"nett-sehr klein- parken furchtbar"
Hotel staf was very nice. Room was small, bathroom tiny - we were on the top floor, felt like a room on a ship. If you are a larger person the bathroom will not work for you - will not be able to close the door when on the toilet the space was so tight. Location is great. The stairway is extremely steep and no elevator - but they carried the bags up […] and down. It is walking distance from the train station if you have light luggage on wheels. The breakfast was o.k. Internet coverage was spotty, could get it on the lobby floor but not up in the room. People who run the hotel are very nice. Mehr
"Small, but not bad location"
This hotel has very steep strairs. I assume all hotels in this area are like that, but it was unexpected. The breakfast was sufficient and the service was fantastic. Our bags were carried up to our room. We were greeted by very nice staff and given a map of the city and many brochures. The shower in the bathroom was uncomfortable and due to the lack […] of a working vent fan in smelled a little musky. The only real complaint I had was the smell of smoke. For being a non-smoking room it smelled very, very strongly of smoke. Mehr
"Nadia Hotel Amsterdam - near Dam Squqre"
Our stay at Nadia Hotel was most satisfactory, staff very helpful especially with carrying suitcase up very steep flight of stairs (the only disadvantage). Hotel very central to all city sights and tram just outside door if going any distance, would reccommend for a short break in city.
"Nadia Hotel- wonderful location & staff"
We recently stayed for 1 night at Nadia Hotel and would highly recommend. It was exactly what we were looking for- great location, awesome price, wonderful and helpful staff. There are stairs to get to the reception area and most rooms- so if you have physical limitations that may be an issue. Other than that, we loved our stay and the staff was so […] helpful- making reservations for us, suggesting nice areas to walk through on our way to Museums, etc. Mehr

"The Nadia Hotel in Amsterdam was perfect."
The most important advantage to write about this hotel was the hospitality. I felt so at home and the staff was always looking after me. Location was great. Very convenient. Very tiny room I stayed in but cozy. Continental breakfast was perfect, great croissants and coffee.
"Good price for staying in Amsterdam"
Steep stairs and small rooms, but that is ok for a short stay in Amsterdam and this hotel is in a great spot to walk or take the tram. Some of the staff are friendly, some are grumpy but overall helpfull. Internet (wifi) did not work for me and the staff just kept saying to switch to a different connection, but that was not working.
Hotel Nadia is a small and peculiar family-run hotel at a perfect location in the middle of Amsterdam's beautiful canal area, very close to Anne Frank Museum, Dam Square etc. We stayed in two different rooms during our stay: the first one was very small but cosy, and after one night we were offered another room (by the hotel staff) because there was […] some renovation going on outside the room and they were concerned about possible noise. The new room was big and had a lovely canal view. Both rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is continental so do not expect anything more than croissants, toast, cheese, joghurt and apples (+ coffee and tea) - however, even though the selection is not wide, everything was fresh and tasty, especially the delicious croissants! The decor is extremely kitchy, to the extent that it (almost) becomes cool. In general, we really loved our stay in Hotel Nadia, would recommend it and will definitely stay there again next time we come to Amsterdam! Mehr
"It is very close to every where, who wants to see"
Nice place to stay in Amsterdam, breakfast is also good.
"clean, warm, homely but small rooms"
Lovely family run hotel 5 min walk from dam square with anne frank's house opposite and close to 2 supermarkets. Friendly service- drink and flowers on arrival! nicely decorated but very steep steps- go up 2 floors just to let to reception. The rooms are clean, very warm and homely but very small- like cruise cabins with a small bathroom and shower […] (no baths). One small wardrobe but lots of shelving, free fridge and free keysafe. Comfy small double bed and tv (one english channel). Perfect hotel for sleeping and toast and croissants for breakfast. Mehr
"Good quality at reasonable price"
Location is the biggest advantage of the hotel. Very nice staff. Breakfast is OK. I liked rooms interior, especially the lights a lot.
"Hotel Nadia Amsterdam"
What a wonderful surprise for a 2 star hotel. Great staff so helpful and friendly, good location, small but totally equipped rooms, excellent breakfast room.
"Good price and location; not nonsmoking"
We liked Nadia; the stairs are steep, but the view is good. The location is very good. The room is tiny, but with a lot of storage. The room is clean. Breakfast is plain, but plentiful. That said, my companion did not like the cheese and was disappointed; I was fine. Get there early to get a croissant. What we did not like: the room smelled of secondhand […] smoke. We could see the ashtrays in the stairwell, so smoking is reasonably common at Nadia, and ubiquitous in Amsterdam, so perhaps we should have anticipated this. We also had intermittent connection problems to the internet; at times this was frustrating. Overall good value for the money, but know what you are buying. Mehr
"Nadia Hotel - great value for money!"
We stayed there with my husband for 3 nights and were absolutely delited by the frendliness and helpfulness of staff! THe rooms are a bit small but cosy, clean, nice breakfast, not big but everything u need, location is just SUPERB! it`s downtown without being too nosy, everything in a walking distance - museums, Central Station, shopping.... We will […] defenitely recommend to our friends and will come again! Thanks, guys! Good job! Mehr
"Ndia Hotel-within walking distance of everything"
This hotel was fabulous for a true Amsterdam experience, not a chain. It was clean, centrally located, safe, and quiet. The breakfast was very nice and the breakfast room was open 24/7 for tea and coffee, light snacks. The room was very compact but adequate for a 2-3 night stay. The hotel was within walking distance of all public transportation, Dam […] Square, Anne Frank's house, Central Station, the Red Light District-a great hotel for the first-time traveler to Amsterdam.. The one drawback-2 flights of very steep stairs to get to the hotel itself (2 stories above street level.) But the hotel employees happily carry your luggage up and down the stairs. No elevator-NOT for the handicapped. But this is Amsterdam.... Mehr

"Hotel Nadia - Amsterdam"
Hotel Nadia was in a perfect location for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are extremely small but clean.
"Nadia Hotel Amsterdam"
We booked a standard room and the staff was more than happy to upgrade us to a balcony room at no extra cost! The room was small but very tidy and comfy. The views out the window and off the balcony were directly of the canals and beautiful Westerkirk church. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a good local and moderate price hotel. […] The stairs at the entrance are a little daunting and it is not a hotel for those with disabilities walking or climbing stairs but if you are able it is the best bang for your buck! Mehr

"Good location"
Very nice staff. Good simple breakfast. Rooms noisy on the street side of hotel. Stairs as steep as a ladder, no lift

"Great Two-Star Hotel"
First of all, be aware that this is not the Ritz. It is a two-star hotel, which means the room is tiny and the bathroom looks like a train car bathroom. You may or may not get a view (most likely not). Within these parameters, however, the hotel has much to recommend itself: great location, scrupulously clean rooms, good quality breakfast, free WiFi. […] Be aware there are many stairs and no elevator (lift). The staff will take up your baggage to your room and back down again but you have to get yourself up the stairs. I wanted to get my laundry washed and was able to get that done for 10 euros, negotiated with the laundry woman. As long as you are realistic in your expectations, you will not regret staying at Hotel Nadia. Mehr
"Friendly, old, compact hotel near the center"
Very friendly and helpful staff in this hotel in an old building very close to Dam Square. Like everyone else wrote, no elevator and steep stairs two flights up to reception. The rooms are small, clean but comfortable. They have a nice breakfast in a small room with a fabulous view of the Westerkerk. A medium walk from the Centraal Station but two trams […] lines run stop essentially in front of the hotel. This hotel is a great little gem if you can handle the stairs. Mehr
"Excellent location, helpful staff, quaint hotel"
Our room was very small but had a balcony with canal view, also the fresh flowers in our room made us forget the lack of space. It's a converted old building so rooms are odd-shaped with period features, good use is made of the small space. A couple of mins' walk to canal-bus stop and tram stop, five mins to Dam Square, all attractions easily accessible. […] Some road noise at night but hotel itself was quiet. Nice continental breakfast, friendly and efficient service with personal touch. Overall, good value by Amsterdam standards, would definitely stay here again. Mehr

basic no frills room - small but very clean with small refrigerator and combination safe. Excellent location. Several flights of very steep stairs to get to most rooms and no elevator but help was provided to bring our luggage up. Reasonable price and good base to stay for Amsterdam visit.

"Its what we thought we'd get when booking"
Friendly helpful staff, can't fault them. Room small but adequate. We asked for a balcony room, which had a great view over the canal and church but also looked out onto a major busy road with trams, which is noisy particularly on Friday/Saturday night. If you're a light sleeper this isn't good. Having said that the location is pretty good, we would […] go back but would ask for a quieter room. Mehr
"Great but small"
We loved the location. The breakfasts and welcoming beverages were great. Everything was clean, but the room was really really small!
"Great value hotel"
A lovely little budget hotel. The staff are very friendly & nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are small but but are ensuite &contain coffee making facilities, a TV with English channels, a fridge & a safe. The breakfast room overlooks the Westernkirk & canal. Breakfast is uninspiring but the food was fresh & there was plenty of it. The location of […] the hotel is ideal for sightseeing. I would highly recommend the hotel but, like all of the older buildings in Amsterdam it would be impossible to negotiate the almost vertical stairs (the hotel is above a row of shops) if you have a mobility problem. I certainly could not take my elderly parents!!! Mehr

"Perfect location! Greatest staff!"
Killer steep stairs look scary but they have guys take your luggage for you. Rooms are typical europeon rooms small but fully functional. The staff was more than friendly, before I had any euros the lady at the desk lent me €5 to call home from their telcom. Location of the hotel is perfect. Time/Mins to locations by foot 5 to Ann frank 5 to Westerkerk […] church (church bells are beautiful to wake up or go to sleep to very peaceful) 10 to dam square 15 to red light 15 to central station 15 to rijks, van gogh 20 to Vondelpark there's a Internet place down the street but you can always just use the mac store. Bike rental couple of shops down. Canal bus pick up/drop off checkpoint 5 mins away. This hotel is in the best location for whatever you need 2 do in Amsterdam. Mehr
"Unique in a good way"
A great find. Don't let the unusual entrance worry you - a narrow doorway, no lobby, immediate steep staircase. You must ring to enter. The rooms were small but comfortable with lots of storage nooks. The location was extremely convenient to all of central Amsterdam and some rroms had balconies. Ours overlooked a canal. Breakfast was very nice. The […] staff were very accomodating . But if you have difficulty climbing stairs do not stay here otherwise we consider this a great find for the money. Mehr
"good location, accommodating staff"
The Nadia hotel is one of the quirkiest hotels I have ever stayed at (and I dont mean that in a bad way!) the buildings in amsterdam are all canal houses that are many stories high- so in this case, there are many steep staircases in this hotel- and no elevator- which was fine for us- but we were on the 4th floor, and considered it our daily exercise! […] The staff was great with giving directions and food recommendations. The rooms are very small- almost like a cruise ship type room, but again- my husband and I didnt mind, since we werent spending a lot of time in the room. If you are looking for a spacious place with a large bathroom- this would not be the place. The daily breakfast was basic but good, exactly what we would have wanted. The staff switched our room immediately when we complained that someone on our hallway was smoking, and we had our window open and our whole room wreaked like smoke (even though it is a non smoking hotel) so that was nice, and it definitely helped the problem. They moved our luggage for us and everything. Overall, I would recommend it to others- great location, and they helped us with our needs. Mehr
"localização razoável"
Satisfatória, mas achei o quarto muito apertado e um banheiro minúsculo e desconfortável. O café da manhã o mais simples possível.
"Hôtel sympathique"
Notre chambre était minuscule. On s'est posé des questions quand à la propreté à notre arrivée. Les escaliers sont litéralement mortels. Par contre, Personnel sympathique. Hôtel relativement bien placé. Convient parfaitement comme point de chute pour dormir.
