The Hotel was nice for a short stay--2 nights. The customer service provided by the front desk left a little to be desired. We ask for an extra pillow the first night and they gave it to us. The second night, we needed another pillow and they said to us "we already gave you an extra one and we don't have any more." It is difficult to believe that they […] had no more pillows... I found it a little rude! We didn't spend too much time in the Hotel, just ate breakfast and came back to sleep. The breakfast was bare minimum with toast, beagles, waffles, juice and coffee. All in all, I will stay again... Mehr

The motel was very hard to get in and out of. The staff was ok. Not friendly but not unfriendly. The breakfast was mediocre. Not bad for the price. The room was clean.

Overall I would rate this hotel as average to slightly below average. But for the price, I would stay again and would recommend.

i thought the room was fine ...clean and up to date......the beds were comfortable and plenty of space to walk around . the bathroom is small but what do you expect from this hotel . towels were big and very white. the problem i had with this hotel is the breakfast. i thought the breakfast was terrible. i even skipped breakfast and went around the corner […] to find better. no fruit and the choices were terrible. i rather a hotel give no breakfast then the breakfast they offer and think is great. i'm not fancy but the breakfast was terrible. The room was modern and clean. There were plenty of TV channels to surf. It was convenient to restaurants and not too far from Thurmont where we wanted to visit.

We found that our room had bed bugs. After notifying management, all they would do is give us another room instead of our money back. This is bad business and I would not recommend this hotel.

Hotel was clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly. A great deal for the money.

This Econo Lodge in Hagerstown is extremely well kept, with a friendly staff and a kick-butt continental breakfast. Rooms are well appointed and very clean; bathroom and vanity area in our room had obviously been remodeled recently and was very nice. Other than not having "USA Today" available on Monday morning, this very reasonably-priced hotel ranks […] up there with some of the "big boys" I've stayed in! Mehr

My daughters and I were in town for an overnite stay and were very pleased with all that Econlodge had to offer for the price.I would reccomend it to anyone!

For being an 'economy' hotel, the beds were great - comparable to higher priced hotels. However, needed another pillow option. the pillows were too soft.

Hotel appeared to be populated by an assortment of unsavory characters. I only felt comfortable because I had my dogs with me. They claimed to be 'pet friendly' but charged extra for my two dogs, and the manager was very rude when I took the dogs to do their business in a grassy area near the entrance. He directed me to another area near traffic. Room […] was noisy. Wouldn't stay there again. Mehr

The elevator smelled like smoke, and the WIFI was horrible I couldn't get the work done that I needed to do because of low or no connectivity......

Everything was great--great people, great recommendations, great time! Thank you to all of the kind hearts who work here--you made our stay. For the price, this was just what we were looking for...and yum, the waffles.

Room was dirty and the toilet would not flush. They did not have another room to switch me to. Did not fix it until I left!!

The staff was extremely pleasant during this stay. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. All in all, not a bad place and quite reasonably priced. The only negative aspect was that although I did request a smoking room, the hallway was stifling with the smell of smoke.

It appears the hotel is undergoing a renovation. The lobby was quite nice. In our room it appeared the bath fixtures were new but the room needed painting and the furniture quite old. There was a fridge and microwave. We stayed two nights and overall were satisfied. The location is very good.

Bldg seemed to be right on top of a busy road, could hear the cars/semi's buzzing by all night. Also doing some kindof construction work in the Hotel until 10pm. Overall, get what you paid for. We stayed here on our way back from S.C. Not a bad place for a night or 2.
