Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Zimmer war sauber und ruhig .Der Shuttleservice funktioniert mit gutem Service. Das Frühstück hält was es verspricht, das Restaurant ist absolut zu empfehlen . Auch unsere Frankfurter Freunde sind begeistert. Insgesamt--- ideales Hotel für Flughafengäste.

Die Nacht war eine der unruhigsten, die ich seit Jahren in einem Hotel verbracht habe. Es ging die ganze, wirklich, die ganze Nacht, ein unglaublicher Laerm um. Erst die feiernden Gaeste aus dem Restaurant. Um halb drei bis viertel nach drei nachts ein Stuehle- und Tischeruecken und Getrampel, dass an Schlaf nicht mehr zu denken war. Auf dem Steinboden […] des unteren Stockwerks hoert man selbst mit Ohrenstoepsel jeden kleinsten Laut - Ab halb fuenf ging es mit den Rollkoffern, vermutlich der Flugbegleiter, weiter. Von den Rezeptionsangestellten kam eine sehr knappe Entschuldigung, die der schlaflosen Nacht in keiner Form Rechnung getragen hat. - Offensichtlich ist dem Management das Wohlbefinden seiner Gaeste ziemlich egal, also wird sich auch nichts aendern. Wer am naechsten Tag in irgendeiner Form fit sein will oder moechte, sollte das Hotel meiden und auf eines der anderen Flughafenhotels, die es zahlreich gibt, ausweichen. Mehr

Das Hotel ist eigentlich ganz schön. Die Zimmmer sind ordentlich und zweckmäßig-modern ausgestattet.Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist für die Übernachtung gut. Das Frühstück war auch gut, allerdings mit 13,-€ nicht gerade günstig. Die Lage ist Ok. Zum Zentrum in Frankfurt sind es bei einiegermaßen flüssigem Verkehr ca. 15 -20 Minuten. I had booked a night at the Carathotel Frankfurt. As a result of a massive storm with almost hurricane-force winds, my flight to Frankfurt was cancelled after waiting at the airport for almost five hours. I then had to book a night hotel accommodation in Stockholm and tried to cancel my booking at Carathotel at Frankfurt airport at 18.00. In typical […] rigid German fashion, I was put on hold for 10 minutes while an unprofessional and clueless receptionist talked to her manager and I explained my situation to her. She then put me through to her manager who was as stiff as a street pole. "No madam, that is not our problem. You booked a hot rate and it is not cancellable." Boy, talk about the need for some training in how to show understanding and compassion, not to mention a bit of flexibility. I will never ever book this hotel again...if they are this unflexible and unfriendly before you even get in the door, goodness knows what it's like when you're actually staying with them. Come on Carathotel, you work in the hospitality industry - smile, be personal and show a bit of warmth and understanding that sometimes, in extreme cases, things, life and reservations change. Even if you had offered me a chance to rebook next time I stay at Frankfurt airport, or if I had to pay a 50% cancellation fee, I would have been happy that at least you tried to meet me half way or to help me with a solution. No, a rule is a rule and be sure you are going to stick 200% to that damn rule! What are you going to say if your hotel has to shut for a day for some reason: "Sorry Madam, the hotel has to close for the day, this is beyond our control and we recommend youfind yourself another property to stay at.. Mal für die schnelle ganz nett und modern. Mich hat nur gestört, dass das Waschbecken viel zu klein war und dazu noch mit der Ablage so blöd gebaut wurde, dass man sich nicht ordentlich das Gesicht waschen konnte ohne gleich alles Unterwasser zusetzen. Die Duschumstellung hat auch nicht funktioniert. Einzelbett sehr groß und sehr weich. Das Frühstück […] fand ich für das was angeboten wird zu teuer. Mehr

Die Nähe zum Flughafen beinhaltet offensichtlich Autolärm am Hotel, nur mit geschlossenem Fenster zu schlafen. Da der Shuttelservice nur stündlich verkehrt, stimmten Zeiten nicht mit unseren überein, daher Taxi erforderlich, also zusätzliche Kosten. Wir haben eine Nacht im Carat-Hotel geschlafen, da der Weiterflug am nächsten Morgen war. Die Abholung und der Transfer am nächsten Morgen haben einwandfrei geklappt. Hier entstehen keine weiteren Kosten. Die Fahrtzeit von ca. 15 Minuten ist akzeptabel. Wir hatten gehofft, durch die Entfernung von Fluglärm verschont zu werden, was auch der Fall war. […] Allerdings liegt das Hotel nahe an der Eisenbahntrasse, so dass es immer wieder zu starker Lärmbelästigung durch Züge kommt. Wir mussten 5 mal anrufen und richtig Druck machen um abgeholt zu werden. Scheinbar waren 2 Personen für den Shuttle zu wenig und so ließ man uns fast 2 Std. in der Kälte stehen. Wenn wir das gewusst hätten hätten wir ein anderes Hotel gebucht. FA

Die Lage des Hotels ist gut für uns (Nähe zum Flughafen). Die Umgebung ist ziemlich laut (Autobahn und Bahn). Das Restaurant und das Frühstücksbuffet sind gut, das Personal sehr freundlich. Erwähnenswert ist auch die Möglichkeit, das Auto gegen ein geringes Entgelt während der Ferien auf dem Hotelparkplatz stehen zu lassen (Gratis Shuttle zum Flugh […] afen). Mehr

Clean and comfortable, and the staff was extraordinarily helpful... front desk asked the airport shuttle driver to turn around and come back for us, even though he had just left, and he cheerfully did so. Perfect for budget minded people waiting for a flight at Frankfurt Airport. The shuttle service was great, but be sure to tell them your arrival/departure times to book it. Having an affordable restaurant in-house was very nice since there isn't much going on in the neighborhood. But coming from California, calling it "Mexican Food" is a stretch :) […] WiFi is free, which is a major plus. Mehr

Hotels around the Frankfurt airport are crazy expensive. I booked this for one night prior to a return flight. It was one of the lesser expensive hotels near the airport with a shuttle and wifi, which were my requirements when choosing. Room very small with minimal comforts but it was clean as well as the rest of the hotel. Shuttle runs hourly and is […] not very big so you need to sign up the night before to make sure you get a seat. I don't think there is any place to eat within a reasonable walking distance. It is a standard hotel with poor wifi connection and not much to do in the area. Expensive for what is on offer, but good for a night between flights at Frankfurt airport. Specially the free shuttle pick up & drop off.

We stayed overnight as our plane arrived at 8pm and our connection wasn't until the next day at 1pm. This was a good choice for a quick rest. The hotel was clean and the staff was good. The shuttle to and from the airport was right on time.

Pretty good for shuttle in the morning, but returning to the hotel after returning a bit more difficult. We missed the shuttle by 10 minutes and the next one was 2 hours later. We ended up taking a cab ~25 euro.

This hotel works fine is you have to sleep one night and go back to Airport. It has a free shuttle and its decent. But it doesn't work for long stays. The Staff is not friendly at all, specially the waiters in the restaurant. Remember to bring Euros, If you don't and only show up with dollars the treat you like you are showing them money from Zimbabwe. […] I would consider different options before choosing this hotel, but if I can't find any real good, I would go for it. Nice value with airport shuttle. Not much in the area so you are at the mercy of the hotel's mexican restaurant, but it is not bad and has some traditional german fare as well. Staff is friendly, room was clean.

Location and value are the primary reasons I chose this hotel. It was reasonably priced and offered shuttle service to the airport. It works for a night after arriving in to Frankfurt International Airport, or a flight out the next day, but I would be disappointed if I had to stay multiple nights. The halls looked like they needed a good paint job […] and the carpet was pretty out of date. The furniture was fair. The bed was soft, but I slept well enough and the bathroom and shower was clean. It met the minimums at a fair price compared to the other hotels in the area. I would stay again in transit, as I was in this visit, but not on a vacation to the city. Mehr

I slept just one night, it was just for connection flight I had in the next day, however the hotel offers you a very good service for the price you pay. The room and bathroom was very clean and bed really confortable. Also the hotel offers you a free shuttle to the airport and there is a great mexican restaurant in there!

We needed a room by the airport for one night. The hotel was clean and the room was plenty big enough for the three of us. We each had our own bed. We could get to Frankfurt by walking about 15 minutes to the train station. Then Frankfurt was about a 20 minute train ride. The person at the hotel desk spoke English which was very helpful.

I had a little trouble there in my stay the week before with the internet and I told them so that i would get a room perhaps closer to the router. For my trouble thehy upgraded my room at no charge. Excellent service

The hotel was very convenient for flying out of Frankfurt Airport. The free shuttle service made getting to the hotel from the train station and then to the airport the next day very easy! Free Internet was a plus! The breakfast included a wide variety of food and drinks including scrambled eggs, rolls, meat and cheese, fruit, juices, coffee, etc.

We had a terrible experience, not getting getting picked up at the airport for all most 2 hours. All tho' they supplemented us with a glass of wine.

Since we were dropping off our car for shipping to the US in the area, the hotel was very convenient and offered shuttle service to the airport. The room was clean and the staff friendly. The elevator was quite slow. Like most of the hotels in this area, it is a mixed hotel/industrial area but safe to walk to the nearby village.

I think if you need the airport shuttle, this is great. I envisioned it RIGHT at the airport...but its about 10 minutes away by car. Worked great for us though
