Wer glaubt, zu einem günstigen Preis ein hochklassiges Hilton gebucht zu haben, wird sicher enttäuscht. Die Ausstattung des Hotels ist maximal mittlelmäßig, was aber für London schon etwas ist. Zwar wohnt man nicht in einer indischen Familie, wie man dies vor Jahren noch musste, weil man die Hotelpreise zu D-Mark-Zeiten nicht zahlen wollte, aber ein […] Ibis-Hotel in Deutschland hat dieselbe Ausstattung, zumindest was die Zimmer angeht. Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer ist so eine Sache. Es wird sicher jeden Tag geputzt, aber durch das Alter der Bäder sind die Fugen halt bereits stark vergilbt oder gar schwarz, da nützt auch das schärfste Putzmittel nicht. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung und dem Preis angemessen und die Bar lädt zum Absacker ein, wenn man abends heim kommt. Ich liebe den Stadtteil Bayswater und speziell den Queensway, weshalb das Hotel direkt an der Bayswater Road, Ecke Queensway super gelegen ist. Über die Buslinien auf der Bayswater Road kommt man prima in die Stadt und zurück, auch nachts. Fährt man zwei Stationen stadtauswärts, kommt man schnell zur Portobello Road, wo ich bereits zig mal den Markt auf und ab gelaufen bin. Fazit also: Hotel liegt perfekt in der Stadt, Bar und Frühstück sind gut, Preis geht sicher in Ordnung, Zimmer könnten mal renoviert werden. Mehr

Das Zimmer war zwar etwas klein, aber der schöne Ausblick auf den Hyde Park machte das wieder wett. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und das Personal absolut freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Diese Aussage muss differenziert werden! In unserer Beurteilung messen wir das erlebte am Namen Hilton und am Preis, sowie den vergebenen Sternen. Im Weiteren möchte ich erwähnen, dass ich bereits 6 x in London war und die Verhältnisse kenne. Für das was wir unter dem Namen "Hilton" und gemessen am Preis erwartet hätten, war es eine grosse Enttäuschung! […] Das Hotel ist sehr alt und an vielen Orten sieht man das auch.Grundsätzlich war der Service in Ordnung. Das Zimmer im 2. Stock gegen die Strasse/Park war etwas geräuschvoll. Ok wir waren mitten in einer Grossstadt. Wohlverstanden wir hatten ein "Deluxe"-Zimmer. Was immer das heissen soll. Wenn es noch "billigere" Zimmer gibt, dann gute Nacht. Zum Vergleich, unser Zimmer in einem 4-Stern-Hotel in Ägypten in diesem Frühjahr war in besserem Zustand. I stayed in the smallest room I have ever been in and I used to LIVE in the neighborhood surrounding the hotel. Not even shared apartments in that area are that small... Many of the items in the room were broken as well. The telephone wouldn't work, the television was broken, and though it was freezing outside there was no heat on. I had to ask for […] extra blankets to stay warm. The location is great, right by a ton of bus routes, two tube stations, etc but I personally don't believe that makes up for the excruciatingly high price I paid for this hotel room. I would not do it again since there are so many B&Bs in the Hyde Park area, lesson learned. Mehr

Hotel locates near the park and tube, Queensway (red line) & Baysterway (circle line). Single room of park view is small but very cozy and enough for relaxing.

For 1 night it was acceptable

I absolutelly loved my stay at this hotel!! For a few more dollars I got a rate that included breakfast, which was great. A big buffet with everything you could want. The hotel itself is a somewhat old building, but the rooms are comfortable, and have everything you might need. Staff is friendly and location is good. It´s not walking distance (I walked, […] but it´s not so close) from the main attractions, but it´s only 3 underground stops away. The underground is located right next to the hotel, queensways tattion, which is really convinient. All in all I think it´s a great hotel for it´s price =) Mehr

Close to Hyde Park, underground and busses. Excellent breakfast. But not free internet

Very friendly staff. Could not be more central for us who enjoy the Bayswater area. To the bus, 5 seconds, to the tube 15 seconds. The comfort of the room might not be of traditional Hilton standards, but the location outweighed that. When in London, location and the quality of the bed are the two most important factors for us, and both vere top notch. […] Did not try the brakfast. This hotel has a lot going for it. Nice rooms, VERY convenient location to transportation (both tube and bus) and a great neighborhood right around the corner packed with stores and restaurants of all kinds. The staff were friendly enough, and the only issue was that the restautant staff had difficulty in determining whether my breakfast was included […] with my room. This went on for two days, and I had to produce the reservation paperwork my second day to finally convince them, that yes, my reservation included their full English breakfast buffet. Go outside the hotel, turn left, and you're at the Queensway tube stop. Just down the street is the Bayswater tube station...both located on Queensway within a minute or two of the hotel front door. Could not be more convenient. Queensway is loaded with every ethnic restaurant you could want. Indian, Lebanese, Italian, pizza, sandwiches, Kabobs and more. Also, there are three or four nice-sized grocery stores to stock up on bottled water, biscuits and almost anything your heart desires for your room. If the tube is not your thing, right out the front door of the hotel is the 390 bus....which takes you to Oxford Street in 15 minutes. Across the street is Hyde Park, great for a morning walk, or just stroll the architecturally beautiful Bayswater neighborhoods that surround the hotel. I liked this property. It's charming...just 130 rooms or so in a older building. Rooms are not huge, but very comfortable, quiet, and so convenient to the tube, bus and stores....I would not hesitate to stay there on my next trip to London. Great place and good value. Mehr

Excellent location! with busses and tube just outside the hotel and a bus that takes 20 min to Victoria station we saved lots of time on our short weekend holiday. Room was nice and spacious to be a london hotel, good shower and a bathtub. Clean and neat. Did not have hotel breakfast, lots of ecological and lovely breakfast places around Notting hill, […] must try! Mehr

The service at breakfast was the best we've experienced. The staff were polite and attentive, they took pride in their job and it really showed.

Convenient location, across Bayswayer Road from Hyde Park and around the corner from the Queensway tube station and Central Line. Delicious breakfast with endless coffee and tea. Very friendly and nice staff.

Crap Hilton. Don't go. Thinking about not ever going to a Hilton anymore.

Stayed here for a short time. Very good location for all the sights. next door to undeerground, but quiet and plesant Very friendly staff, and good food for breakfast. Will stay again

It was a big disappoinment. The room was so small. The bathroom smells bad. I don't believe this is a Hilton hotel. I am not going to recommend to any of my friends and I will never use this hotel again.

I really liked Hilton Hyde Park. The room was clean and had lovely bedding. The room was small as most rooms in London are. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was included and was always fresh and hot. The only thing that was bad about this hotel was the price to rent movies or make phone calls from the room. I would suggest going to […] a phone booth and not ordering food or movies from the room. Other than that, it was great. Mehr

Stayed at Hilton Hyde Park, small hotel with grubby carpets. Room was tiny for what we paid, very over priced. Staff were excellent however and made our stay pleasant.

Nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Hyde Park is on the other side of a busy street, but the rooms we had on the 5th floor were facing away from the street and was quiet. Breakfast was nice but too expensive; the neighbourhood offer better variety too. Easy transportation with bus and underground just outside the lobby door. Notting Hill is a 5 […] minute walk away. If they want to change the name of this hotel to Hyde Park Motel, fine. But to call it a Hilton Hotel is even a stretch of the imagination. Carpets are too old, rooms are too small, general appearence and experience was as this review, terrible.

the hotel has wi fi at a price. The lttle restaurant next door, has it for free.

Having arrived later than planned, Daniel on Reception made checking in quick and easy. After getting back from our visit to the Albert Hall our evening was pleasantly ended by an attentive barman in a pleasant lounge area. Only down side was the gusty and chilly air con which both evening and breakfast staff assured us 'could not be controlled'. We […] also had no control over the air con in our room ! Great location - perfect for public transport. Good standard Hilton breakfast. Room however was tiny with horrendous views.

A small Hilton chain hotel. Well maintained. We had a twin room. It was lovely and clean. I think the room could have been arranged better, as there was a desk at the foot of the beds, with only about 40cm between the two, so if one guest is sitting on the bed drying his/her hair, the other person cannot get past. Otherwise, room very clean and well […] supplied (and I am fairly fussy!). A tiny bit of mould on the shower grout, and toilet didn't always flush easily, but otherwise bathroom was roomy and spotless. Lovely toiletries. Underground stop literally next door, and bus just metres away. Hyde Park opposite is lovely to walk through.Only a walk to Notting Hill. We got a 50% off deal, which made it very good value for money. Excellent customer service. Would happily stay again. Mehr

The hotel looks very run down and tired and the halls are very dark and dirty looking. The AC and TV in our room didn't work and hotel staff kept pushing us to upgrade the room and pay more. No exercise facility or pool, which is unusual for a a Hilton hotel. All in all, a very disappointing stay.

This hotel is in a great location and the staff was nice. The rooms were a little small but you are in London so get out of your room..

What a fabulous hotel. The freshly made omelettes at the buffet breakfast alone are worth the stay. Our room was not ready at check in so we went to the bar while we waited ... we didn't mind and didn't kick up a fuss but were still told our drinks were complimentary for the wait ... and they brought our luggage up while we enjoyed our free drinks. […] Very nice touch. Great location. Almost no distance to subway and bus lines. Park entrance directly across from hotel. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. One negative - the twin room was small. However, it was very comfortable and clean.

The air conditioning of the hotel room did not work. There was a small electric fan in my room whereas there was none in my friend's room. The room was very hot that we could hardly sleep

I've had bigger rooms, better quality furnishings at a Best Western......without the Hilton pricing. However, having said that, this is a very good hotel ...made so by the location, the staff (most quite genuinely friendly, helpful) ans the location, right aeound the corner from Queensway tube station and a whole street full of inexpensive but good […] restaurants, pharmacy, post office, even groceries with ready-made meals,and right across from Kensington Park... the hotel is situated close to the tube and ideal for Kensington palace & Hyde park. The service we received was excellent. The twin room was on the small side but perfectly adequate for our needs would stay there again

this hotel is very near to underground, it did not look as a hilton hotel

Hilton Hyde Park is convenient to transportation + Hyde Park + eating & shopping choices. Excellent breakfast buffet comparable to or better than cruise ships. Many choices to eat inexpensively in area. Attentive service provided in hotel. This is not a newer, modern hotel but provides a very good, clean and convenient accommodation.

well i will start with the room we obviously got one of the rooms to be refurbished,air con not working,couldnt access any pay movies or the like on the tv,very very tired decor really run down on the plus side had safe, ironing board oh and bed extremely noisy(ahem) hotel is in a great location breakfast was included in our rate so made up for it a […] bit ,freshly cooked omlette at a nice touch no atmosphere in bar and quite pricey when you can find someone to serve you staff freindly all in all ok but i wont be staying here again there are far superior hotels just as well located so my advise look elsewhere sorry but you cant hand out a room like we got and expect a favourable review Mehr

I booked this hotel on the recommendation that it was right over the tube station that goes directly to Heathrow - this was not the case - it is in fact another Hilton at Hyde Park that is above that Heathrow connecting tube station. So as a result I had to leave the hotel almost an hour earlier than expected to catch a 15 gbp cab ride to the other […] tube station to be able to catch my early flight. Mehr

Stayed here with my wife on vacation. Room was small but the hotel is in a great location, just outside Hyde Park and moments from both Bayswater station and another station which I can't remember the name of, it provided access to several different tube routes. The staff at the hotel were ridiculously polite and helpful, especially at the breakfast […] buffet which was pretty solid. The only downside other than the room being small was the hefty 15 pound a day internet charge, although the connection was the best I experienced throughout my time in Europe. I really enjoyed my stay at the Hilton. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location was terrific. How wonderful to be directly across from Hyde Park and right next to a tube station.
