Victorian Hotel - Vancouver

We enjoyed our stay at the Victorian. It is clean and located in the center, and has a nice Victorian style. The room with double bed is small, and the bed there is small too, but for a city trip where you don't plan on spending too much time in your room, it is perfectly fine.

As a above not a very safe feeling bad for asthma no tub in room and service was not nice

Nice hotel. Well situated. Only about 5 min. from Canada Place. Rooms are very cozyand the bath down the hall gave me pause but there were actually 3 so finding one open was not a problem.

good hotel for budget price to stay several days; great location and transportation

The hotel is a good spot but doesn't have much else going for! The room we had was very noisy at night and made it impossible to sleep! The bathroom was a private bathroom but separate to our room (across the hallway) which we found really annoying and uncomfortable. The staff at the desk were rude and unhelpful most of the time. We would not stay here […] again. Mehr

very nice place - I recommend it!

Room ok, but no en suite bathroom. Only 2 bathrooms for 10 rooms. Location ok, street can be loud in morning. No aircon.

The hotel was definitely not what we were expecting. The pictures from the website did not coincide with what we encountered once we were there. The staff needs to look into cleaning the stairway on the east side of the building. Seeing bird poop all over the front entrance was not a welcoming first site.

It was cheap, it had that going for it. However, the neighborhood was loud, at times very loud, and having to walk down the hall to shower and use the restroom was not worth the little bit of money I saved. It is cheap, it was clean and quite comfortable. Just weigh carefully the pro's and con's.

The Victorian was better than expected. We stayed for one night in a room with corridor washroom facilities. The room was small but very nice and super nicely decorated. The bathrooms were clean. Breakfast was included in the price and was simple but fulfilling with granola, yoghurt, fresh blueberries and bagels available. There was also a bowl of fruit. […] The staff was helpful and knowledgable about Vancouver and how to get around. The Victorian was very personal with characteristics of its history well kept after the renovation. There is no elevator and loads of stairs. The hotel is well situated in downtown Vancouver. We will come back next year for another visit. Mehr

Really nice hotel and super convenient location for downtown. I had a room with a shared bathroom which was pretty inconvenient but that was reflected in the low price. Only negative is the polished floor boards mean all noise carries hugely.

This hotel is a nice little get-away from your traditional downtown hotel. The boutique features really make it a cozy place to stay. Everything was pristine white, huge crown moldings, and wonderful Parisian decor. The flooring is quite thin and I could hear a lot of creaking early in the morning. Don't stay hear if you want to sleep in late into […] the afternoon. Thin walls and thin flooring would be my only complaint. Mehr

From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt right at home. The front desk staff was cheerful and helpful. They had everything ready for me right on time. As an art student, I appreciated the Victorian architecture of the hotel, but as a visitor, I appreciated that it was modernized with enough electrical outlets in my room and clean, urban bathrooms. […] I had a one-bed suite, and while it was small, it was comfy and clean and the shared bathroom was just a few steps down the hall. I never had to wait to use it and there were others nearby in case it was occupied. I had plenty of towels in my room and even a TV, a sink and a hairdryer in there, which were a pleasant surprise. There was also a closet with plenty of space for my clothes. The hotel itself is just two blocks or so away from the Harbour Centre, which is one of the most well-known buildings in Vancouver, and close walking distance to Gastown, which has lots of shops and restaurants. As a former resident of Vancouver, I can tell you this hotel is close to everything downtown and a five-minute walk from the Stadium Sky Train (the light rail) station. I loved the overall charm of the hotel and it was reasonably priced for a student traveller such as myself. I would gladly stay there again! Mehr

Actually,Victorian Hotel is pretty and has good location, but it's very small, the queen bed is as small as Single bed, the room is as small as bathroom. It isn't big enought for two girls.

スカイトレインのグランヴィルから徒歩5分と、ロケーション的にも、申し訳なく、スタッフの態度も親切でした。 翌朝の朝食もメニュー満足です。

Victorian Hotel er et af de få resterende hoteller fra Vancouvers "barndom" omkring 1900. Det er ikke særlig stort men har en victoriansk charme, som man ikke finder i moderne hoteller, og så ligger det lige midt i Downtown. Personalet var særdeles hjælpsomme og venlige; vi følte nærmest de levede for hotellet. Vi boede der i tre dage og mener absolut […] det var det bedste hotel af dem vi boede på, under den måneds ferie vi holdt i Quebec, Alberta og Britisk Columbia. Mehr
