"Jameson Inn Georgetown South Caroilina"
Relatively new Inn. Quick chech in & out. Very clean and quite room. Staff were very helpful answering questions about local resturants and history. Stay was pleasurable.

"Continental breakfast"
The small room with three small tables, was overcrowded, there was no OJ, and the person that was refilling all wasn't friendly at all. I thought the night time lady that help us at arrival, at around 1:30am was much much better than the morning person, there was two ladies in the morning a white lady very nice and a tall black lady that hardly answer […] when another guess ask a question. other than that I like the place since it was my first time in the area. "Ginger the Manager in Georgetown"
Ginger was so awesome. She even called the evening we arrived and asked if all was well. I have never had any one at a hotel do that before. Ginger was really professional and kind and wonderfull. Y'all are very lucky to have her as a manager.

"Going on the cheap..."
I'd consider this hotel inline with a Super 8 or other cheap hotel. My room key wouldn't work properly, the door didn't close all the way leaving it noisey, I hardly got any sleep, and everything inside the hotel is 15+ years old. The staff was very nice and friendly, but the hotel isn't worth what I paid. I decided to stay there after reading the other […] reviews over the hotel next door. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great either. The town overall has limited accommodation, and I'd recommend the local B&B instead. I will not be staying there again when I return. Mehr

"Jameson Inn at Georgetown, SC"
Located in historic Georgetown, SC with a gorgeous view of the marshland near the river especially at sunrise. Service at desk was prompt, professional, and yet with true Southern hospitality. "Needs to be updated."
This is basically a nice hotel, but it is showing its age. The room was average & they would not assign us a lower unit. My wife has trouble with stairs, and there were plently available. We reallly like Georgetown.
The Jameson Inn was adequate. The room was clean and reasonably comfortable. The breakfast was fair. The dining space was small and crowded. There was no ice in the ice machine. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very clean, nice rooms with a view of the piers. Only issue was that we were told all rooms on first floor were filled; however, that did not appear to be the case. We would definitely stay again.

The door locks were exteremely frustrating... very difficult to get into your room. Otherwise, the hotel was fine.

Hotels.com had this property listed at 4 1/2 stars. I would rate it 2 or 2 1/2 stars. As a result I feel we paid atleast $20.00 per night too much.
