Vær obs på at det er et lite stykke å gå inn til selve byen - men spaserturen er flott for sightsing eller man kan gå langs stranden.. Anbefales.

Hotellet ligger nära en lång fin badstrand så när det är badsäsong är det kanon. I övrigt så finns det närhet till metro för att ta sig in till Barcelonas centrum på ca 10-15 min. Helt OK. Hotellet har bra standard och är fräscht.

Mooi hotel, wel wat uit het centrum van de stad maar met de metro is het centrum makkelijk te bereiken. Service was vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam. Zeker waar voor je geld !
