Einzige Mängel: - eMail Anfragen vor der Anreise wurden vom Hotel nicht beantwortet. - Der Frühstücksraum war viel zu klein für die Anzahl Gäste, die Frühstücken wollten. Man musste lange anstehen, bis ein Tisch frei wurde.

I cannot fault the room, service and amenities and everything to do with the hotel. However, it was very unfortunate that they are building 2 skyscrapers right next to the hotel. The building did not affect noise when you were in your room, but on the beach you could hear and see plenty and one building actually blocks the beach from the sun for about […] 45 minutes at midday. It wasn't a holiday from hell but if you are expecting peace and quiet on the beach, you won;t get it I'm afraid! Mehr

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Avril and the team in the club rooms are outstanding, we were given a fantastic terrace and our whole stay was made to be relaxing and we were well taken care of to the highest standard. The only thing stopping me staying here again is the construction site next door, when you sunbathe you wake up covered in building […] ash and the air is full of dust which is disgusting. A bit far out south on the Jumeirah strip, it takes some 30 minutes in a cab from downtown Dubai, butt well there it is a wonderful place. And it is very close to the Emirates Golf Resort and the Emirates Mall. One of the few beach resorts in Dubai, with a large pool- and relax area under the palm trees, to be ended at the private beach on the Gulf. […] One can easily spend a day here in the relax area, well served from the 3 bars and with the main restaurant near by. In the evening I would recommend to spend some time in the magical The Bliss Lounge Bar on the beach, it is truly magical. The staff were always very helpful, as should be expected in a place like this, but they really walked the extra mile for me. I caught a bad cold the last day and was really bad the day we should leave, so I asked to be able to keep the room until leaving for the airport late in the evening. The staff could see how weak I was and gave me a very attractive offer, which I gladly accepted. I will be for ever thankful and such treatment gives an extra start in my book Mehr

The service and the people that are working there really makes you feel that you are staying at a 5 star hotel. However the room was outdated and smelled really awfull. In general the rooms need an upgrade asap to keep up to date with the 5 star rating..

Really lovely hotel.Very helpful reception staff. We arrived early and I asked if we could take our room any earlier and they said they would see what we can do. We went off to the mall of emirates on the courtsey bus and when we got back they had our room ready. Lovely pool area. Very helpful and smiley staff. We only had a day and one night stay as […] on route to New Zealand but would highly recommend this hotel. My only complaint if any was they were building next door so there was a little noise from that. Before we left the UK I contacted the hotel to arrange airport pick up /drop off which was no problem for them. While we were there we found it very easy to get taxi's and very cheap compared to London prices. Mehr

On arriving at the hotel we were greeted by some of the rudest people that could possibly work in the hospitality trade. the attitude of the reception staff was very poor,even after someone had run through the hotel at 5am ringing everyones doorbells after our first night(3-4 times) i told reception and they just said no one would be doing this,(i was […] not lying). We booked for four people and upon arrival were told we would have the choice of 1 king, or 2 singles, i reminded them we had booked for 4 people and they told us we would have to pay for extra beds. We ate out of the hotel as the food and beverage was very expensive, although the pool and surrounds are nice, and the ground staff were great, you would expect a bit more from this hotel. There are better places to stay in the same area Im sure, and wont we be staying at the Sheraton again. Mehr

Very nice hotel and very friendly staff. It was my fiance's birthday and they sent a complimentary cake and fruit plate to the room. The pool and area was very clean and beautiful. The bathroom was the most shocking to me because the shower was a tiled sectioned of the floor with a curtain! The room was very modern and comfortable but the shower let […] the whole bathroom get wet. You're very close to many shops and restaurants so if you can refrain from eating in the hotel, then do so because the food is really expensive. I went to the salon they had in the hotel and the customer service and services were excellent, however, it was my fault for not asking for the prices in advance because it ended up being REALLY expensive! Oh and if you need taxi service, walk about 10 feet outside to catch one. The concierges are very nice and will put you in a personal taxi (which is more expensive) every time! Even it was not so cold, but having hot water in the pool was good idea.

Very clean and nice , area was nice as well . there were lots of choices for food in the hotel and out side the hotel .

Private beach, very nice grass area, rooms are clean and comfortable. Location is great, lots of restaurants around. Free shuttle bus to the shopping malls. Had a super nice stay..

Great service; When we messed up our food order, they replaced the food with what we wanted without missing a beat. Nice and clean beach and pool areas as well. Internet - Cant believe they still charge for this...

Paid for sea view room. Got first floor, could only see tops of trees and no terrace. Room decor very tired. Changed me after three days. Otherwise staff very good, food good and common areas better than rooms

I enjoy staying here on my way in or out of the country. As my business is in Abu Dhabi, I like to stay here after arriving in Dubai (direct from the US) because it is very South in the city and allows me to get to Abu Dhabi quickly the next day. Unless I am going downtown (Corniche, Abu Dhabi Mall for example), it takes me an hour or less to get to […] the city limits. The location is nice for relaxing and unwinding. Jumeirah beach has the walking area with outdoor cafes that are quite reasonable; there are also fast food chains,little shops and a small mall. Other hotels are close for great dining if you wish. If you want the great shopping or to go to the movies, Marina Mall and the Duabi Mall aren't within walking distance, but a taxi is not expensive, and you could get an even shorter ride and take the Dubai Metro. The hotel itself is nothing fancy, and by Dubai standards is old. Rooms are not memorable but comfortable and clean and modern. Many have a sea view. However, the facilities are quite nice. The pool is a good size and has a bar. Also, there is a huge area between the beach and the pool with dozens of plam trees. They are great for shade, an afternoon snooze, and they cover the pool in the early evening to give shade in the deep end. There is also a small 5 a side soccer pitch and walking area with a coy pond. The restaurants are quite good. The last time i ate in the buffet, it was Middle Eastern/Indian night, and the food an belly dancing were great. have not done teh Asian restaurant, but the steak house is very very good. Try the wagyu if your wallet can handle it! I will certainly stay here again, as I like convenience, no crowds, and have had enough of the high traffic tourist shopping areas. Mehr

I was very pleased, hotel is located in a good spot of Dubai, and had a shuttle to the mall. I didn't like the fact that on the way to the airport the pushed me to use one of their taxis which costed me almost 15 extra us dls. Over all the hotel was nice, nice location, nice pool, very clean.

the 5 star hotel with the great price and the greatest location ever ( the walk) is the best thing i could ask for !! i highly recommend it..

Stayed here for two nights and had a great time with kids. Plenty of room to relax and have a fun time with kids. Even though it said double beds, they gave us two queens. Beach area was nice and clean, water very warm in summer months. Jumeirah Walk connects the hotel and many restaurants; and quite lively at night with tourists and locals. They offer […] shuttles to local malls, which was a great surprise. There is construction going on next door, but couldn't hear a thing for most part. Ostrukturerat och dåligt hotell. När vi checkade in så var alla rum mot havet slut trots att vi hade betalt extra för havs utsikt. Dom lovade att vi skulle få byta dagen efter men vi fick själva gå och fråga gång på gång och när vi äntligen fick byta rum så blev det ett nytt rum där vi inte såg havet. Vores oplevelse var noget kritisabel. Først var værelset ikke klart. Så fik vi et rygerbærelse (modsat bestilt). Så ventede vi atter en time og fik et nyt værelse hvor vi måtte kæmpe en brav kamp for at få leveret de 2 børnesenge vi havde bestilt. En meget dårlig start og elendig service. расположен в районе, удобном для посещения любых достопримечательностей города. однако в настоящее время в непосредственной близости проходит строительство небоскреба (строятся уже самые последние этажи), но при сильных ветрах строительная пыль летит прямо на территорию отеля, кроме того проходит реконструкция пляжа самого отеля-работы проводят 2 больших […] трактора. за 3 дня до окончания отпуска нас пересилили в другой номер, в котором при включении кондиционера очень сильно пахло сыростью и гнилью. Для размещения семьи из четырех человек-двух взрослых и 2 детей до 12 лет номер очень маленький (хотя у нас был клубный с видом на море)-даже элементарно шкаф не может поместить всех вещей... Mehr

Tämä hotelli sopii loistavasti ranta + kaupunkiloman yhdistelmää etsivälle. Sopii hyvin myös lapsiperheille hotellin sijainnin ja ravintolapalvelujen puolesta. Rauhallinen oma ranta ja väljä uima-allas/aurinkoalue poikkevat edukseen lähistön suuremmista hotelleista. Edullisten taksien ansiosta kaikki ostoskeitaat ovat "lähellä" ja aina saatavilla. Oiva hotelli lapsiperheelle (kouluikäiset lapset). Hotellia valitessa kriteerimme olivat seuraavat: uimaranta, uima-allas maan tasalla ja kohtuullinen hinta. Tämä hotelli oli edullisin, jossa kaksi ensimmäistä kriteeriä täyttyi. Maaliskuun puolessa välissä sekä uima-allas että merivesi lämpimiä. Henkilökunta ystävällistä. Kuntosali hyvä ja treenin ajaksi […] tenavat sai sijoitettua KidsClubiin. Hotelli jo hieman iäkäs, mikä näkyi sisustuksessa, muuten siisti. Aamiainen oli hintava, joten kävelimme rantakadun kahviloihin aamiaiselle. Ihan viittä tähteä en antaisi, mutta puitteet paikkasi paljon. Hotellet er fint, bra beliggenhet. Veldig dårlig service,ingen fleksibilitet. Ble forventet at alle 4 skulle ligge i en stor dobbeltseng eller i to brede enkeltsenger. Ingen sofa som et barn kunne sove på. Ikke mulig å få bestilt taxi i lobbyen, bare hoteltaxi. Frokost var ikke inkudert, var dyrt å etterbestille. Måtte også betale dyrt for barna (som […] spiser fint lite). Kommer nok ikke tilbake hit. Mehr

Anbefaler dette hotellet på det varmeste! Flott beliggenhet ved stranden med flotte bademuligheter. Fint bassengområde. Veldig hyggelig betjening. Ligger i enden av The Walk med mange spennende spisesteder. Gratis shuttelbuss til Mall Of Emirates. Kommer veldig gjerne hit igjen!

E' il secondo hotel più vecchio di Dubai, le camere sono in condizioni vergognose, il ristorante nalla Lobby è impresentabile, la zona piscina all'aperto e spiaggia privata da mezzogiorno alle 16 sono in ombra perchè hanno costruito di fianco un edificio di circa 60 piani, un cinque stelle che ne dovrebbe avere a mala pena due, avevamo prenotato per […] 5 giorni, siamo scappati dopo due, una porcheria! L'unica nota positiva lo staff molto gentile It's the second eldest hotel in Dubai, the rooms are in awful conditions, the restaurant in the Lobby it's folling apart and a huge building almost 60 stories high has been built beside this hotel and shades the swimming pool area and the private beach, I hope none of you will ever spend money in this hotel, we had booked a non refundable 5 days stay but we have run away after 2 days and lost the money, I think it's self explanatory! The only good thing about this place is a very friendly staff Mehr

Lapsiystävällinen hotelli. Kylmä katettu matala vaiuvojen uima-allas, mutta isosta lämpimästä altaasta eroteltu osa, jossa uimataidottomat 4- ja 6-vuotiaat pystyivät mainiosti polskimaan. Merenranta mukavasti hotellin pihassa. Kattava ravintolavalikoima. Mukava huone.

Hyvä hotelli hyvällä sijainnilla. Viereinen rakennustyömaa aiheutti jonkin verran ärtymystä, sillä auringon mukana piti siirtyä akselilla pool-hiekkaranta-puutarha. Hyvä Harvian sauna jossa sai käydä rauhassa ilman muita ihmisiä.

Kiva hotelli jossa ystävällinen palvelu. Uima-allas alue siisti ja mukava. Altaan vesi todella kylmää. Viereen rakennettiin korkeaa rakennusta joka varjosti keskipäivän auringon.

Hotelli sijaitsee Dubain suositulla Jumeirah Beachin ranta-alueella, jossa on lukuisia muita huippuhotelleja. Ympäristö on aika turistivoittoista ja paikallista tunnelmaa ei sieltä oikeastaan löydy. Lähellä on runsaasti ravintoloita ja kahviloita ja lähimpään kauppakeskukseen (Marina Mall) on noin 15 min kävelymatka. Sama matka on myös lähimmälle metroasemalle, […] josta pääsee kätevästi Dubain vanhaan keskustaan. Hotellin taso hyvä ja siellä on useita ravintoloita, joiden taso on riittävän korkea. Uima-allasalue on periaatteessa hieno, mutta silti siihen liittyi ainakin meidän perheen suurin pettymyskin. Sheratonin viereen nimittäin rakennetaan pilvenpiirtäjää ja tuo rakennustyömaa varjostaa tehokkaasti uima-allasalueen. Jouluviikolla aurinko paistoi altaalle vain klo 12 - 14 välisen ajan. Hotellilla on oma alue meren rannalla ja sinne kyllä aurinko paistaa paljon enemmän. Meidän alle 3-vuotiaalle kuitenkin meren aallokko oli liian pelottava, eikä rannalla oleminen ollut kovin nautittavaa. Tuo rakennustyömaa tuo tietysti myös äänihäiriöitä, vaikka onneksi huoneisiin asti meteli ei kuulunut. Yksi lisäpettymys oli myös parvekkeiden puuttuminen. Olimme tilanneet huoneen merinäköalalla ja sellainen kyllä olikin, mutta meille ei tulllut edes mieleen, ettei huoneessa olisi parveketta. Aivan kauheasti ei lohduttnut havainto, ettei muillakaan ollut parveketta... Valitettavasti en voi suositella ko. hotellia perhelomailuun. Mehr

Helt greit hotell. Suveren service. Hotellets største fordel er plasseringen nært stranden, med eget bassengområde og privat strand. Stor bakdel med byggevirksomhet på nabotomten.

Nice location with beach access. Pool area shaded by nearby houses about half the day. Dec 2011 à big house is built nearby causing noise. Otherwise nice hotel that we would recommend. Big public beach NeXT to hotel.

Dette hotellet kan med trygghet anbefales. Flott service, god beliggenhet og veldig rent og fint. Flott uteområde med masse solsenger og privat strand. Eneste minus var byggningsarbeide på nabotomten som var litt irriterende, men er vel ferdig om 5-6 måneder.

Puitteet (allas-alue yms.) ja sijainti hyvät. Olimme osan matkasta toisessa hotellissa, joka oli hintatasoltaan yli puolet edullisempi, mutta jossa mm. palvelu ja huoneiden taso oli monin verroin parempi. Sheraton ei antanut mitään huikeaa vastinetta hintaansa nähden.

Très bel hôtel, très belle situation mais chambres trop simples avc très peu de confort. Lits enfants vétustes et vieux.
