AMERICAS BEST VALUE INN - Yosemite National Park

Unsere Zimmer hatten gute Ausstattung und waren auch sauber. In der Anlage war auch ein kleiner Pool. Die Anlage liegt direkt an der Durchgangsstraße des Yosemite Nationalpark. Leider ist die Anlage ca. 1 Fahrstunde vom Yosemite Valley entfernt. Daher für eine Übernachtung sehr gut geeignet, allerdings für mehrtägige Ausflüge in den Park eher zu weit […] entfernt. Mehr

Hotel liegt direkt am HW 120, außenrum ist außer Wald nichts. Nächte Ortschaft ca. 20 km. Zimmer sind zweckmäßig ausgestattet und für 1 Übernachtung in Ordnung. Kein Frühstück erhältlich.

Für sightseeing in San Francisco ein absolut empfehlendswertes Hotel, das zentral gelegen ist. und einen recht gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis bietet. Einzig das Restaurant und die Bar sind zu teuer für das Gebotene, aber die kann man ja meiden...

Hotel liegt abgelegen, ist jedoch als Ausgangslage zum Yosemite perfekt. Restaurant nebenan bietet amerikanische Speisen zu fairen Preisen an. Zimmer i.O., ausser die Heizung. Der Lärm hätte mich fast um den Verstand gebracht. Und es war zu kühl um darauf zu verzichten.

I was very unsatisfied with the wi-fi availability. We never received the wake-up call we requested.

Great hotel, helpful staff. Good location. No breakfast. The amount stated on the website did not include the tax, we had to pay extra. Total amount should be stated.

Less than one hour from hotel to Yosemite valley. Nice little fridge and microwave. Even though the room was not ready yet when we arrived, Sharad the manager let us leave some perishables in the fridge behind reception while we went off to the park. Would definitely stay here again.

This motel was very clean and roomy. Beds were comfortable and rooms have hair dryers, flat screen tv's, microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator and the location is very close to the entrance of Yosemite NP. The managers were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean, comfortable and convenient hotel, perfectly placed for accessing Yosemite national park. reasonably priced too.

We stayed here for two nights and loved it. Only 12 Miles from the park entrance , clean and comfortable.

Great, inexpensive choice after a day of Yosemite hiking.

If you are travelling from San Francisco this hotel is especially convenient. The couple that run it are very friendly and helpful. With the in-room fridge and microwave plus free WiFi it real is a comfortable place to stay. There is also a pool on site but closed due to the weather. Nice bathroom that had marble effects. Washbasin needed bleach down the overflow. Friendy hosts. Nice pool apart from the additional swimmers (insects) in it. Handy for Yosemite and that is why it was a trifle expensive. No breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay and the room was clean and comfortable. It is about 55 minutes from Yosemite valley.

The room was clean and spacious, the staff was friendly and helpful. The Inn is located next to a restraurant. All of this is about 30 minutes from Yosemite.

Vastly over priced for this standard of hotel, but able to survive because many other hotels in the area are equally over priced. They will remain busy as will other hotels in the area, but not with my custom as I shall not return to Yosemite to be ripped off with these sort of prices..

This hotel is actually better than it looks from outside. Vefy comfortable and clean inside the room. Outside has evidence of works being done. Good value and suited our purpose. Fabulous value restaurant with great food and staff.

Conveniently located very close to the outlet mall which we bought alot of stuff from. Was quite noisy as the hotel is situated close to the motorway. Not sure if double glazing would have helped. Was tough sleeping when rush hour started at 5am,

We were toataly unfamiliar with the area and found this site online. It was ideally located in beautiful surroundings as close to the gate at Yosmite as possible. The adjoining resturant had good food and service. Definetely worth considering if you want something on the West side.

We booked here because it was right at the meeting point for a Tuolomne River Trip. Got one of the last rooms for this weekend date - they upgraded us to a Suite which was very roomy with a spiffy bathroom. Wish we had that shower available after we got off the River! This was high season so it was not cheap but we decided to splurge. The restaurant […] nearby is OK - not great. The pancakes I had for breakfast were a bit "tough" but the eggs were perfect. Its a comfortable and quiet place . No complains. Will definitely stay here again , only if they price is little less. Its location is what makes its price worthwhile.

Location is very good for Hetch Hetchy and Yosemite. The room is fine, it's overpriced for what it is but that's due to location which is about as close as you can get to Yosemite west gate. Fridge in room was very loud and kept one of us awake for a while but that is probably just a small issue with our room. Bathrooms were new and clean. Visited Yosemite, Sequoia & Kings Canyon over 5 days and this was by far the most expensive hotel. Still over an hour's drive to get to Yosemite entrance. Hotel is very clean and room very nicely furnished. I'd have settled for older furnishings and cheaper price. A couple was checking in before me and girl at desk remarked what a great rate they had […] gotten on the hotel (about 1/2 price). Apparently they had booked well in advance, so that might be the way to go if you're thinking of staying at this hotel. Mehr

The only drawback is to get to the hotel. We were there in the first week of June and the pass route 120 was closed . It took us extra 3 hours to get there and it was night. However, when we reached it was nice to be at the Inn. So do not go there before July month. Also GPS doe not work accurately.

We had a wonderful stay. Very clean and comfortable.

Bit rustic for my taste, not much around except for the National park. very pricey and not involved in the rewards program

This hotel was exactly what we needed after a very long day of travel, and a 5 hour detour due to road closures. Our room was newly remodeled, and it was so nice, so clean, so fresh. We even had a fridge/microwave in the room, which is super convenient when staying at Yosemite. The water pressure was great, and the water got hot immediately, a rarity […] in most hotels. This hotel is close to Yosemite National Park but outside the Park Boundary so cheaper. Good facilities, although swimming pool not heated which was disappointing. Also no complimentary breakfast which is a bind in the middle of nowhere and for the price Overall though a good facility.

It was perfect. The rooms are well maintained and everything was clean. Service was wonderful. There was a coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. There is a restaurant next door and a country store just down the road. It's about a 15 minute drive to Yosemite's west gate, and about an hour to get all the way to the Visitor's Center. This was our first Motel experience and it was very surprising, the room was clean and had everything we needed. My husband was particularly impressed by the number of TV channels on offer! The receptionist was very welcoming, even though we arrived late in the evening. The diner next door served great burgers and beers in frosted glasses which were […] much needed after a day sightseeing in the park (Yosemite). It was very convenient to Yosemite National Park. There was a restaurant next door with great food and service! We will definately like to stay here again.

This hotel appears to been recently remodeled. The room was in very good condition, nothing like I expected given the rustic look of the exterior. The front desk staff was very slow but helpful. Very convenient location relative to Yosemite.

In a busy area where most motels were full we were fortunate to find this place just outside the park. Very nice with a swimmable pool and a restuarant nearby. Very remote but good.

we stayed for 2 nights. it's a motel kind of accommodation so don't expect too much. but for us leaving early for the park and returning late in the evening just to sleep,it is more than good enough with clean beds, a clean bathroom, a coffee maker and a mini-fridge. The best thing about the hotel is its proximity to the park, just a short 15/20 mins […] drive took us to the gate. Also there is the convenience of having Buck Meadow Restaurant next door and a gas station and small grocery store down the road. Mehr
