"Quality of hotel service was exemplary."
This stay was the last night of a 41 day road trip up the east coast and out to Idaho. It snowed during the night while we were there in Evanston. The manager of the hotel went outside and scraped the snow off our car and made sure we were safe to drive! I thought that went above and beyond the call of duty! "Quiet and clean"
After a death in the family, my husband and I wanted to get away for a few days. We are only a couple hours from Evanston, so I chose this hotel because of its indoor pool. The staff was super helpful and friendly, the hotel was always clean and the breakfast was yummy. The pool and hot tub are small, but fit our needs. There is an adult store and a […] lounge located in the same lot at the hotel, but we were never bothered by the patrons. "Cut out the middle man"
The hotel was fine. However, we were told by the hotel.com rep that the hotel did not offer a military rate. When we checked in I found out that the hotel was paid the "military rate" while we were charged a higher rate with hotel.com pocketing the difference. Fine for a quick overnight, but the beds are too hard, especially if you are used to a pillow top mattresses. The tub drain was a little clogged; it began to fill with water while taking a shower. Did report it to the front desk upon checkout. There are no elevators for the 2nd floor, so if you have a lot of heavy luggage, then request the 1st floor.
