Pro: schöner Blick (aus 6. Etage) direkte Metroanbindung nettes Zimmer Contra: ganz schön laut (Türen fallen schwer ins Schloss und lauter Verkehr) Fazit: für Pariser Verhältnisse ein super Mittelklassehotel. Würden wir nochmal machen!

Einfaches, sauberes Hotel, günstig gelegen, Metrostation auf der Rückseite des Hotels, nur wenige Gehminuten zur Sacrecoeur, abends etwas laut durch die Straßenlokale in direkter Nachbarschaft, aber noch erträglich. Unser kleines Zimmer wirkte auf den ersten Blick wie ein Kinderzimmer mit lustiger Froschlampe und fröhlich bunter Garten-Klapptischgarnitur […] als "Sitzecke". Für unsere Bedürfnisse war das Hotel aber ok. Wir würden wieder hingehen! Mehr

The Hotel was not clean and needs refurbishment. The walls were painted has if you would be in Kindegarden...

Das Hotel ist genial für Kurzaufenthalte. Es liegt super zentral am Mont Matre aber leider an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße. Wenn man aber in Paris ist und sich viel ansieht, ist man müde und uns hat es gar nicht gestört. Die Zimmer sind sauber, das Personal nett und die Gegend super. Für Kurzaufenthalte zu empfehlen.

zu dritt wurden wir in ein winziges Zimmer gequetscht, die nächste Renovierung ist überfällig, die Umgebung ist sehr laut - ich war froh, meine Ohropax dabei zu haben! Aber die Lage ist genial, zu Fuß zur Sacre Coer, jede Menge Bistros - toll! Für kurze Aufenthalte sicher möglich, es muss aber bessere Hotels für das Geld geben...

Dieses Hotel eignet sich für Kurzurlauber sehr gut. Es hat eine tolle Metro-Anbindung und liegt in einem belebten Viertel. Das Zimmer war sauber und die Angestellten sehr nett.

Wir waren Zufrieden, nur drei Sachen haben uns etwas gestöhrt, 1. In einem Zimmer hatte es keinen Duschvorhang, so musste man in der Badewanne sitzend Duschen. 2. Die Fenster dürften besser sein da auf der einen Seite die Hauptstrasse ist und auf der Anderen der Abgang zur Metro was immer mit Lärm verbunden war. 3. Der Speiseraum hat zu viele Bistrotische […] drin, die ja eh schon zu klein sind, das man Platz hätte zum Essen. Aber das ist in Frankreich nun mal so. Mehr

hotel simple but clean, location great, just around corner of metro Lamarck (either up the stairs and left, or if with luggage turn right and walk around corner), walls very thin, if room is towards street quite loud (earplugs), better request room side alley, room size ok, you are not spending much time there anyway, simple furniture (garden style), […] 2 chairs, 1 small table, big enough for having small meals (supermarket 5 min away, bakery just around the corner), mattress has seen better days, shower curtain would be great. reception & staff very friendly. 15 min to mont matre. will stay there again next time. Hotel was in convenient location, close to metro and in walking distance to Sacre Coeur Basilica. Room was very small as expected. It was ok for a 2 night stay, but would opt for higher quality hotel for longer stay. Shuttle to airport is convenient and less expense than cab fare. Staff was adequate but not overly friendly.

Great location, we also had a corner room on the third floor with a great view of the street downstairs. Few little quirks-- they cleaned the room everyday even when twice we put up "do not disturb" signs! and also, twice during our one-week stay the fire alarm went off (VERY LOUDLY) and stayed on for about 10 minutes.... false alarm both times.

Decent hotel for the money if your expectations are not too high. Metro stop right next door is super convenient to get anywhere in the city. Overall good value for the money in expensive Paris.

I was looking for a bargain near Sacre Couer and close to a Metro stop. I found all three in this charming 2 star hotel. I have been to Paris many times and know what to expect in budget hotels: small rooms and bathrooms; narrow stairs and two person elevators; a small salon for breakfast. Given Paris's expensive hotels the Roma Sacre Coeur is relatively cheap and in this case you get what you pay for. This was a case of how many rooms could they cram into the available space, My room had limited hanging space, no drawers and a tiny shower room. The staff consisted of one usually helpful man at the front desk and a cleaner for the room […] which on my three night stay was cleaned once, The room was however warm and generally clean and the shower worked well. Breakfast was not included but could be bought at an extra price. I found it better to have breakfast locally which was easy. Mehr

The staff were very accommodating and friendly and helped us out whenever needed. The location is great, many restaurants close by, and being right next to the metro makes it very easy to get around Paris.

We were only interested in a romantic weekend around Montmartre for our anniversary, so this this hotel was well-placed, and conveniently located near a Metro station (line 12, Lamarck Caulaincourt station). Fantastic location,right next to Metro Station.Room was basic but very clean.Would defo stay here again.if your looking to do Paris on a budget,then this hotel is superb value for money.

Hotel is conveniently located to the metro but it is a distance to the main tran station ( Paris gare Lyon) and airports ( Orly airport). The room I got was very small and the hotel did not do housekeeping. They only changed towels every two days. Great for budget and location conscious travelers.

2 min walk to metro station! Rum was very small but clean, very humid... The bigger rum is much better, so if you book - look for bigger one! 10 min walk to Montmartre and about 15 min to walk to Moulin Rouge! Anyhow I recommend it!

I stayed at the beginning of December, and was greeted warmly at reception. My room was on the sixth floor and had a lovely view. It was clean and as comfortable as I could want, with a small but perfectly fine bathroom. The only negative comments I can make was the interesting decor - very artistic. The Sacre Couer is in easy walking distance, as are many shops and restaurants. The area felt very safe, even though I was a young woman travelling alone. Just a cheap hotel.

This hotel is extremely convienient, with the closest metro station only across the road. It was a comfortable and quite stay, however do not get a room on the top floor, the stairs are far too dangerous to get up with bags. Great location. Close to metro which was a short distance to main attractions in Paris, and lots of cafes and places to eat around the hotel. Hotel itself was cheap and cheerful- we did not pay very much at all- so did not have high expectations of the place. Our room was pretty basic, but was big given paris standards. Good place if looking for somewhere […] cheap, in a good/cute area, and not going to spend a lot of time in the room. The hotel is historic since Paul Gauguin stayed there at one point. In fact, the hotel was in the midst of renovations which included having murals painted on the walls of the hotel inspired by actual Gauguin paintings. The hotel is right next to a Paris metro stop which can take you anywhere you need to go in the city. It's conveniently located near […] Sacre Coeur, Montmartre Cemetery, Moulin Rouge, and any number of restaurants, shops, and markets all within walking distance. The staff is friendly and the service was excellent. If you can afford the extra cost, get a room with a view. Just note that breakfast is NOT included. If I were to complain about anything, the room for the toilet was cramped, but not unexpected for such an old building. The shower lacked a curtain, and the shower head was functional, but the mount was broken and could not be adjusted to accommodate a tall guest. The elevator is VERY small and not recommended if you are claustrophobic. As previously mentioned, the hotel was undergoing renovations so occasionally halls were dark and workers were in the way. The hotel is in bad conditioned, old and dirty, could not properly cover the window to take a shower, the window handle fell down, one of the worst matress for a long time ... On our arrival we were given another room cause someone else had ours: bad starting ... from here everything went worse. My only thought was I am only here one night so tomorrow […] I am gone. It's not terrible, but not wonderful either. Our room was very small. In the corners, there was a lot of dirt. The first morning, the shower didn't have hot water. Once, when we came back around midnight, the front desk person was not there and the front door was locked, so we had to wait for 10 minutes to get inside the hotel (even after ringing the […] bell several times) while trying not to make contact for a couple of shady individuals hanging around in the vicinity. The hotel is very convenient to the metro (and there is an elevator there); however, that metro line doesn't go anywhere useful. You have to transfer at St. Lazare, and you literally have to walk over 5 minutes through very stinky tunnels full of beggars to transfer to another line. Mehr

We had this bad luck in Montmartre that a heavy rainfall cut the electricity out for 2 days in our neighborhood during my stay. Of course there were lots of inconveniences and ppl got irritated for not even able to have a bath (it was 14c averagely for those 2 days) But the hotel staffs worked hard to make up for the situation and cheered us up. the advantage was that it s near the metro station. however, I did not like the quality, it was not clean, very old and the room was so small. I wont go there again.

I have had a wonderful one night stay with my mum, the hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful and I find it a blessing that the room comes with a mini bar (a fridge which I used to keep my supermarket shopping cold) and WIFI. Not many hotels provide mini bar and WIFI given this price! Love the location too, very close to Sacre Coeur, truly had […] a memorable stay here. Mehr

This place was fine for a quick stay, and it was very close to the metro. Service was friendly, and everything was clean. We had a nice view. However my friends and I are wondering if there was bedbugs!! Also the electricity went out for one night.

I did not like at all.

This hotel is very close to the Lamark-Calaincourt metro stop. There are tabacs, boulangeries and restaurants within walking distance. The staff speak English. The decor is very bright and colorful, but there was some renovation going on when we were there. Our room was clean.

The hotel Roma has a super location but definitely needs a coat of paint and new carpets as well as little repairs. The staff were pretty good in general but our room was super noisy the first night and they were unable to move us to a quieter one. It seemed better after that and we bought ear plugs. The location of this hotel is great-- one flight of stairs above a metro station and a 10 minute walk from Sacre Couer. The neighborhood is fairly residential and I felt safe walking around. There is a grocery store two blocks away. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful with directions, and let me leave a bag at the hotel for a few hours. There is no air conditioning, so you must leave your widows open. The building faces on a busy street and the constant roar of the motor cycles will keep you awake until at least 2am. The only good thing about this hotel is location. The blankets are scary to touch! Looked like they have not been washed. The kids were stuck in the very tiny elevator then the elevator did not work for 3 days. 6 floors to climb every night when you are tired coming back in the hotel. But I always say, hotel is not important. You just need a place to […] sleep! But you can't sleep! You hear all the cars all night and people talking. We stayed here for four nights on the top floor in a room with a balcony - which had a table and chairs - and a view of the Sacre Coeur. The decor was eccentric but amusing. The beds were very comfortable. The service was consistently friendly and helpful. There was a small lift (three persons) to the sixth floor and then a short flight of stairs to […] the 7th. The breakfast was expensive, for what it was, but there were plenty of cafes and food shops nearby.The location was good: a Metro station just below, a pleasant restaurant, well-patronised by local people just next door, and a Tabac etc. nearby. Ideal location for exploring Montmartre but also good for anyone making for the sights of central Paris. It took us about 40 minutes to walk to the Seine/Louvre and about 15 minutes by Metro. (We never got the hang of using the buses.) There was some traffic noise at night but the use of ear plugs mitigated this considerably. Mehr

The surrounding area is nice and very close to Sacred Heart which has a great view of Paris and a metro stop is right around the corner which is hard to argue with. Despite some gripes, I would definitely recommend Hotel Roma Sacre Coeur. We stayed in a room on the "first floor" which is really second floor, but in France, the ground level is not counted... Our room did not have AC, a shower curtain, or a working holder for the shower spout (on a hose). However, the room was fairly quiet at night, the bed was […] comfortable, and it luckily did not get too hot while we stayed there (late April). We did not pay for the included breakfast, since you can find restaurants nearby or buy food from nearby stores...(BTW, great Boulangerie and Fromagerie just down the street) Pros: - Location, location, location: near a subway, located in a safe and lovely Paris suburb, located near Sacre Coeur (10 minute walk), located near grocery stores, restaurants, and did I mention it is located right next to a subway station (1 minute away), so you can get to anywhere in Paris very quickly... - Inexpensive - Relatively quiet at night (quiet neighborhood) - Free Internet (good enough to make VoiP calls here and there) - Staff was overall friendly Cons: - No AC in our room (I believe you can pay extra for AC or for a fan, bud did not confirm, since wasn't needed) - No curtain for tub/shower, only a limited functioning half door --> so water spilled on the floor and couldn't take a comfortable shower - Clamp for shower spout on end of shower hose was broken, so couldn't take a shower easily --> resulted in needing to half shower half bathe Mehr

This was a great hotel, free wifi, great location, easy access to the metro, helpful staff and a good bakery just down the street. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good non expensive hotel in Paris. The only slight downside was we stayed on the 6th floor and they decorate each room slightly different and we had an odd angel with […] an upside down head. Mehr
