It is a recommended hotel, the location is excellent. If I visit Ho Chi Ming Hotel in the future, I will stay in this hotel again.

The hotel located in the best district, all the major tourist sites are within walking distance. The room is huge, you can have a small run inside. But the staffs are not very nice, especially to those on the reception deskZ. Still, if I go to Saigon, I will visit this hotel again.

This hotel has beautiful French architecture and perfect location. Just ask for a room NOT looking out on Dong Khoi where there is a construction going on. Park Hyatt's staff is impersonal, not warm or friendly, and some of them showed some disdain for me as an Vietnamese American with an American husband, I only wish there is brighter light in their bathroom. Travelled to Ho Chi Minh over Christmas. Continental Saigon was exactly what I was looking for.Authentic Vietnam style and plenty of character especially with the many predictable western style hotels now in Ho Chi Minh. Generally excellent. Room clean and spacious, everything worked as it should, nice environment. Bathroom a touch dated, but functioned well enough. Air con effective and pretty quiet. Rest of hotel was interesting to walk around, enjoyed the garden on the upper floor, drink in the bar was a nice touch. Good variety of breakfast. My wife enjoyed the […] massage. Pretty convenient location for us, within walking distance of many things that we were interested in. Downsides? Hmm, would've liked more sachets of coffee/sugar, as I drink it fairly voluminously, and there's a lovely looking baby grand piano in the lobby that I asked if I could play at least once each day I was there, and was refused. I'm a fairly keen hobby classical pianist, and would've been nice to have had 10-15 minutes just to practice. Overall, though, would definitely look at staying there again if returning to Saigon. Continental Hotel is indeed a nice hotel with a great location in the central District 1 of Saigon. Perhaps the hotel is a bit run down and does not present itself in its former glory but it is still a very charming place to stay within walking distance to many of the best tourist attractions, restaurants/bars and shopping areas. However, our overall […] impression of the hotel was ruined by the employees - especially the receptionists who were both arrogant and not at all service minded. Furthermore, their English language skills were surprisingly poor considering they work in a hotel with many international guests. First of all, we were given the wrong room of a lower standard. No double bed as requested, no balcony as promised, smoking room even though we had specifically requested a non smoking room etc. After some debate we were offered a better room. The receptionists could hardly be bothered with the guests' questions and we would often have to stand and wait for receptionists to find the time to attend to the guests. Usually they would not understand even simple questions in English and would have to get hold of a manager. Our room was spacious, nicely furnished and had a balcony facing the Opera House. It's not flash but it has style and the location is great..

Is a grand hotel, lovely big rooms. Was a bit noisy on the side facing a building construction over the road, so ask for a room facing the courtyard inwards, or at the other end. I knew going in based on reviews that the Continental would have some shortcomings. It was pretty much exactly what I was expecting. Can a room be too big? To sum it up, it was sad old building in need of some serious TLC but worth it just for the experience. My only complaint was the service. With the exception of 2 staff members who seemed to be switched […] on, the level of service was shocking - and I am not a high maintenance guest. The location is very central, opposite the Opera House and walking distance--cross those streets carefully!--to major sites like the Reunification Palace and the War Remnants Museum. The hotel is older and somewhat faded; it looks like is was once a 4- or 5-star hotel that is past its prime. Pros - strategic location - very pretty colonial bldg (it's like raffles hotel before renovation, i liked it a lot) - wifi / LAN both stayble (if any problem, very helpful guys will troubleshoot for you) - b'fast at patio is v nice (although limited choice of food) - room is very very spacious (good to put baby crib etc) Cons - shower pressure is v […] weak - bath room is very clean but also v old at the same time - especially on the weekend morning, they play loud music accorss the street, and it really is loud Overall, i loved it. We stayed 2 nights at the Continental and thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was clean and tidy and huge, just like it looked in the photo! Staff were all helpful and friendly. i travelled to Vietnam with my family - my parents and my brother & niece. As i was the one who made the travel bookings, i had to keep my fingers crossed that my choice of hotel was above satisfactory. And it was! CS is an easy walk to little shops and even to Ben Thanh Market. I discovered a little gemstone shop across the street a little too late […] & a little too short of shopping money! I had already pre-booked with a guide online to plan for our everyday tours and we are genuinely pleased with Octopus Travel's guide "Mai". One of our family member unfortunately experienced a hold-up at knifepoint on our second night so that dampened everyone's spirits to enjoy Vietnam to the fullest. Food is good almost in every place we went to and of course, it goes without saying that trung ngu yen coffee is one of the best in the world! I would love to go back to Vietnam... if i was not too scared to... Mehr

While not the newest or the best, this hotel has old world charm, good service, a sumptuous breakfast buffet and a decent workout room and spa. Rooms are spacious with a separate sitting room near window which is great for reading travel guides and relaxing, while bedroom remains darker for sleeping. Slightly worm around the edges but a really charming hotel. It had a bit more character than the other big chain hotels around it. The service was faultless and the location was about as good as you can get. In the posh bit of town and a short walk to the main sights.

The Saigon Continental has a style absent from modern hotels. The building is old but the atmosphere makes it worth it if you value the history of the place. The location is great and the rooms have all the conveniences you want, including free wi-fi. There are many restaurants close by and it's close to the main sights.

After staying at The Majestic & then booking into the Continental I was so so disappointed. The check-in was the fastest ever. However when I got to my room my jaw dropped. The bathroom was approx 1 star if it could be rated. Dated cracked pale blue tiles. Fittings from 1940. Felt unclean & didnt want to use it. The room itself was massive enough space […] for a family of 10 more like a large hall. When I asked if they had a nicer room we were told that this was already an upgrade. Breakfast was poor. When I asked for an expresso they straight away said yes but you will have to pay for it. Flies buzzing around the uncovered food. Poorly laid out. I booked this hotel for its history (Graham Greene stayed here). I had a very large room, with beautiful colonial-style furniture. Very pleasant stay altogether. I was especially impressed by the professional staff, recalling old-time courtesy. The water pressure was a tad too low in my bathroom, but otherwise everything was perfect.

Close to money exchange shop 100m down Dong Khoi twds river, close to HSBC air-conditioned ATM Hall, and other major sites eg the Market and Reunification Palace within easy walking. Cafe Centro (Italian) and Vietnamese restaurant Hoa Tuc very close (ask Reception). The porters were very helpful in lifting my wife' s mobility scooter down and up the […] steps. There was noise of repairs during the day and we were given a different room after complaining. Mehr

If you are looking for a charming hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and want the perfect location, you should book the Continental Saigon. Great value!

The room is very big for the value. The free breakfast is amazing.

The room was huge, and they give you fresh fruit and bottled water every day. Free Wireless internet and free breakfast included is a nice perk. The hotel is older so the rooms are a bit run down- green carpet, rust on the pipes.. but the location is stunning.

Its a beautiful historic hotel in a great location. the breakfast was great, and you can sit in their gorgeous courtyard. however, it's clearly an old hotel - the bathroom hadnt been renovated in many years... service was good, and location can't be beat.

The Continental is an amazing place to stay in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). What it make lack in frills and modern amenities it makes up for in location and ambience. The hotel has a great old feel, and the rooms are spacious and well-appointed. Great Location and very comfortable rooms, I would recommend staying at the Continental

一人で泊るにはものすごく広かったです。 レセプションの対応もよく、国営のつんけんした感じはまったくありませんでした。ポーターの方もものすごく親切。 扉を開けた時の感動のようなものがありました。 設備は古く、風呂の湯は最初黄色い水です。（バスソルトがあるのでそれ入れれば気になりません） あとシャワーの切り替えが最初分からずにあたふたしました。 ただ、値段がリーズナブルで、立地がものすごくよかったのでまたホーチミンに行ったら泊りたいと思いました。

現代型の最高級ホテルの設備と較べると不満があるかもしれませんが、１３０年の歴史もあり昔の白黒映画の主人公になった気分で現代型ホテルでは決して味あう事が出来ない経験が出来ました。中庭にあるテーブルで食べる朝食もとっても良かったです。中庭にある大きな木から自然に落ちてくる小さなお花も可愛らしく奇麗だったし、各テーブルに毎日お花が置いてあったのもとっても気に入りました。それから一階のカフェレストランで食べたプリンもとっても美味しかったです。 私の部屋は屋根の工事現場が丸見えだっのはちょっと残念でした。他の部屋も見てみましたが全く外が見えない部屋もあり予約の時にちゃんと確認した方が良いと思います。

Hotellet ligger midt i det fine strøket i byen. Alle kjente dyre butikker ligger rundt hotellet, samtidig så er det bare 5 minutter å gå til nærmeste lokale marked med alle mulige billige ting å kjøpe. Svære rom, gratis meget kjapt internett.

老舗ホテルということで泊まりました。部屋の大きさ、高い天井には満足しましたが、水回りか゛あまり良くなかった。特に水道からは茶色の水が出てきて大変驚きました。

Hotellet er fra 1880, og det er som at være tilbge i tiden, når man fx spiser morgenmad eller frokost i dn gamle gårdhav med palmer og tropiske høje træer. Hovedtrappen er ren nostalgi, og det er en oplevelse i sig selv at gp rundt på de lange gange med gammeldags højt til loftet og planter på gangarealet. とにかく歴史を感じる古さと水道をひねると出るのは茶色い水で、スタッフには欧米人のような親切さと笑顔は見当たらず、モーニングビュッフェは高級感はなく、カードキーは何故か不具合であった。 自分は格安であっても二度と選ばないであろう。 非常にわかりやすく便利な場所なので、ホーチミン初心者にはぴったりのホテルである。

部屋は古いが広い。古いので窓の気密が悪く、低層であることもあり夜中はクルマやバイクの音がうるさい。 バスルームはリニューアルしないと限界。 従業員は総じて愛想が無く、特にフロントの態度はお粗末。 チップの要らない国のはずなのに、チェックイン時に部屋まで案内したボーイがチップを要求。小銭を渡すと露骨に不満そうな顔をした。 レトロな雰囲気が好きな人には勧めるが、私は二度と泊まらないかも。

hotellet er litt slitent, det vises spesielt på badet. Rommene er store og koslig innredet. Det ligger rett ved en veldig traffikert gate, så noe støy er å regne med. Hotellet har perfekt beliggenhet midt i smørøyet til nesten alt. Frokosten var kjempe god med omelettbar og mye annet godt.

まず、立地は最高。それから外観も古い建物だけあって素敵。夜に到着し、夕食をルームサービスでオーダー。ベトナム料理のみ対応だったが、おいしかった。インターネットはWIFIだったが、滞在中は結局一度も繋がらなかった。部屋は掃除機をかけた跡があり大体は清潔。ただ、バスルームの排水溝が閉まっていて水が全然流れず、自信で排水溝の蓋をとって水を流した。チェックアウトの日、ホテル出発するのが13:00過ぎにしたら、通常のチェックアウト時間を遅らせて13:00にしてくれた。そんな話をしている横で、ホテルと他のお客がトラぶっていた。荷物を預けたままとか、もう返しただのと言って、その後、荷物が奥から出てきてもまだホテル側はいろいろ言っている様子だった。大きいホテルの割にはスタッフにプロらしさは全くなし。朝食は中 […] 庭でも食べることができるので、天候がよければ気持ちがいい。部屋はかなり広いので、大人数一部屋（3人、4人等）で泊るのには十分なスペースがあるからお勧めできる。ただ、一人旅やいわゆる「いいホテル」に宿泊しようと思う場合は、少し考えたほうがいいかも。 Mehr

Hôtel très bien placé au coeur du centre ville. C'est un hôtel chargé d'histoire. Les chambres sont vastes mais auraient besoin de petit travaux en particulier en ce qui concernent les Salles de Bains réellement désuettes. Bien tenu.

歴史あるホテルだけあって、その他の☆５ホテルに比べると設備はイマイチという感は否めませんが、それ以上に、広い部屋と良い意味での「古さ」が気に入りました。

ドンコイ通りの中心、オペラハウスの隣いう立地は何をするにも便利。市場へもサイゴン川へもデパートへもルイヴィトンはじめブランドショップへも徒歩で行けますし、隣にはデパートが2件。建物もフレンチコロニアルの素敵な雰囲気。但し、国営企業なのでサービスは推し量るべし。快適なルーム環境ではないし、朝食も雰囲気はいいが少々物足りない。それでも場所と雰囲気は捨てがたい。プールはないがグランドホテルへ泳ぎに行けばいい。私は好きです。
