Das Hotel Arc La Rambla ist wirklich an der Rambla und durch das der Ideale Ort. Mein Zimmer war sehr grosszügig. Das Personal sehr freundliche und sie sprachen auch die gängigen Sprachen. Das hat man nicht überall. Ich buche wieder in diesem Hotel bei meinem nächsten Barcelona Aufenthalt und der kommt bald.

Im allgemeinen war der Hotelservice gut, nur beim Frühstück hatten wir leichte Probleme. Die Auswahl der Speisen war recht beschränkt und das Abräumen des gebrauchten Geschirrs geschah recht langsam. Auch sauberes Besteck war eher rar. Alles andere am Hotel empfehlenswert.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral.

Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Rambla. Unser Zimmer hatte ein Fenster gegen einen sehr kleinen Innenhof. Von dem her ruhig aber sehr dunkel. Im Zimmer hatten wir kein Tisch.

Die Zimmer sind sehr klein, rudimentär eingerichtet (z.B. ohne ein Bild an der Wand) Ich hatte ein Zimmer ohne Fenster, nur vom Bad in einen Schacht, und dazu sind die Zimmer teuer.

Das Zimmer ist aussergewöhnlich klein - ein begehbarer Schrank wäre da wohl ein guter Vergleich - und der Zustand ziemlich veraltet, trotzdem aber sauber

sauber gepflegtes und modernes Hotel, direkt an der Ramblas in Barcelona. Person ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, Reception ist immer besetzt. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist sensationell, gute Auswahl an verschiedenen Produkten!

Everything with our stay was absolutley wonderful except the hotel was still on "winter room temperature control" meaning we could not control individual room temps unless we opened windows which then allowed some noise and unpleasant smells to enter. The hotel is located on the Ramblas and there´s a subway station really close; but the beds are terrible, the shower too, no comfort at all;

This hotel location is perfect. Right in the heart of the action, can walk to many places you want to see. The hotel was clean, the walls to one side of our room was paper thin and we had giggling girls next door so little hard to sleep until they calmed down, beds were OK, the room was not fancy but met our needs because we were not in the rooms that […] much. We stayed 3 nights before we boarded a cruise and at night we walked around and didn't have to get far from hotel to do and see things. felt safe coming in after dark. We didn't eat the breakfast, didn't seem like there was a lot of choice for the money but we didn't really find anything else we wanted to eat so just waited until later in the morning to eat. The Hotel is on La Rambla, a short walk from the Metro stop Dressanes and only minutes from the marina. The hotel rooms are small and very simply furnished. It is clean. They do use very strong smelling cleaning / air freshener. There were fresh towels and clean bed linnen. They supply schampoo and soap and clean the room every day. The bathroom did […] not have any space to put your toiletries. We found the area (and the clientel attracted to the erotic peep show next door) got a bit noisy at night. In hindsight we would have prefered to stay in other parts of town. As long as you're near a Metro or bus stop it is quick and easy to get anywhere in Barcelona. There was an additional charge for breakfast but we found cheaper options conveniently located around town. If you are travelling with a tight budget in mind and want to be loacated right on the La Rambla, this could be an ideal hotel for you. Mehr

Hotel is right on La Ramblas and is provides easy access to the cruise ship docks and to the hop on - hop off buses. It is a little pricey for the quality on weekends and during special events due to its location, but all in all it is very conveniently located and allows one to experience the La Ramblas venue just by walking.

This was our first time to Barcelona and the hotel was great, it was close to the marina and to the underground station. Room was a bit small, with the bathroom quite big. As we were there only 4 days it was sufficient. Friends of ours also stayed there on the otherside of the hotel, they could hear a lot of noise at night time due to the bar/nightclub […] next door. Overall hotel was clean, receptionists were very helpful and could understand and speak English which helped up a lot, free wifi, would stay again if only a few days. Mehr

The rooms were a bit austere, but the warmth and friendliness of the staff more than compensated. They helped us with a major problem. Location is very central. All in all, good value for the money. We enjoyed the sun roof.

Fourth or fifth time we have stayed here. This time we were upgraded without addditional cost to a superior room with balcony. Staff very helpful and all speak good English. Excellent location on the Ramblas, and very handy for exploring the Gothic Quarter. Will stay there again next time we visit Barcelona, Rooms very reasonably priced.

Our hotel room had a view of a drain pipe and was very dark. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly but the room was a let down

location at the end of Las Ramblas is amazing walking distance to the waterfront and surrounding areas. Hotel is clean, modern and well kept. Stayed there twice on this trip for a total of 4 nights. The first 3 nights we were in a room with a heater that did not function very well and the room was cold most of the time for 3 days. Also one of the two twin beds was really hard and had loose springs that stuck in your back so had to sleep on the sofa. The second stay was for 1 night and there […] was no way to control heat in the room as the thermostat did not work so again the room was cold all night. The location is great as it is right on Las Ramblas and it is easy to get to most of the Barcelona tourist attractions from the hotel. The Tapas restaurant accessible from the hotel lobby will not accept credit cards for charges less than 20 Euros so we only patronized it on two occasions - once for a beer and once to eat breakfast which was over $25 and not very good - bacon was very stringy and eggs tasted funny - possibly cooked in old oil. Would not eat at this restaurant again as Burger King is right across the street, McDonalds is about two block up Las Ramblas, and there are plenty of other restaurants on Las Ramblas with decent food. Exelent location and professional service.

We stayed five nights over New Year. Hotel location is superb for transport links and proximity to the many tourist highlights of the city, being right on La Rambla. Rooms are rather basic, with limited storage, dim lighting, no mirror in bedroom (only in bathroom), marble tiled floor with no rugs, so cold and not very inviting in mid-winter. Front […] facing rooms, overlooking La Rambla are noisy until late into the night (3am+) and after the revellets have dispersed, the street cleaners get going! Breakfast is buffet style with choice of cereals, tnned fruit, breads, croissants, cold meat and cheese. There is also sausage and undercooked bacon in a hot cupboard. Coffee and tea are self service and unlimited. The charge during our stay was €10 per person daily unless you stayed for more than 2 days, then it was reduced to €8.50 daily. Staff were friendly and spoke good English. We've stayed in far better hotels for much less and at peak times. Mehr

I guess I thought 3 stars would provide a much better facility than what it actually was. This hotel was so bare bones...not worth it for the money charged. The rooms were not sound proof to the outside street noisy at all. You could hear in clear detail conversations happening on the street several floors below. Made it difficult to sleep with loud […] partying going on in the streets. A bit of positive feedback, the room was clean and located it a good central location. Mehr

only downside was that the bed had an extremely hard mattress. reception staff were great and it was good value for money

We enjoyed our stay very much...the room was clean and quiet and the location was perfect.

Loved this hotel. Booked at last minute due to flight changes. Relied on hotel.com reviews. Great location,great staff. Room was very nice. Not very big, but none are in Europe. Front desk gal even borrowed me 4 euro for my bus pass! Awesome.

We walked easily to cruise bus at Colombus Monument..Good location for all Al Rambls Street has to offer. Room was small but bathroom large and excellent. Close to Metro stations and tour buses. Overall, we'd stay there again. Breakfasts were good.

I will repeat this Hotel in my next visit to Barcelona.

This hotel has it all except the worst beds that we have ever slept in. I woke up in the middle of the night and one side of my body was completely numb. The springs from the mattress (no box spring) we pushing into your body.

This hotel is way over priced. It was clean & close to the action on Las Ramblas. however for the US Traveler, it was equal to a Motel 6, or Red Roof Inn. The bed was extremly hard, the air conditioning did not work ( nor would they fix it, stating that it was the same throughout the hotel ). Great location in the heart of Las Ramblas. Steps away from everything. Hotel is great and the staff is very accommodating. There is a bar/cafe on the ground floor which is nice and relatively inexpensive. The only thing I didn't like about this hotel, is that the shower is only encased by a small glass barrier. Third time we have stayed there for a one or two night stay. Perfectly adequate for our needs. Staff friendly, location superb for Ramblas and Gothic Quarter

This hotel is right on the very happenin' La Rambla and just minutes from Placa Reial, one of the best squares in Barcelona, and near a fantastic market. The hotel is nice, clean and very basic (e.g., there are no bellman, so we had to store our bags in lockers -- 2 Euros -- until our room was ready), but the price was way below other hotels with less […] desirable locations. First time in Barcelona, so central location was a must. Arc La Rambla was in a good location, & taking a room with a balcony was well worth the extra cost. This was a no frills hotel, however offered good value and the hotel staff were friendly. Overall we were very pleased with our choice, no problems, no issues, just a great time.

This was an absolute breath of fresh air! I was a little bit nervous since I did not know what to expect, but was 100% pleasantly surprised. It's a basic hotel, but in the best best best location!!! The price was decent, I guess. It's a 3 star hotel but you're paying for location...the long fun street of la rambla. Wasn't able to check in earlier than 2pm but it's ok because they have large lockers for cheap. The staff is very friendly and provide free water bottles at the front. They have free wi-fi and a breakfast buffet for a very decent price. The […] room was ok. We got the basic room. The shower is tiny but that's fine for me just as long as it was clean and it was. The only problem was that our window opened to a laundry room. We didn't stay in the hotel long, just to sleep. Located perfectly close to La Rambla, metro and busses. Rooms where quiet although when you walk out of the hotel, you are in the middle of the activities in La Rambla. The room was clean with all the necessary facilities for a comfortable short stay.
