Waren zu Besuch in Boston und wollten etwas ausserhalb nächtigen. Ohne Auto eher schlecht zu erreichen. Etwa 20 Fahrminuten von Boston entfernt. Waren sehr zufrieden. Nettes Personal.... alles bestens.
Lage
Wyndham Boston/Chelsea liegt in Flughafennähe in Chelsea in der Nähe von: USS Constitution Museum, Boston City Hall und Boston Athenaeum.
Ausstattung
Wyndham Boston/Chelsea stellt Ihnen Folgendes zur Verfügung: Fitnessstudio, Innenpool und Whirlpool. Ein kostenloser W-LAN-Internetzugang steht in den öffentlichen Bereichen zur Verfügung. Geschäftsreisenden wird in diesem 3-Sterne-Haus Folgendes angeboten: Businesscenter (rund um die Uhr geöffnet) und Tagungstechnik. Sehr gutes Hotel in der nähe vom Logan Airport, Zimmer waren sauber ,groß, sehr gut Ausgestattet und Hotel verfügt über Indoor Pool und Jacuzzi.Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!

Das Hotel ist sehr ordentlich und sauber. Die Lage in Chelsea in einem Mischgebiet ist nicht so schön. Das Hotel bietet aber einen kostenlosen Parkplatz für den eigenen Wagen und einen Transfer hin und zurück zur Metrostation Airport (ca. 15 min Transferzeit), von wo es 2 Stationen bis zum Aquarium und zur Long Wharf von Boston sind (ca. 5 min Fahrzeit, […] $2.50). "Zweckmässiges "Vorort"-Hotel in Chelsea-Boston"
Gut geführtes Hotel mit Shuttle-Service zum Flughafen bzw. U-Bahn (ca. 30 min-Takt). Ruhiges, sauberes Zimmer (3.Stock, Ausblick auf Seitenstrasse/Parkplatz). Sauberes Bad, gutes Bett. Hilfsbereites, freundliches Personal. Etwas veraltet, Umgebung wenig ansprechend, aber für Übernachtung in Airport-Nähe völlig i.O.
"Gutes Hotel, schlechte Lage"
Wenn man die Stadt besichtigen möchte, dann ist die Lage des Hotels sehr unvorteilhaft. Man ist auf Shuttlebus angewiesen und das heisst, dass man das Hotel anrufenmuss und melden, dass man wartet. Der Bus kommt nach ( frühestens) 20 min. Auch der Ort, von wo man abgeholt wird (Metro blaue Linie:Airport), liegt relativ weit vom Zentrum Bostons entfernt. The hotel was clean and the room was comfortable - we spent 4 nights there. Compared to the price we had to pay we had much better hotels during our trip around East England area and Canada com! "Bosten"
Preiswertes Hotel ohne Kosten für Parken! Schuttelservice zu Subway und Flughafen! Von Hier auch kann man Bosten gut erkunden. Frühstücken im Hotel (mitbringen oder mitbuchen!) Die Umgebung ist nicht sehr Vertrauenserweckend. Das hat aber auch den Hotelaufenthalt keinen negativen Einfluss.
"Wyndham Chelsea - gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis"
Das Hotel liegt außerhalb von Boston, aber der Shuttle-Service von und zu Flughafen und Ubahn funktioniert gut. Um die Ecke ist eine Filiale eines Fastfood-Riesen und ein großer Supermarkt. Mein Zimmer war sauber und in guten Zustand. Es gibt einen Großbildfernseher, einen Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Radio-Wecker, Fernsehsessel, Kaffeepadmaschine, Dusche, […] Badewanne, eine Bibliothek in der Lobby, eine Fitnessecke, ein Swimmingpool und ein Restaurant. Das Essen habe ich nicht probiert. Leichter Abzug für Störungen beim kostenlosen WLAN, ein einstündiger Sromausfall und die nicht regulierbare Klimaanlage. Mehr

Hotel ist neuwertig, sehr gute Zimmerausstattung, sehr freundlich. Gegend ist leider etwas ausserhalb, aber Hotel hat einen guten Shuttle zum Airport direkt an die T Station. Sehr zu empfehlen.

"Terrible surrounding area"
The hotel is close to the airport and is of reasonable quality/cleanliness - those are the only redeeming features. The surrounding area is really rundown.
"Nice hotel - average neighborhood"
The Wyndham Chelsea was a nice hotel and the neighborhood wasn't as bad as I was warned it was. Having said that, we didn't spend a ton of time there. It is a pretty short drive into Boston and the shuttle will also take you to the transit station for free. Good value.

"Nice place to stay a little out of the way"
This hotel was great, had no problems with room or anything and the location suited me as I did not want to be in the middle of the city. It is a bit out of town but they provide an excellent shuttle service to the airport station where you can get anywhere you want quickly. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay except the weather was a bit warm.

"Wyndham Chelsea Boston"
This was a perfectly fine hotel: it was clean, comfortable, nicely appointed. The staff sometimes seemed a bit distracted, but everyone was polite. There was a grocery story a block or so away, which allowed me to make use of the microwave and refrigerator in the room. The one major downside was location. I needed to get downtown for business on public […] transportation. This was available, but the nearest bus stop was about 1/2 mile away and, especially on the return trip, required walking through a somewhat questionable neighborhood. After dark, I didn't want to have to walk under a large highway overpass, past a construction site, and past several abandoned lots and parking lots. Especially given how frequently I got catcalled there, it just didn't feel safe. If the bus stop had been closer to the hotel, it would have been fine, but, as it is, I would have been happier to pay extra money and not have to worry about choosing between making it home safely or spending an exorbitant amount of money on a cab. Our stay at the Chelsea Wyndham was well-suited for comfort, convenience of extended-term parking, and shuttle to airport for early am departure. An out-of-town first time visitor might be put off by its neighborhood but, as someone who has known the area for 40 years, we appreciated the value and convenience. This hotel was perfect for me because of the location to my meeting in Chelsea, but I wouldn't recommend it for Boston tourists. It is too far away and the surrounding neighborhood isn't good for walking around at night.

Much better than expected, comfortable, well decorated. Fantastic location for access to Boston--7 minutes by car over the Tobin Bridge. Luxury linens, marble, nice amenities. Location industrial so not scenic and no place to "roam".

"Noisy but convenient to Logan"
We stayed at the Wyndham Chelsea because of a flight out of Logan that left early in the morning. The hotel still offers airport shuttle service, but parking your car at the hotel for the duration of your trip is no longer free (the first 2 weeks used to be). Parking is now $10 for each full day. Very Affordable Hotel. Nice and Clean. Good bar and restaurant. Short drive to Downtown Boston. There were a lot of professionals & families staying there. Free bus shuttle to Airport & from there train into City (very quick). Surrounding area is ok. It is a little awkward if you are planning on spending a lot of time Downtown. My wife, a huge critic, liked this hotel. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Parking is a little tough if you arrive late. Overall, great value!

The headline says it all. Tremendous value for money. Easy shuttle to and from the airport every 30 mins in a journey that took 15 mins.The hotel seems to be very well managed. I had a Kingsize bed and it was sooooo comfortable. Everything as far as my needs (comfy bed, great shower, transport) worked well, was very well maintained and thought through. […] Although only in transit and I have no idea what the location is like, it appeared to be nice. Perhaps a telling point is that the hotel is used by at least two airlines as their preferred hotel for pilots and flight crew as i shared a bus with them to the hotel. I was very impressed and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone in transit. Perhaps check out location more to confirm suitability if staying longer. Mehr
