"Am Tor zu den Rocky Mountains gelegen"

Zum Laufen braucht man nur über die Straße gehen und ist direkt am Fluss. Das war super! Das Personal ist sehr nett und das Zimmer zum Glück nicht kanadisch "cosy" sondern stylisch. Das hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Absolut weiterempfehlenswert! Ich würde wieder buchen.

Frühstück allerdings typisch nordamerikanisch: kein Käse, keine Wurst, nur Marmeladen, Labbertoastbrot, Waffelmaschine. Besteck / Teller, alles in Wegwerfplastik.

Our stay was comfortable. I did not use the bathtub as there was a ring around it. A definate indication that it had not been scrubbed out thoroughly.There were also several black hairs in the bed that I slept in and the sheets were very wrinkled. "Good Basic Hotel in South Calgary"
Stayed at the Econo Lodge for two nights during a recent stay in Calgary. The hotel was an older building, but the rooms were clean and actually very quiet considering that the hotel was located right on McLeod Trail. It was very conveniently located for everything we were doing in SW and SE Calgary and getting to downtown was very easy. The only think […] I was a bit disappointed in was the state of the pool area and the exercise room. The exercise facility was very small with only three pieces of equipment, one of which..the recumbent bike was broken. The jacuzzi hot tub was only luke warm, but this may have been because it wasn't used much and was off for a long period of time. It took quite a while to warm up and never did get really hot. The continental breakfast was just the basic fare, although not much different from what is offered in most other budget hotels. All in all we had a pleasant two day stay in this hotel and considering the lower cost of our room, we would certainly stay here again in the future. MehrAuthentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

"Older style but nice."
This is an older style hotel. It's not perfect but the staff was excellent and we had absolutely no problems. There is plenty of places to eat within walking distance from the room. There is also a grocery store just up the street. It is a straight shot up the street up to the Calgary Stadium(under 10 minutes if you hit the lights wrong). I was in a room directly over the office and adjacent to a rental room/lounge. The exterior office doors were sliding automatic doors that kept opening and closing all night waking me up each time. The rental room had been rented to a large group for a dancing and singing practice. This is fine unless your room is right next door and there is little […] or no soundproofing. It was very good for my purpose. They were renovating quite a few rooms, but it didn't affect me at all. I did notice that the carpet in my room was badly stained, but again I didn't really care. The bed, couch, bathroom, and hot tub were all great. The front desk service people were awesome! We've stayed in this hotel before and likely will again when we travel with our children (5 & 7). It is in a good location on a main thoroughfare with a number of restaurants nearby. It is old, but clean and comfy and reasonably priced. The continental breakfast is standard, but the breakfast room is quite pleasant with a large TV. Our non-smoking room […] did have some smoke odour; however, I really liked being able to open the window. The staff was friendly. No bibles in the rooms anymore, although the front desk has them. Good distance from South Health Campus, was in Calgary for a course at the SHC, decent restaurants in the area after a long day. The hotel was very nice and clean, we had our small dog with us so we were in the older motel section. The carpet wasn't clean and the beds were old but OK. "good location"
The hotel was very easy to find. The beds were really nice & compfy. The breakfast was nice to have even though it was nothing special. I love having a fridge & microwave in the room. The only thing not so good was that the carpet needed a good cleaning however I have seen way worse carpets. We plan to book 3 rooms here next Spring for the Comic Convention. when we arrived the comforters had hair on them. When we told the front desk the evening manager immediately replaced the bedding. was quite happy with other parts of our stay enjoyed the pools and complimentary breakfast.Authentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

Befriedigend
"Disappointing"
Room was very small, very strong deodourizer smell (unpleasant). Most importantly, mould in the bathroom. The bathroom was also very small.The breakfast room was very nice and the food was good. Pool and hot tub were also nice. The room was expensive in regards to the above. We could have stayed in a higher rated hotel for the same price.Authentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

Room was clean. Beds were comfy. The only thing we don't like was that you had to flush the toilet like 3 times before the toilet paper went down all of the way. We told them twice they said they fixed it but they didn'tAuthentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung
