The room had a king bed. The bed was facing south. The TV was on the west wall beside the bed. We ended up sleeping on the bed side ways so we could relax and watch TV in the evening. We had a nice room - bed was comfortable, room itself was spacious. Had to move the desk with the TV on it so that it could be viewed from the spa tub. Light above the bathroom sink needed to be replaced. Quiet location and nice neighborhood. Overall a nice hotel - I'd go back.

We've stayed here several times and it's our favorite hotel for the price, comfort and location. The hotel is excellently located, with easy access to food, fuel and a Walmart for that late-night discovery of a missing toothbrush.... Coralville Mall is less than a mile away and offers nice shopping opportunities. The hotel is always pleasant, the staff […] cheerful and helpful. It's a quiet stay, with little traffic noise despite the nearby interstate. Rarely do we hear noise from other rooms or people in the hallways unless they're especially rambunctious. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. We often need to make trips through Iowa City and will definitely be staying here again. Mehr

It was a dark a stormy night but we found a very comfortable room, warm and cozy for our stressed and tired bodies. We were also welcomed with a warm breakfast of bisquits and gravy, breads, waffles, and hot coffee, fruit, cereal and all the amenities to start us on our way. Thanks for being there.

"AmericInn Coralville - comfortable and convenient"
Needed a place to stay on a long road trip; found accommodations comfortable and close to interstate. If you are looking for a place to eat but aren't intrigued by the chain restaurants next to the hotel, try Mondo's Sports Cafe. (Off the beaten path just a bit, but a good local joint.)

We stayed there as a family for christmas, but were disappointed that the hot tub heater wasn't working. We had planned on spending a large part of our evening in the swimming pool area and were not able to do that's because of the cold water. "An affordable, comfy place for passing through"
We had a brief stay in Iowa City on your way to CO but we greatly enjoyed the stay, complete with a dip in the pool, cozy room and breakfast.

"Exactly What I Expected From Americinn"
We needed a room for a one night stay. This location was close to the Interstate, Food and even a Walgreens across the street. Rooms were a little above average in decor and cleanliness. We would stay here again if we were in town.
"Uncomfortable"
I understand that this is not a swanky hotel, but the sheets were so thin that you literally see through them. The blankets were not much thicker and I was cold all night and did not sleep well. There are plenty of other options in the area that I would not go back.
It was an excellent location to do a little shopping and only 10 minutes from the hospital. We will stay there again when we have to go back.

I checked into the hotel, exhausted from a full day of business travel. No mention was made that I was being given the handicap access room. An "executive room" is what I paid for. The room had a HORRIBLE smell of Urine. I spelt on top of all of the bedding, for fear that it was the mattress. I was too exhausted to complain or switch rooms. You got what you paid for. The breakfast was not very good. But, the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was not the best. Needs updating.

The hotel was not kept up very well. It may have been nice at one point, but the walls were chipped and some of the wood paneling was coming off. The staff weren't overly friendly or helplful either.

The room was pretty nice and a good size. The A/C unit didn't work very well, but we didn't need it much. The breakfast was not good. Overall it worked well for the one night we needed it.

Right off the interstate by the Coralville Mall. The first room the toilet was running all the time and the front desk was very accomodating and gave me a new room.

This hotel is just ok.. Close to where we need to be, shopping and food. Room was quiet, but sheets were dirty. Found bugs in the sheets and in the shower.. I won't be staying here again.

The location was easy to get to and near the malls and stores but the smell of old, musty hotel I could do without. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was available. The comforter was paper thin, air conditioner barely worked.

The AmericInn Coralville is easily accessible from I-80. Convenient to a nice mall, and multiple other businesses, but not in a congested location. The room was clean and well-maintained, staff was supportive and friendly. The rooms have very good noise-dampening so that hall and adjacent room noise is minimal. Excellent for a quiet stay.
