Berkeley Square Hotel - Bristol

The hotel is of a high standard, nice paintings on walls by local artists, met by very friendly staff, and the resturant offered a good standard of food, if a bit small on the portions. The half price deal with the local Nuffield gym (with pool, sauna), was very welcome.

To good thing about this hotel is its location and its price. My first stay was good, this time it was simply bad. The place needs work. The fridge was not working, internet timed out while I signed up for unlimited time, I wasn't alble to print my boarding pass, emails with my boarding pass did not arrive at the reception desk, their printer was out […] of toner, the restaurant could not be used because of parties by others, loud music, an elevator that should have been replace a zillion years ago, etc. etc. Staf is really nice though. As said, this place needs work. Mehr

This hotel has friendly staff. The foyer could be bigger. The bathroom of Room 11 is defintely in need of a refurbishment (rust around bath and sink, discoloured tile grouting etc.). The hotel is central Bristol and within easy walking distance of everything. A little expensive compared to similar hotels. However, I would stay again.

Very convenient to the Triangle and University, but in a relatively quiet area. Converted house, as is common in the UK. Has an elevator. Restaurant downstairs is decent, club too. Other restaurants and some shops (incl supermarket) within walking distance.

The staff are fantastic, polite, helpful and very charming. However, the executive double rooms are tiny - and luckily we managed to upgrade. I was really disappointed with the original room as there wasn't enough room to swing a dead cat and a horrible view of a brick parapet which was so close to the window it added a claustrophobic feel. The hotel is over priced as the rooms are small and basic but the hotel staff are friendly and the hotel is in a great location.

The hotel was good and clean but the bed was very inconvenient. The mattress was too soft and i got a single bed which was extremely narrow and i couldn't even turn without hitting the wall or falling off.

Excellent location near the clifton triangle and city centre. Quiet rooms despite there being a graduation party that night. Good food, lovely rooms with an impressive range of teas, coffees and goods in the fridge. Liked having a radio with the option to play CD's and a TV with the option of watching DVD's - just like home! Enjoyed my stay here.

The hotel is located on a beautiful, small 18th-century square -- an island amidst the city's busy center. The rooms are small but comfortable, the staff is invariably helpful, and the breakfast's while they come with a charge, are varied and good.

Unique and very interesting interior decoration. Adequate heating and hot water supply. The WiFi was much more reasonably priced that it appeared on their web page and worked well in the room. Breakfast exceeded expectations. Very nice and friendly staff. On the downside the soundproofing of the rooms is not very good. Especially the doors to the hallway […] need to be replaced with hotel-grade thickness and gap isolation. But I will definitely book again for my next trip. Mehr

Just what we'd hoped it would be. Dinner the first night was superb though the table layout a bit canteen-ish. Didn't detract though. Room perhaps a little small though very comfortable. Access to the city centre just a short walk away. Secure parking nearby at a reasonable rate. Shopping, history, architecture, great restaurants.... Great for a weekend […] break. Mehr

The Berlkey Square Hotel is a brilliant little boutique Hotel. It serves excellent food and has a very nice Bar. It is also very conveniently located near a large variety of restaurants and Bars, as well as close to lovely Parkstreet and the city centre.

Very central for the University and reasonable, but quite expensive given the quality of the hotel and rooms. Breakfast vastly overpriced and much better to go to one of the nearby cafes/bars.

Great room for the money and convenient neighborhood.

Centralt bra läge och väldigt trevlig personal. Dock hade jag ändrat från ett singelrum till ett Club dubbelrum men den ändringen hade inte hotellet fått. Jag lyckades få ett dubbelrum men inte ett Club rum som jag hade betalt för. Som kompensation bjöd de på wifi. Rummet var helt OK men på morgonen fanns det knappt något vatten i duschen. 酒店超级温馨，入住那晚房间暖气很足，很热。

Très bon hotel, nous y avons séjourné en couple pour aller voir un match de rugby à Cardiff et nous sommes très satisfait.Le personnel est agréable et nous a bien aidé pour nous déplacer, très bon souvenir du petit déjeuner, la chambre était impecable ; pas très grande mais jolie!

The reception on checking in was fast, accurate and polite. The room was small, but moderne and had what you expect. Little room for clothing etc. Small bathroom, but OK. Problems with hot water and the shower did not work well. A nice gesture was a complimentary small bottle of port every day.
