The Iberville Suites - New Orleans

in New Orleans lass ich mal andere Massstäbe gelten... nun 4Sterne glänzen sonst anders resp. heller. Das Bad war bei Zimmerübernahme nach normalem Gutdünken nicht ausreichend sauber geputzt, es fanden sich noch Spuren von den vorherigen ZimmerNutzern... Die Zimmerreinigung war am ersten Tag um 15.00 als ich wieder zurückkam noch nicht durch - konnte […] aber problemlos darauf verzichten. Die Möblierung hat seine besten Zeiten definitiv bereits hinter sich und zeigt an diversen Stellen halt bereits sein leicht fortgeschrittenes Nutzungsalter, aber wie bereits angetönt in New Orleans lassen wir Gnade vor Recht walten... sehr gute Lage zur Bourbon Street, trotzdem ruhig! Man muss sich einfach bewusst sein, dass das in den USA ansonsten vielfach im Preis mit enthaltene Parkieren und Internet saftigen Aufpreis kostet! (Aber das scheint hier in New Orelans ganz üblich zu sein für das Auto über 30$ pro Nacht zu verlangen) Mehr

Dimly lit rooms. first room i checked into, the toilet didn't work. the carpet in the suite living room area was wet. they sent someone quickly, and the maintenance person was helpful. Moved to a 2nd room, which had working plumbing and dry carpet, but still dimly lit. It was only a one night stay, so it was okay. We loved our stay here. Everyone working here were so helpful and friendly. Especially the waiters in the restaurant. Yes it was a bit expensive but it was well worth it. We did not mind paying for our dinner or valet. The hotel itself was gorgeous. We would definitely spend another night at this hotel.

I can't give it a 4 star rating as others have due to the need for renovations. One of our rooms had furniture that was torn and the springs were coming out of the loveseat. The carpet was also badly stained. I think that in it's time it was a great hotel and could be again with room renovations. The hotel is in an excellent location, the staff was always helpful and accomodating and the accomodations were comfortable. We found it to be an excellent hotel and would stay there again next time.

Arrived quite late at 11:35PM due to plane delays; hotel was overbooked but they were very accommodating by upgrading us to the Ritz-Carleton right next door. Had great accommodations at the Ritz-Carleton! Enjoyed the continental breakfast at the Iberville Suites. Location is great - a block and a bit off Bourbon St - can access both hotels from busy […] Canal Street which is very well lit which is good when returning late from Bourbon street. Mehr

Room smelled - not able to pinpoint the aroma, but unpleasant. When walking in my bare feet, i realized much of carpet was damp, as though rugs were very recently shampooed. All this engendered curiosity as to what had previously visited my room, requiring rug shampoo. Those thoughts did not make me want to return. I was pleased my stay was only a single […] night. Based on other good reviews, I was very disappointed. The price and location of Iberville Suites are excellent. But the hotel staff and overall quality have obviously declined. The front desk was not friendly. Our room was dark and dingy. The room had very dirty carpet and the linens smelled. I slipped in the bathtub because the rubber mat had been […] removed. This stay was no fun at all for us. The staff were rude. Our room was dirty and we had to wait an extra two hours to check in. They did not tell us that valet parking was an extra $34 a day plus tax.

Over flow hotel for Ritz....so a totally fab gym! Room service needs menu upgrade in room, since no menu to work from I was specific about what I did not want on my plate (fries, bread) but it was all there. Safe area, doesn't look great and not views — but quiet. Helpful staff.

Great hotel, attached to the Ritz-Carleton, good amenities and good continental breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed one night. Hotel is one block off Bourbon St tucked away from all the noise. Hotel well maintained and when we needed sheets for the pull out couch, they arrived within minutes. Quick valet service although a bit expensive.

We were pleased with overall experience. Close to action on Bourbon St. staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel lobby was very pretty.

I thought the location was perfect and the rooms were very clean. The rates were quite reasonable for the great location. I would for sure stay there again. Parking was a bit pricey $35.00 per day.

Only one little problem with drain in bathroom sink, but once reported it was fixed right away. The room was nice and the staff was very accomadating. Would definately stay there again.

Because of the condition of our room I would not even begin to classify it as a part of the Ritz . Our faucet dripped the whole time driving me crazy and we had stopped up toilet. They did fix that very quickly but could not repair drip in faucet. NOT THE RITZ

The Iberville Suites Hotel was very accomadating. They gave us an early check in during a very busy time in the quarter. Very accomidating valets checked the car in after returning from a cruise at 9:00 am. Held our luggage and called our cell when the room was ready. We wanted to stay in the area after check out and they kept the car without additional […] charge until 5:30 in the evening after our check out of the hotel. We are used to high parking prices with working in Chicago so the $36.00 fee was not out of the question for parking. We noticed when we returned to the hotel late that they rolled a door down and secured the lot. Really happy with the whole expierence. Mehr

Classy, comfortable hotel - all suites-very roomy. 2 blocks to Bourbon St. & French Quarter. Very clean and the staff was one of the friendliest I have encountered. The only con I have is the excessive cost to park per day - $38 is insane - $20 at day would be a more expected rate. Next time I might seek a stay in Garden District if rate of parking […] at Iberville is still this high - otherwise I would Highly recommend and make a return visit. Mehr

Nice hotel with a great breakfast (free) within walking distance to Bourbon Street.

We stayed at the Iberville Suites in New Orleans 4/12 and we thought the hotel was in a wonderful location. This is part of the Ritz-Carleton with all of their amenities, pool, spa and gym. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. This booking also included a Continental Breakfast. What more could you ask for. Great price, great location, great […] deal. Mehr

I expected a little more from this hotel since it is next to the Ritz. The price was a little more than it should have been. The contential breakfast was marginal.

Definitely not a 4 star as advertised. I would go 2.5 due to bathroom cleanliness. Not what I would have expected for a 4 star. Even if in Narlins.

Time for remodeling. Mattresses and TV's need to be replaced, and everything needs a fresh coat of paint.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay. We were pleased with the amenties that were offered. Great value! Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

Our room was comfortable. Complimentary continental breakfast was very nice. The indoor pool and the warm jacuzzi were lovely places to spend a rainy morning.
