Not bad, average hotel, older construction. I was satisfied for the rate. FYI, Pool opens at noon, but we asked and were able to get in before heading off. Be careful selling the pool to the kids if you plan on getting in late and leaving early. "OK but too expensive for what you are getting"

"Great experience!"
My boyfriend and I travel a lot and have stayed in some really nice hotels. For this trip, we knew we'd be driving all day and then all day the next day too, so we just needed a bed to rest our heads and possibly a bagel in the morning. The Comfort Inn FAR exceeded our expectations and our needs for the price! They were so friendly; they were expecting […] me and knew me by name when I walked in the door! Plus, there were a huge number of breakfast options including great biscuits and gravy and fresh waffles! Definitely would stay here again if I'm ever in the area! "Not Bad"
We stayed here because it was the half way point for us on a long road trip, the place was clean and the staff friendly. The bed was comfortable and the shower hot! There was also a nice choice of places to eat close by, from fast food to sit down style. Great location and easy access to Blue Ridge Parkway. Many area restaurants to choose from and a wonderful breakfast at the hotel. The elavator was inoperatable for a few hours and the staff was very concerned. They even offered to relocate us from the third floor to the first.
