Nice hotel The breakfast was ok but some supplies such as more than one type of jelly for toast would have been nice

The rooms were very clean, but the mattress was horrible..I woke up with aches. The continental breakfast was bare...no milk for cereal, no butter for toast, no mix for the waffle maker. I ate instant oatmeal. Staff was very kind, and I received what I expected for the low price.

This is an ideal location during busy season, as you can walk to many of the attractions on the strip and miss all that stand-still traffic!!

VERY NICE, CLEAN, RIGHT ON THE MAIN STRIP WILL USE THIS HOTEL AGAIN.

Descriptions on hotels.com website very misleading, shows 2pm checkin and noon checkout, actual times are 3pm checkin and 11am checkout, also advertises internet access in rooms which is why we chose this hotel, not true access in lobby only, Tried to get soda from 4 different machines=all empty even one in lobby only had 1 bottle of Sprite. My husband and I were very impressed with the hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean. Location was close to the music show we went to. The continental breakfast was good and there was a lady on hand to help you with anything you needed. Perfect spot to most of the shows and attractions. The rooms were perfect and spotless with lots of room. Very comfortable and homey.

We stayed at Melody Lane for one night, and I'm truly glad it was not longer. On arrival the desk person attempted to put us in a double-twin room after we had reserved a "king leisure suite". They did move us to the correct room type after my husband returned to the office with a copy of our reservation. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable and […] broken down and caused both of us to have back aches the next morning. The facilities were clean but worn and dated. The "complimentary continental breakfast" was extremely disappointing and lacking. Overall this is a case of not getting what we paid for. I do not plan to stay at this motel again, and would suggest that others look further. The two nights that we spent at the Ramada were MUCH more comfortable for a smaller price. Be warned. Mehr

I always liked this motel until this visit. Just didn't seem real clean. The bathroom stool would come clear out of the floor. Can't get on internet in the rooms. No frig, microwave, iron and etc. I like the location.

I would highly recommend this motel. It is in walking distance of lots of the shows and restaurants. The desk clerks were very helpful and nice. It was clean and quiet.

I did enjoy staying at the Melody Lane Inn, but it was kind of dated and the beds were awful. I loved the convenience of how close it was to most of the entertainment and restaurants. We were within walking distance from most of the things we wanted to do. I do like the hotel. I just hope they update the beds before I visit again.

This is the 2nd year in row we chose this hotel and have been pleased with it both times! It's On the strip, friendly service, clean rooms, great price! Overall I great place to stay I would tell family and friends about this hotel!

My family and I stayed here and our room was ok. But my daughters room smelled, and our rooms did not get cleaned. The linens did not get changed, the foor did not get vacuumed. The beds were uncomfortable.

The hotel was located in the prime spot in Branson which was very convienient. The hotel is a old one and hence don't expect very cozy atmosphere.

It was clean and service was good. Only had two complaints. I was told we were on the lower level so we wouldn't have stairs and we were not. Also, the ice machine was broken and had to go down to the other end to get ice.

It was convenient to sites. Large pool that children enjoyed.Friendly staff.

The room was clean but a little out dated, small TV, carpets and mattress could use an update, along with the furniture. It is excellently located on the strip and the people were curtious

Very convieniently located. Even though it was older , it was well maintained and clean. We had a handicapped & non smoking unit .The breakfast coffee shop was really convient. All was good . Staff very helpful.

Our first room was suppose to be a "Luxury King Suite, king bed with a little sitting area in a private area on the side that had a couch that opened up to a nice double sofa sleeper, with a small kitchenette (microwave and fridge). Well there was a HARD king size bed, and the sofa sleeper was lop-sided, no bedding and very, very hard - - 2 inch matteress […] and you could feel the bars through the mattress. We had to go back up to the office and request bedding, request more towels and request toilet paper. After the first night we switched rooms to two queen beds which were still hard. And STILL had to beg for toilet paper (1 roll for four adults). The phones in the room did not work - - I was told "we have been having phone issues for some time". The premises were dirty and run down. The free continential breakfast was a joke - - - not enough for over 10 guests. I would NEVER stay here again. Mehr

We had stayed at this hotel a few years back and liked so we tried again, because the statement about this one about what they have is a flat out lie ! The first room we went o the beds was made but on the table was white powder and a used drinking straw, we changed rooms got ready to get ice, the ice machine was not working, Ok went to a show came […] back got laptop out and wifi out. but was told could come and set in lobby (woopy) and use. The next morning one of the thing we like was the waffle machine, Still shown as having guess what NOT !! The company that had it came just the week before and got it (so they said) Think maybe someone could of said walmart/sams and get another one,but they are going to get another one.(not in time for my stay) so it was a old donut and such! Upon checkout I ask the lady at the front desk when the hotel was going to be compleated on the update/remodel she had no ideal. They was painting the doors on the outside so they are doing something but , They need to get a plan, dirty rooms, no ice, no wifi, breakfast not as stated does not stand in a town where there is plenty of hotel/motel rooms. even the tv in the office lounge setting are was no longer hanging on the wall but the wireing is still strung out. VERY DISAPPOINTED !!! Mehr

Our room appeared clean and the bed was comfortable. We did not complain but several lights in the room needed attention. (likely burned out bulbs) Plenty of hot water for showers with fresh towels each day. Door to room could some weather strip, but thats cosmetic and did not hurt our comfort. it was a nice place to stay very close to where the shows were. The help was very nice and understanding. we had to leave a day early and they worked with me on the room.

Nothing Fancy but cheap and clean with a good breakfast

This hotel is in a great location for the young and fit. But, I would NOT reccomend anyone over 50 or anyone who is handicapped to stay there. Reasons being, it is built on the side of a hill. The room levels are staggered, and there is no elevator. If you ever get caught in a snow, you will never get out of the slanted parking lot. The hotel was a good value.The only thing i had an issue with is them taking a photo copy of my credit card.They were the only hotel that took a picture of my card, I was uncomfortable with that.The next day at checkout I asked for the copy of the card back, and they told me it was sent to their main office.I do not like that policy especially with […] all the identity theft going on Mehr

We were going to be in Branson for just one night. We have two small kids and we are on a serious budget so we needed something clean and cheap. Melody Lane Inn was just fine. Obviously it's an older hotel and there aren't any frills - but if you need a clean place to lay your head at night and a hot shower in the morning, this is a good option. We […] even pulled up the sheets and the mattress pad to check for bedbugs (since it's been in the news so much lately) and I was surprised by just how clean everything was. We were on a family trip to Branson, MO and pre-booked this hotel. Check in was quick and the attendant was friendly and helpful. The bed was not very comfortable. The carpets were clean and the room had a nice atmosphere. Overall, a good value!

Other than the location of the hotel this place was a dump! The electricity in our room went out bc we were blow drying our hair and the front desk didn't even know where the fuse box was and there was no maintenance on duty. So we had to move to another room with zero compensation for the inconvenience. The women who work at the front desk didn't speak […] proper english which is always difficult to deal with. The hot tub was not hot at all. Not even barely luke warm. There were numerous silver fish in our bathroom and a HUGE blood stain down the side of one of the box springs. The TV is super small and the breakfast was not good at all. The milk in the frig was expired. Just over all it was horrible. I would NEVER stay there again. I am 27 years old and pretty easy going, so for me to say a hotel is horrible is a big deal. Normally I can just brush things off, but this place was the worst! And REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY rude front hotel agents. Mehr

Wished they had a mini refriderator, but for the price it would be very hard to beat. Can't complain & would stay again.

Staying there was a good experience. Everything is well kept up and very nice with swimming pool, good breakfast, etc. If you want waffles, let the attendant know when you get in the door each morning, because there is usually a waiting list. If you have mobility problems, ask for a room on level ground because most of the place is on a very steep […] grade and difficult to walk on for elderly. They have about 40-50 rooms on a flat surface. If smoking bothers you, ask for a room that has not had smokers in it so the bed spread doesn't smell like smoke. This motel is quite large and right on the main drag close to everything so walking to things would work.. The onl.y problem is that main road is only 2 lanes, so trying to get across traffic or even into traffic during late morning to early evening hours is rather difficult. Traffic at Branson is usually backed up for blocks, so plan well ahead. If you book early, you'll get a great price. Mehr

We were traveling and wanted a clean place to stay and spend the night in Branson, as we had never been there. The location was great, we were able to walk to dinner to a great cafe with singing servers across the street. The pool was clean the room was clean. The bed was a little hard, but we felt the room was a good value for the money.
