Ramada Naples - Naples

Wir haben eine Woche Urlaub in Naples verbracht und haben mit Ramada das richtige Hotel gefunden. Das Zimmer war groß genug für 2 Eltern und 2 Kinder, das Frühstück war toll, das Team war sehr freundlich, und die Lage (5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Hauptbahnhof) war perfekt.

Right by the train station. Nice hotel, efficient. On a busy, noisy street. They were nice and let us keep out luggage overnight while we went down to Pompei.

very nice hotel, lovely staff.good central location for station/airport connections. the neighbourhood is rough, really rough. didnt dare leave hotel after dark!

The price was good, the staff were friendly, close to the train station, comfortable room. Every thing was perfect.

We choose this hotel mainly because we want to travel to Pompei and the hotel is close to train station. Water not hot enough at the beginning, but when we reflect this to the hotel, they fix it and it is fine.

This is very near to Train station. most of the time this hotel has some conference. so people come and go.. surrounding area is not that great. No walk by restaurant. Hotel diner service is costly and quantity wise they offer kids meal size. room is OK, not that great. Internet is free in lobby. very helpful in keeping the luggage after the check out […] time. Our first trip to Naples was brilliant based on this hotel. The city is chaotic, dirty, surprising, and a comfortable hotel is needed. The location was around the corner from main terminal and another local train is right outside the front door of the hotel. This is convenient for day trips to Pompeii, etc. The cross streets however don't have a safe […] feel to them and don't have many services. Because of this, the hotel works really hard to make your stay pleasant and worth it. Breakfast is incredible, both European and Western styles, lots to choose from, never running short of anything. The room and bath were clean and comforting after long days in the city or day trips. My partner and I felt great here and would totally stay again. The cost was also very worth the service. Mehr

Great hotel in a terrible area near Napoli Centrale. I expected the area to be better since it's the gateway to their city. Terrible area. I couldn't even walk with my luggage thru the streets since they don't have sidewalks in this area. Trash was everywhere and had to throw my bags into traffic so that cars could stop and allow me to cross the crosswalk. […] I was only in Naples so that I could visit Pompeii... I found out that I could've paid my visit from Rome which is 1000X better than Naples. Mehr

The hotel is very good every staff are helpfull the location is wonderfull just steps from the central station. confortables rooms breadfast incluyed and everithin good including price. The surounding areas is all Napols problem so nathing the hotel can do.

We had to make an emergency trip to Naples to visit an ailing relative and chose this place because of its easy access to public transportation (trains & buses). The staff was extremely courteous and accommodating. Luca was charming as he greeted us at the desk when we checked in and remembered our names every time he saw us. Naples in general is quite a rough city. The hotel is close to the train station and that was convenient. At check in the staff suggested that we remove our jewllery when heading out to venture in the city. We took their advice seriously and removed what we were wearing except our wedding rings. This hotel has seen better days, catering mainly to large tour groups. It's only real benefit is its proximity to Central Station and the Metro - easy access to Pompeii and other rail destinations. The area it is in is not appealing and I would not venture out alone at night - there is a restaurant in the hotel which is alright. I would recommend it for a brief overnight stay on the way to or from the station, but not as a base form which to explore Naples. Mehr

Great hotel, friendly staff in a great location next to main train station. Naples itself is a like a dump with all the rubbish on every street corner. This hotel provided a safe clean location away from all the rubbish on the streets.

Naples is a great base of operations for visits to the archaeological sites at Pompeii, Herculaneum and other fascinating places, and this hotel is convenient to the train station. It's not exactly a scenic area, but is convenient. My only complaint is that the air conditioning in the rooms didn't work very well. The station area is not so impressive in Naples, and there is a big pile of trash next to the hotel. The hotel itself is quite clean large, espeically the bathroom. Plus, AC works great and it can be really cold in the room. In addition, the hotel's lcoation means you can just cross the street and jump on the train to Pompei or Surrendo, Capri, Almafi. […] At 4.5 euro, you can get a daily pass to the Circumvesuviana train. Your stay at the hotel will probably be a good one, but the surrounding neighborhood is not the type to take a walk. Yet, you might find that having the train station a block away (and the station to Pompey even closer, maybe 50 meters away) is worth not being in a nice part of town.

Ettori, I believe is the name of the closest excellent- and it was excellent restaurant close to the train station-Da Michelle for Pizza - amazing and also close. The garbage on the street was disgusting and not healthy. Naples needs to be discovered from all around not just near this location.

Great hotel. Very helpful staff. especially front desk. Area is grungy, lots of garbage in the streets, large pile on sidewalk just outside of the entrance

The room and general standard of the hotel is very good, however we were very disappointed by the evening meal in the restaurant, poorly organized service and badly cooked food sold at a premium price.

The Ramada Naples is a haven against the grim and horribleness out side its windows. The rooms are nice size. The lobby is beautiful and clean. However, the restaurant wait staff and some of the front desk people were less than friendly. At the restaurant, while people at Italian speaking tables were helped, we were practically ignored. We were hoping […] for American style hospitality, but the Ramada Naples fell short. If you have to go to Naples, it's an okay place to stay. But don't expect to be warmly treated just because it is an American hotel. Mehr

Located near main train station which you will need in order to go to Amalfi, Capri, Sorrento, Positano, Pompeii, Rome. But there are also other routes via land or water. Lots of decent restaurants around the circle in front of the train station. And walking distance to tourist spots. If you like walking, this hotel is great, but make sure you have […] good support shoes because most street are cobbled. Excellent buffet breakfast, friendly & accommodating staff, clean. We arrived a little early than check in time, and our room was not ready yet, they offered us a business suite room which was beyond my expectation. The room and bathroom was huge, had conference room and plenty of space to move around. Free internet access in the lobby. Was a splendid experience. Mehr

The room was clean enough but the staff was not helpful when it came to information regarding travel. They said we could use our laptop and even gave us a password and nothing worked. Breakfast was decent and it is right next to the train station. Every question was answered with a "yes" but little was delivered upon. I would recommend avoiding this […] hotel and Naples all together. Totally scummy city with trash piled high everywhere. Go straight from the airport to the southern coast. Mehr

The Ramada Naples is situated 5 mins walk from the Main train station - Its a clean and comfy hotel that seems to cater for a lot of tours. The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. Do be aware though that the hotel is not in the nicest location, the streets around are dirty smelly and busy. Great location though for the circumvesuvian line - Station […] is 10 metres over the road and gives access quickly to the historic sites of pompeii and Herculanium. Out of our 5 stays during the trip in Europe this was the best hotel and the least expensive as well. The surroundings are a little bit lively, but so is the whole Naples. Very conveniently located next door to the train station and not far from the center of Naples - walking distance (20 min). The hotel itself is great, rooms are big and clean and […] convenient. An excellent hotel friendly staff, always willing to help and greet you with a smile, the room was very spacious and clean. The price was very good for what I got. The downside to this hotel is the location, but I suppose if I wanted to pay a little extra I would have got a better location. We got to the hotel at about 10pm to find out the resturant was closed so they agreed to make us grilled cheese sandwiches which was nice. The hotel lobby and staff were nice the room however was very old and air conditioning did not work so it was about 86 degrees all night. The shower was small with a showerhead that sprayed everywhere except your […] head. We complained about the air conditioning and were told it was working. Horrible neighborhood right near train station. Only good thing was that is was near the airport for our early departure. Mehr

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was very close to the Naples train station with easy access to other sites to see in the Naples area. The staff was very nice to us during our stay. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Naples.

Bra hotell nära stationen i Neapel. Vi använde det för en övernatttning innan vi fortsatte neråt kusten med tåget.

Apesar de estar localizado próximo a estaçao de trem, considerado. Funcionários atenciosos, excelente café da manha. Falta internet wifi gratúita no quarto. O hotel vale pelo custo benefício.

ナポリという町が、ゴミが散らかっていてイタリア北部の都市と比較すると、治安の悪いイメージがありますが、このホテルはナポリ中央駅から徒歩5分程度で行けアクセス良好です。 室内も非常に広く清潔で街の喧騒から離れてリラックスできる空間です。 朝食ブッフェのパンやドリンクの種類の豊富さもうれしかったです。

The price is very good, luggage keeping service, location, room cleaning are all good but napoli-city is very dirty.

Hotellet har sikkert været et af byens fineste, da det blev indrettet. Nu bærer det præg af at det er bygget for noget tid siden og har gamle installationer. Fx fungerer varme og vand ikke optimalt (vi måtte lade vandet løbe i mere end 15 min at få varmt vand i hanen om morgenen). Ligger ved stationen på en traffikeret vej, men vinduerne er nye, så […] selvom vi boede på 1. sal ud til vejen var der ikke larm. Morgenmaden var rigelig med der var ikke frisk kaffe, hvilket man normalt finder på selv det mindste hotel i Italien - kun neskaffe-automat! Godt hotel til den billige pris vi fik. Mehr

This is a comfortable hotel and the price we got was low indeed compared to the quality of the hotel in general and of the rooms. The reason for this low price, however, lies in the hotel's location. While it is comfortably located near the central train station, the surroundings area appalling. Prostitutes, illegal trade just about everywhere, drug […] addicts, etc. If you can, don't go out at night without taking a cab, especially on your way back. Having said that, the experience at the hotel per se was very good - clean and comfortable rooms (albeit a bit 'standard business rome-like) and friendly professional service. Mehr
