Zimmer mit zwei Betten leider nur als Raucherzimmer bekommen. Das war sehr unangenehm und konnte auch nicht die Klimaanlage ausgleichen. Fenster liessen sich alle nicht öffnen.

"convenient, but loud unchaparoned kids kept us up"
The room was nice for the price- clean, comfortable bed, in-room coffee maker had good coffee. BUT- a team of kids in town for a Sunday soccer meet arranged to be un-chaperoned on our wing and would not shut up til 1:30am. The night clerk came up to ask them to be quiet, but it did not help. I think the hotel will make sure chaperones stay with the […] kids in the rooms next time, but it won't hurt for you to ask about who else is staying on your floor anyway. "Nice - but not great!"
Upon checking in, the desk employee "made faces" when seeing our reservation on his computer. I joked with him and said "that's not a good face for the public". He replied "you booked this at a lower rate".....I did not say anything. But thought it was in poor taste for his response to our reservation. Also, there was no light above the sink/coffee […] area either day. We reported the coffee pot and dryer were not working - due to the electrical completely being "out". Hopefully this has been repaired by now. There was a good assortment of breakfast items. I would appreciate a final bill from Hotels.Com. Mehr

"Perfect Location"
The Jameson hotel was perfect for our needs. We were attending a Tiger's spring training game and the location off of the interstate and closeness to ballpark was perfect. There were a couple restaurants within a short walk from hotel. However, one of the staff directed us to "Texas Cattle Company" restaurant and we were amazed! Would strongly recommend. Very nice stay. Inn had everything we needed, including a good selection from the continental breakfast bar. Cracker Barrel is right next door if we wanted larger meals. Would stay again. Will recommend.

"Poor at best"
checked in and the manager was not friendly room was poor no shower curtin caled and told front dest and they said they would check on it the put more towels in the room while I was out to dinner . In the morning they say breakfast at 830 am no coffee no waffel mix this place need a new manager that cares

Was disappointed when there was no fridge in our room--the advance publicity I had indicated fridges and M/W in each room. When I discussed this with the nite clerk he pointed out that we had booked a std room which didn't come with a fridge.Not my understanding! There was mildew on the walls of the washroom. It seemed that there was a lack of staff […] and that the clerk had to perform a variety of duties which kept them away from the desk. The staff were, on the whole, very courteous Mehr
Non-smoking room means non-smoking not a room thats been smoked in and just sprayed with ozium.

Beautiful hotel. On the outside looks very stately. On the inside comfort. Our room was pretty and clean. The staff was wonderful and very helpful . The continental breakfast was awesome. There was a variety of foods to choose from and very tasty. We had a very pleasant stay.

Rooms were not very soundproof, one day we did not get any housecleaning because they said they were so busy doing checked-out rooms, never anyone at front desk when we phoned for some information, satelitte TV local channels were RARELY available. If they did come on, they were only available for 2 minutes. Very annoying when you wish to watch your […] favorite CBS TV program. The breakfast area lacked supply control. Had to keep asking for items when supplies were running low. Fitness center was good. Pool area good, however they did not clean pool of leaves after a brisk wind came through. Staff was very friendly, but I believe they can not handle a full occupancy. They need at least 2 people on the front desk alone, plus an extra person to look after the breakfast area in the morning. Otherwise hotel rate was a good value for the size of room. Would prefer to stay at large well know chain hotels/motel in future. Do not recommend staying at Jameson Inn, Lakeland. Mehr

Tv not working

I would have rated it a five if the TV was able to swivle so you could watch it from the chair. Even hard to see from the bed.

We had a dog and the stay was great. Very pet friendly. Walk to Apple Bees or Cracker Barrel!

I always stay here when I visit Florida... The service is always good. Plenty of good eateries closeby. Good free breakfast. Great value for money
Spend an extra 30 bucks and go to a decent place.....we got exactly what we paid for
"Best Stay"
I was so pleasantly surprised by my accumulation. The bed was the best hotel bed I have ever slept in, and it was probably one of the cleanest hotel rooms I've been in also. I had a little problem with the internet, which was resolved by their tech group. There was no microwave, or refrigerator as I anticipate, so I was a little disappointed with that. […] I would have said something on that, but it was a brief stay and I didn't need either. I am confident they would have fixed that if I had asked. All in All, a very enjoyable stay. Mehr

My Husband and i really enjoy staying @ The Jameson, its always comfortable and cozy and the staff are very pleasant and courteous,being a small Hotel is what we find most enjoyable

Overall stay was okay and the room clean. Although their was an Iron provided there was no Ironing board.

This hotel is more charming than average and for the money a great deal. To be accurate, there was a slight musty odor when first entering room, but then was not noticeable. The breakfast with fresh waffles can't be beat. I wish the weather had been better so we could have checked out the pool.

WE STAYED AT THE JAMESON FOR 6DAYS JUST RECENTLY. fOUND EVERYTHING GOOD. HOWEVER I REPORTED THAT THE HANDRAIL GOING INTO THE POOL WAS BROKEN 3 DAYS AFTER ARRIVING AND WHEN WE LEFT IT WAS STILL BROKEN . OTHER THAN THAT EVERYTHING WAS GOOD.APPLEBEE'S ACROSS THE ROAD HAVE SOME WONDERFUL DEALS. GOOD FITNESS ROOM

Hptel was very convenient on-off major thoro-fares, community feel as restaurants, other hotels etc. in park like setting. If I could have I would've bought the king size bed and pillows, the most comfortable I've EVER slept on, anywhere! Only downside was the pool, water was nice and warm but mosquitos were awful. I/we would stay again.

I am the pickiest person when it comes to beds and this hotel had the most comfortable bed ever. I slept so good each night we were there. Also the bathroom, small, but had the best shower pressure. The room was a little small but for the time we spent in there we were very comfortable. thestaff was very friendly.

The hotel was great. We were in town for a lacrosse tournament. The beds were very comfortable, the room was clean besides the dark carpet which showed off all the areas that weren't vacuum, and the burnt matches that were found in the bathroom....nontheless, this hotel was great!

We love this place. Stay here 2-3 times a year ( kid in college ). The staff is awesome! The hotel is great. Enjoy the hot free breakfast too. Location is perfect with good neighborhood surroundings. Luv it!

Great Value for the price. Convenient for my visit. They could use more staff at night or have the staff carry a company cell that ties into the front deck. They missed many calls while the desk clerk was away helping quest. "Clean and comfortable-Very nice staff"
All staff were very accomadating. We especially liked the fact that the room had a vanity outside of th bathroom, which speeds the "getting ready" process with 2 folks--even though I was still waiting, as usual, for her to put on those final make up touches! God love her.
The room was small. Good desk space for work. Bathroom was tiny but vanity was outside of bathroom which has some advantages when travelling with teenagers.

This hotel don't seem to want to satisfy their customers unless they get mad . I that shouldn't be the case.

This hotel is dirty, smells from the minute u walk in. There was a stain on the bed sheet. Employees dressed un proffesional.

"Jaminson Inn - Nice but needs updated rooms."
Overall it was a nice place however having the bathroom sink inside the room is not condusive so it offers no privacy. The bathroom was just the toilet and sink with barely enough room to turn around when you close the door and very poor ventilation. The room was clean however but they need updating - especially the carpet which was worn a bit and new […] TVs. Desk is crammed space as well with no writing instruments. Also there is no closet in the room - the dresser does contain a wardrobe however for hanging items. Be warned, maids come pretty early so if you sleep late they don't come back until the next day. For the cost it's a nice place, but if you're staying for for a number of days, I'd look elseware. Mehr
