Was absolutely disappointed due to the fact that I reserved it for 5 people and upon arrival the room only had 2 beds and when we asked for a cot for the 5th person was told they did not allow those. Hotel was well maintained inside and out. Price was very reasonable. Front desk staff on the afternoon shift could have been friendlier although I must say the woman apologized profusely when I made her aware of how her actions could be perceived as rude. Was very surprised and pleased with how nice the room was. Had a small but nice sitting area. Bed […] was VERY comfortable. I reserved a standard double non smoking room online. The hotel did not have any non smoking room available. The charged me for the upgrade to a king non smoking. I was refunded the next morning! A very clean hotel, the bathroom was spotless. The mattress and pilllows were uncomfortable. I wish I had remembered to bring my own pillow. We were supposed to be on a nonsmoking floor/room but got out of the elevator the first night and the entire floor smelled like cigarettes. Yuck! "Nice Hotel / Very Good Breakfast"
This hotel was pretty decent. We liked the location as the neighborhood was quiet, yet close to a main highway. There was a nice family restraunt in the adjacent parking lot. We were disappointed the pool area did not have a hot tub, and the pool seemed plenty cold for my wife and I. Also, there was a bit of hair in our bathroom, which did not impress […] us, but it wasn't bad enough to complain to the front desk about. Our room had a jacuzzi in it, and we did enjoy that very much.....and there was room for two! :) The breakfast had a very nice selection, and we ate up! Overall, we were happy with the hotel. Staff very helpful. Generally enjoyed our visit. Would suggest a close review of your rooms by maintenance. Dimmer above our hot tub did not work, and one bulb was burned out. Stopper in bath tub would not work. Water pressure not good at sink. These are small but irritating things. We stayed at this hotel for a wedding in Fort Wayne. We arrived early, as did quite a few other people attending the wedding, to get ready. Unfortunately the rooms were not ready and check in time was not until 3:00 pm. But, the girl at the desk was just nasty to everyone that tried to check in early. We stayed over Christmas weekend. The staff was very friendly. Hotel conveniently located near family, friends, and shopping. The hotel was fairly new so very clean.
