Wer den Bettenburgen in Playa del Carmen entfliehen will ist hier richtig. Hotelgröße ist genau richtig, die Mitarbeiter alle sehr nett und die Lage wirklich unschlagbar. In einer Minute auf der Shopping- und Ausgehmeile, ein einer Mintute am Strand... Ich war mit einer Freundin da und kann es nur empfehlen!

Das Hotel ist etwas Besonderes, da es nur kleiner Bungalows sind. sehr schön in einer Gartenlandschaft. Die Zimmer sind aber etwas abgewohnt, aber voll funktionstüchtig. Manche Bereiche der Anlage werden renoviert, was aber gar nicht stört. Was mich gestört hat, ist dass das mehr nach Schwefelwasserstoff gerochen hat und das fast nur im Hotelbereich. Die Rezeption konnte da auch nichts machen. Für einen solch hohen Preis erwarte ich mehr.

sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis,sehr schöne Zimmer,ruhige Lage, gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Zum Zentrum benötigt man ein Taxi oder Mietwagen. Zum Strand kann man laufen ca.10 min.,muss man sich aber erklären lassen( über den Golfplatz).

Das Petit Lafitte ist mehr als nur zu empfehlen. Es ist ein kleines Hotel, das familiär geführt wird. Die ganze Organisation wird von zwei Familien übernommen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit bei allen Angelegenheiten. Wir hatten einen Bungalow gebucht, der nur ein paar Meter vom direkt am Hotel grenzenden Strand gelegen war. Zum Einschlafen kann man das Meer rauschen hören. Dank Ventilator und Klimaanlage waren die Temperaturen kein Problem. Die Küche hat einen super Job gemacht, morgens gab es frisches Obst, Säfte, Kaffee oder Tee - und man konnte sich etwas leckeres von der Karte aussuchen. Abens gab es ein vier Gänge Menü. Das Hotel liegt ein wenig von der Trubelgegend in Playa del Carmen entfernt - man kann sich also sehr gut entspannen. Eigentlich kann ich über dieses Hotel gar nichts negatives sagen. Es war für uns einfach das Paradies.

"We love Park Royal in Cozumel"
Great place for families. Very safe and clean place- wonderful area to snorkel. Food and drinks are good. Staff is friendly. We have stayed here many times and are never disappointed.

Nice property. Good food, clean, well appointed rooms and immaculately groomed grounds. Wasn't prepared for the large number of families with toddlers. Alcohol watered down, too. Overall, a pleasant stay at a nice property.

The staff was friendly and helpful. But, we expected two queen size beds in our room and got two twins which is the only option we were told. When we requested roll away beds for our two kids,they had none! "Fifth time to stay"
This was our 5th time to stay at the Park Royal and Hurricane Wilma which destroyed a lot of the age grounds sparked a very positive refurbish. Except for the beds being too hard for our tastes and the music by the pool and in the Sports Bar being too loud, we had a great time. The condition of the resort was very nice, the beach, pools, bars and restaurants […] were excellent and the food was the best we have had at any all inclusive we have stay at. "Cool resort hotel"
This is a cool resort hotel on Cozumel. Has a very tropical and outdoor feel to it- from the rock paved walkways, palm and coconut trees everywhere, to the tiki-type huts. All-inclusive is the way to go for value. Food and drinks were good to very good. Buffet was decent and the Italian and Mexican restaurants were very good. They do a great job keeping […] the property meticulously clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Its also very close to the downtown area and attractions, via taxi or walking. My only cons- The beach area is very small and cruise ships obscure your view most of the time. Can't order alcoholic drinks/beer in the buffet area. Had to order from a bar and bring it in. The beds are rock hard and pretty uncomfortable. Took some getting used to. I recommend asking for a higher room/floor ahead of time or you'll be stuck with no view or road noise like I was. I was there for Ironman Cozumel so sleep was important leading up to the race. Overall a good experience and I recommend it. Mehr

"GOOD LOCATION-GOOD FOR THE MONEY"
GOOD SERVICE
The Park Royal in Cozumel was wonderful in comparison to others in Mexico. The location was good, the inclusive food and drinks were excelent and the service was adequate. Cleanliness was incredible so there were no bugs. This is a great hotel for families. There is entertainment each night which is fair to good but it is not professional. The three […] swimming pools are good and there is good snorkling right from the beach. There are generally 2-3 cruise ships parked in front of the hotel everyday but they are amazing to see. The paved walkways are somewhat rough and would be difficult for older people. This is a time share hotel and you will get a lower level room with little view although all rooms are ocean front. As a time share hotel, you will be asked to attend a presentation on the plan and if you do, you can get 20-30% off most of your excursions. Cozumel is a small island that thrives on tourism, especially from cruise ship passengers. There is nothing cheap here except maybe tecquilla. Mehr
"Park Royal -- a fantastic all-inclusive experience"
This was our first experience with an all-inclusive package. We were VERY pleased. The hotel staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Grounds were immaculately maintained (the beach area was raked by hand every night and the surfaces around the pool power washed). We are scuba divers and used the Aquaworld dive shop -- essentially onsite at Park Royal. […] We ate every meal at the buffet which had nice variety and a different theme each night. The food wasn't gourmet, but it was very good. We have one recommendation. We were there during the busy time of spring break. On the first day, it was difficult to find a chair on the beach (or anywhere for that matter). The problem was easily solved on all the rest of the days by making a quick run down to the beach around 6am to put our towels on a few chairs. Not a problem. We would recommend the Park Royal! Mehr
Our stay at the Park Royal was over all good, but we did have a couple of hiccups. I'm a student in law school, so while I was in Cozumel I had to complete a couple of assignments that required internet access. Unfortunately, the wireless internet was not work during my stay and there were only 4 computer for a resort filled with 400 or more people. […] It was hard to get on a computer, and once you had, there were always people waiting in line for you to get off. If they just fixed their wireless it would make it so much easier. Also, during my stay both my wallet and a sweater were lost or stolen when I briefly left them alone. While the staff took a report on both, they were not very helpful in finding them and they made it extremely difficult for me to call out to the USA to cancel the credit card that was in the wallet. Other than those two issues...the staff was generally friendly, the food was pretty good (but best at the Italian restaurant), and the access to the beach was nice as compared to other all-inclusive resorts in the same price range. Had a really good time, relaxing atmosphere, love the Island, great jewellry shopping, Park Royal good place to stay, had no problems what so ever, I have visited in the past numerous times, this is my favorite place in mexico . I found no criminal activity anywhere but of course you have to be very aware of what your doing. "Great family all inclusive resort"
We were pleased with every aspect of this property. I rated the "comfort of the guest rooms" lower b/c the beds are like sleeping on plywood. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. The friendliness of the staff is overwhelming! did have an opportunity to explore the restaurants on site.. just the main 3 meal " buffet" restaurant and was pleased […] with it. Wonderful with kiddos... .wonderful for the family! We'll be back, Park Royal! Mehr
"NOT for BUSINESS travelers"
I was there on business and there is NO internet access in room and very poor (ie not functional) connection in lobby. NOT a hotel for business travelers. Also, the beds are uncomfortable, no clock in room, limited TV channels, poor bathroom amenities (bar soap and awful shampoo), lots of mosquitoes, smells like bleach and ammonia, and at the buffet […] and in lobby you see many flies. It is also noisy at the hotel pool (LOUD obnoxious music) and at nightly LOUD shows. The margaritas are good, thankfully, otherwise NO thanks, this place is not for me. Mehr
"Just What We Were Looking For"
This was our first all-inclusive experience, so we don't have another all-inclusive to compare the Park Royal to. That being said, we have stayed at many different hotels in many different places and this one is near the top. The staff was pleasant from check-in to check-out and they worked very, very hard to make everyone happy. The entertainment staff […] knew many of the kids by name and anytime we needed something, it was taken care of quickly. Since we traveled with young kids, we were not able to eat at the Italian or Mexican restaurants, but the buffet was very good. Some nights at the buffet were better than others since they had theme nights, so it all depends what your preferences are. I think that no matter what the night, everyone could find something that they liked to eat. We also ate quite a bit from the snack bars and we could all find something we liked there. The pools were cold, but on a warm day it felt good anyway. The beach was small, but clean. The ocean was rocky, but you could see fish just a few feet out and walk out pretty far and only be waist deep. The rooms was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The only downsides for us were no bathtub for the kids and our a/c wasn't working 1 day. After we called, they came within 10 minutes and had it fixed within 2 hours. We shopped at the cruiseship terminal across the street, even though it was only supposed to be for cruiseship people and found some great deals there. It is a little ways from town, but an easy taxi ride down the street. I would absolutely recommend the Park Royal to anyone, especially families and groups who want to stay around the hotel and relax. Mehr
"Great room, great beach even good food for Mexico!!"
We have been to this resort two times now and I would always go back to this resort. The location is perfect with your own little beach with great snorkeling so you don't even have to leave. You can also take scuba diving lessons right there and the instructor was very good and the waters were beautiful. You are close to downtown without being right […] in it. The other hotels are farther away from downtown in the middle of nowhere. The restaurants are all good but I think the buffet food was the best and they always had different themes and food everynight. The service is excellent. The grounds are landscaped beautiful with peacocks walking around. The pools are the best especially the infinity pools on the beach. The activities during the day are fun and the shows at night are pretty good as well. The resort is kid friendly. The rooms are pretty basic but everything outside is so nice you don't want to be in your room. The rooms are very clean. All of the rooms are oceanfront but if you want a good view you have to be on at least the 5th floor or higher. This resort is not super fancy with robes and whatnots but if you want a nice clean friendly and fun place to stay this is where I would stay. You will love Cozumel it is beautiful. Mehr
"Great Hotel for the Money"
I really liked this hotel and the staff was very good. The hotel grounds were very well kept up and was very tropical. The ala carte restaurant had a good selection of food daily with nice dining area. The pools were nice also. The activities staff was very good as well....always made things fun for me and my two kids (10 & 17). I had a great time playing […] volleyball with some hotel guests as well as some of the hotel staff. The only downside was that the sand over the volleyball court was too shallow and there was rock below and I banged my knees up good several times. I stayed there in late August and I know they have already added more sand to the courts so the problem has been corrected. Overall this is a great hotel for the money and I would recommend it. Mehr

My husband and I spent 8 days at the Park Royal. We were amazed at the cleanliness of the property! The staff was constantly maintaining the property. The food quality was decent for an all-inclusive resort. The wait staff was extremely attentive. The only negative comment I have is regarding the aggressive time share personnel. "Peacocks are loud :)"
Although the hotel was wonderful, the peacocks can be a little annoying at 6:15 in the morning. Hoping to sleep in a couple of the mornings we were there, the male peacock (very beautiful) decided that he was the official "rooster" each morning. Nonetheless, we just got an earlier start to our day and were able to enjoy more of the food, drinks, hotel, […] drinks, beach, drinks, pool, drinks, etc. We will certainly be back again. Mehr
"Great romm and atmosphere; not so great food"
Park Royal Cozumel has a lot going for it: The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable, and the pools and bars are great. The beach area is not much, except that the water is very clear, and you can see decent size fish in shoulder high water. The food, however, lets the place down. It is not tasty, repetitive, and cooked with too much inexpensive […] oil, which can lead to stomach issues. Still, it is a nice place to stay, with a very pleasant atmosphere. The hotel was amazing! I have been to Cozumel about 8 times and would stay there again. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The food was good. The pools and beach area were awesome! The rooms were cool and comfortable.

"Outstanding Value"
While the initial wait for the room to be ready was a bit tasking, 2 hours and 3 margarita's later, it was worth it! The staff was outstanding, always offering to help and always offered daily politeness. The food is abundant and the drinks are top notch! The private restaurants seemed tad over the top as far as reservations and timeliness. I highly […] suggest dining at Italiano's. Steer clear of the Mexican dining as they were not as friendly and the food was below par. The beds were firm and the blankets thin. I would have liked to have had an extra blanket. "Guest Services"
Having been overwhelmed by pushy/rude personnel attempting to "guide" you to airport transportation, we arrived at the hotel and just wanted to check in and retire to our room. We only had carry-on luggage, so we felt that there was no reason to use the bellman. Unfortunately, this was also the same person who would have activated the room safe for […] us. And it took nearly 45 minutes to get someone up to the room to do that for us. I'm not sure if they thought we were rude for not using the baggage help, and that was the reason for the slow service. Or, they might just have been that busy. Other than that incident, the staff/facilities/food/etc. was outstanding. Mehr

Ficamos muito satisfeitos com o Hotel em geral. Pessoas muito educadas e agradaveis que ajudavam a gente em tudo que necessitavamos. Foi nossa primeira vez usando o sistema All Inclusive e achamos muito legal.Bebidas e comidas a vontade o tempo todo.Muitos lugares proximo as piscinas para descanso e lazer. Hotellet är ett mycket prisvärt "all inclusive-hotell". Hög standard på rum, restauranger, poolområde mm. Perfekt både för den som vill slappa i solen och för den som gillar lekar, sport och olika aktiviteter. Bra mat, både i bufféer och i de två andra restaurangerna. Mycket goda hamburgare i pool-baren. Vi hade en fantastisk vecka och det enda negativa […] jag uppfattade var att vår son önskade glass vilket inte fanns. Möjligen kan man tycka att WiFi borde ingå också. Nu kostade det extra. Mehr

En general muy bien. Sin embargo hubo detalles como que nos cobraron 2usd por la caja fuerte. Por otro lado la comida de uno de los restaurantes no estuvo muy buena y uff el hotel esta muy lejos de la ciudad.

We where a bit sceptical to "all inclusive" but was very positive surpriced. One mexican and one Italian evening restuarang with very good food and very descent wines.
