Club Quarters, Wall Street - New York

Leider, trotz des recht hohen Preises, sind die Zimmer winzig und ziemlich abgewohnt. Was normalerweise ein Einzelbett in jedem einfachen Hotel in USA ist, wird einem in diesem Hotel als Doppelbett zugemutet. Kein Safe im Zimmer Die Möbel sind teilweise aus den Fugen.

Das Hotel hat eine SUPER Lage, direkt Ecke Wall Street. Der Check-In Automat ist gewöhnungsbedürftig; gut ist der kostenlose WIFI Zugang, und die Business Ecke im Hotel, sowie die Wasserspender in allen Etagen

- Es wurden beim Chek in, ohne vorher informiert zu werden ein Betrag von 310 Dollar von der Kreditkarte als Kaution abgebucht. + Die Ausstattung der Zimmern sind total OK weiters auch positiv zu erwähnen sind zusätzlich die Waschmaschine, Wäschetrockner, Fitness Raum, Lobby mit Tee u. Kaffee zur freien Verfügung sowie das Hotel eigene Restaurant. mit […] einer beachtlichen Speise Karte. + Die Nähe zur Wallstreet sowie zu den Express Subways der Linien 2 u. 3 mit denen man zb. den Time Squere in 10 min. erreichen kann sollte auch positiv erwähnt werden. + Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. This hotel is a really convenient one, the location is excellent, pretty close to Wall St. subway station and a 24hrs CVS where you'll find anything you need. The checking was super fast, the most efficient I've ever seen, in less than 5 min after entering the hotel we we're at our room. The room was neat and pretty clean, really confortable. My husband and I were in town for a wedding, and it was very convenient. The room was small, but it was very clean and the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is great because it is less than a block away from the 2,3 train. Rates seem to be cheaper there on the weekends b/c most of their customers are businesspeople who stay in […] the Financial District during the week. The attached restaurant was also good, but pricey. We recommend trying one of the pubs on Stone Street a few blocks away, like Beckett's. This place is tops if you like lound noise all night long. Garbage pickup is from 11pm til midnight - that was my favorite. Can't forget all the horn honking and cars with very loud "mufflers" zipping by at 3am. Lost a lot of sleep. If you are unfortunate enough to book this place, you may want to insist on having a room above the 3rd floor. White noise […] generator was not enough. Other than the constant noise, the hotel was fine. Kind of a weird thing where you have to check yourself in with a credit card though. Mehr

We were satisfied with our hotel experience overall. Arrived very late--1:00 a.m.--and received very courteous service at the front desk. Room was clean and medium-sized with a comfortable bed and lots of convenient power outlets for charging phones, etc. The remote control for the TV was missing, and a call down to the front desk, at 1:20 a.m., didn't […] yield a replacement, but we were busy sleeping anyway. Room was clean and they made really good use of a small NY space. Right next to a subway station and walking distance to main financial district attractions.

I loved the Club Quarters. I will be staying there again.

The hotel location is good, it is relatively quiet and convenience is great. In terms of cons, the beds are not very comfortable and there are no drapes (just horizontal blinds) so it is difficult to keep light out of the room. The gym is small and in need newer equipment. Club Quarters at the WTC has better amenities but the location is not so great. […] Would not take too much to improve this hotel. I have stayed several times as my company has an account with CQ but I will not stay again unless stuck or until I hear of improvements. Mehr

It is clear that the folks who are in charge of designing the Club Quarters know what people need and what is optional. I have stayed in 3 different CQs by now and the experience has always been positive. The use of space is efficient (small but not too small) and the layout is well considered, down to the angled toilet (so it's not too close to the […] wall when you sit down). There is a hospitality closet on every floor where you can easily retrieve an iron and ironing board or an extra shower cap, etc. I also really appreciate the feature that they have of offering free bottles and filtered water machines that allow you to refill your bottle. Finally, they are always reasonably priced – evidence that the savings they make in their use of space is passed on to the customer. This particular location was a bonus in that it was located just around the corner from the 4 train, making for a nice last stop after having traipsed all through the city during the day. The location is walkable to Battery Park, which is also a lovely spot to view the water. All in all, I highly recommend! Mehr

The Wall Street Club Quarters is nicely located close to many subway stations, allowing you to reach most major tourist attractions with minimal commute. The hotel itself is structurally old, and unfortunately, that brings limitations to those who are technologically inclined (limited free power sockets, no Ethernet port, small TV screen), but the […] management has done an amazing job in the overall appearance of the rooms and all other facilities. The hotel is right in the CBD and conveniently located less than 1 min to the subway (by taxi, it's at least a 10mins ride to Madison Sq Garden w/o traffic). The surrounding area is busy during the daytime but very quiet at night (would not recommend if you tend to return to the hotel at night). Also beware, there are few after dark dining options. […] The hotel itself is pretty nice, but don't even think of sleeping on the sofa bed - you literally sleep on the springs as the mattress is almost non-existent - I would have booked separate rooms if I had known this earlier. Absolutely great, location, facilities. Only used an extra bed that was way bellow standard, otherwise, excellent hotel.

Very nice, if slightly impersonal, hotel. Extremely convenient for the Wall Street/World Trade Center/Battery section of New York. Small, but well designed bathrooms; large, comfortable rooms; small, but well designed armoire. Very quiet. Great elevators! Very close (same block,actually) to subway entrance.

Club Quarters is in a fantastic if not charming location. It is a small no frills hotel that doesn't claim to be much and delivers much more. Clean, comfortable, friendly with tiny rooms. But if you're spending a lot of time in a hotel room in NYC then you've probably missed the point. Highly recommend this hotel of you want to be near Wall street […] . Mehr

If you want the Financial District, this is the place to stay!!

Great location for lower sights, close to subway. Only complaint would be shower takes 10 minutes to warm up but it does eventually

I used to live in the area which is why I chose this hotel. Very close to subways that go either the east side or west side of NYC. Close to downtown monuments (9-11 Memorial, Statue of LIberty, Wall Street, Brooklyn Bridge)....staying in finanical district is way better than staying mid town or Times Ssquare, so close to Canal St / Chinatown / Soho […] / West Village.....would recommend this hotel and the area to anyone!! The hotel is in an amazing location and the staff at the front desk are welcoming and pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable and the price was very reasonable. I had a great time staying there I will be back shortly.

Club Quarters are excellent for staying in happening cities. Rooms are small, but comfortable, and their location is excellent. Efficient, clean and easy.

Clerk at front desk pointed us to a self service check in atm machine even though no one in line. Then he had to check me in himself via the kiosk as you need a number only he has. Stupid. Then when in my room, maintenance guy barely knocks on door and comes right into room! Never even gave me a chance to say go away. Rude. Bed was just a disaster. […] Totally hard and very uncomfortable. Spend $40 more and stay at nearby Marriott. Mehr

This hotel is great for the frequent NYC traveler. Check-in took 90 seconds with the kiosks, although there is a desk with helpful staff. Self service filtered water, extra pillows and towels, etc; free wi-fi, gym equipment delivered to your room, and more made the stay convenient and enjoyable, and there were no hassles while in the hotel, leaving […] more time to get out and have fun in NYC. Room was very reasonably priced yet clean and comfortable. Located in the Financial District so at night its very quiet but conveniently located to the train or subway. I would stay there again next time I visit NYC.

Had an overnight trip to NYC, needed something convenient to subway, comfortable, clean and cheep. This was a pleasant surprise, especially st the price in Manhattan! Only downside was the girl at check in who had a dramatic up-sell attempt to try to get us a suite. She even went as far as to guarantee we'd hate the room! Then why are we staying here […] at all? The upgrade should be automatic! There was nothing wrong w the room- yes a bit small for US hotels, but I'm used to tiny rooms in Europe and had no complaints. Mehr

We stayed here for a wedding at the South Street Seaport. The location was great and it was easy to walk to Battery Park, the 9-11 memorial and the wedding. The rooms were nice and clean. The only negatives were that the walls were pretty thin and the water pressure in the showers vacillated. But a nice hotel for the price.
