Der gesamte Aufenthalt war tiptop! Nach dem Diebstahl meiner Brieftasche war das Hotelpersonal sehr hilfsbereit. Sie händigten mir ohne Probleme oder Mehrkosten eine neue Zimmerkarte aus. Zudem gaben Sie mir einen Plan auf welchem Sie den Weg zum nächsten Polizeiposten eingezeichnet haben.

Brillint location, nice helpful staff and clean modern hotel. Will be returning

The hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful. They are able to speak a reasonable level of English and helps us with all the questions we have about transport. The buffet breakfast is very delicious and offers a selection of pastries and continental breakfast, all only for 13 euro! The macaroons was delicious an cheaper than some other shops outside. […] The room is small like any other hotel in Paris but comfy and clean. The only downside is the cupboard in our room is right next to the bed so be careful to close it of you are sitting nearby as my hubby hit himself. Last but not least, the hotel is very close to the metro Ecole Militaire which connects to other trains to take you to other major tourist sites. The hotel is also near Rue Cler which has lots of nice pastry shops and it's where the local shops! Mehr

We found this hotel on line and it was perfect! The location was great with lots of good restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity. The room was small but well designed and new. The staff was very helpful and spoke English. As much as I love to try new places, I'll be tempted to stay here again on my next trip to Paris.

My stepmother and I stayed here for a week. My husband is French and booked the hotel knowing that the location was excellent. Close to the Eiffel and metro stations. Great restaurants just below your feet. We had room 401 and it was SMALL but that's Paris for you. It was clean and comfortable. At night the room got stuffy so we would open the window. […] You can hear all the traffic and people in the cafe's. This might bother some people but we actually liked it. The only gripe I have is our little fridge wasn't very cold and I know it wasn't working well since there was dew on the inside. When I asked them to check it out they said there was nothing wrong with it. Wrong. It wasn't cold and I wouldn't trust our yogurt we bought to stay fresh so they put our food in their kitchen fridge which kind of ruined the point of having the food ready in the room when you wanted it. Don't bother with breakfast. It's OK but you can get something much better up the street. Otherwise, overall, I would recommend this hotel. Mehr

Loved this hotel! The location was great. It was easy to get to major sites and just outside the door was Rue Cler with cafes, markets and more. The hotel looks like it was recently remodeled because everything about it looked new. It was sleek and modern, and the room was a good size, as was the bath (by European standards). All of the staff members […] were professional, friendly, and helpful, whether it was answering my questions about transportation or where to find a post office. I would definitely stay there again. I booked this hotel for a weekend trip to Paris for my wife's 30th birthday, having searched long and hard for the 'perfect' hotel. The staff are all very friendly and speak English well which is helpful if, like us, your French is limited. I emailed ahead and asked for a corner room with a view of the Eiffel Tower, and the request was accommodated […] without hassle. On our last day they stored our luggage which left us free to explore without the hindrance of our suitcase. Hotel Cadran is located next to Rue Cler where there are plenty of market stalls and cafes. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel but went to Cafe du Marche on the corner (where you could order a coffee, croissant and orange juice for €5). There is also a very reasonable supermarket across the street. The hotel is very modern inside, with small but comfortable rooms. The room has a mini-bar, variable lighting and a small safe. We had a wonderful view of the Rue Cler and the tower. We didn't experience any noise from the cafes but were woken up very early on Saturday morning by the bin men. This was an exception to the rule. Ecole Militaire metro is easily accessible only two streets away and from there you can easily get around around Paris with minimal (if any) changes of line. Musee L'armee, Les Invalides, the Champs de Mars and the Eiffel Tower are all within comfortable walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would return again. We felt the hotel deserved a 4* rating. Our only recommendation would be that with the rooms being relatively small, the hotel is maybe best suited to shorter stays due to a lack of storage space in the rooms (one cupboard). If you decide to stay here don't miss the Christophe Roussel Chocolat Bar in the lobby which serves amazing Chocolat, chocolates and Macarons. Mehr

3 nights spent at Hotel Du Cadran over valentines 2012. Prefect location for the Eiffel Tower and wonderful Paris metro system. Rooms are smaller than most in the UK however are perfect for couples and are very clean and well maintained.

Nicely located near metro line (Ecole Militaire station) and Eiffel tower. Quiet side street. Clean but very small rooms.

The hotel was in an ideal location and a friendly neighbourhood. Convenience store opposite was great for snacks and drinks. Only down side was the air con didn't work and it was very very hot in our room, asked the rececption and they simply told us that they could tell (from sitting in the lobby area) that it was fine and working. Excellent room for […] the price paid, would defo recommend. Chocolate bar downstairs was very overpriced and didn't even look that good. Mehr

The hotel is within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and the area has many nice cafes. The rooms are small but adequate - we spent most of our day sightseeing and spent very little time in our room. The staff is extremely helpful - arranging for cabs and resolving issues unrelated to the hotel.

We stayed in this hotel in 2009 and the room then was so much larger. We were put on the 5th floor previously room 505 with a view of the eiffel tower so I thought as we enjoyed it so much first time we'd book again as a surprise for my partners brthday. What a mistake. We were given room 101, when I say room I mean box. There was constant noise from […] outside as the room was on the first floor so leeping was an issue and then the lift door and stair doors were constantly opening through then night and early morning. We could also hear everything from other rooms. We asked to change rooms but were toldwe would have to wait til the following day. When we were allowed to change we were shown a room on the 4th and 5th fllor and both were even smaller than the one we had booked, so we decided to put up with the room we had and bite the bullet. The location of the hotel is second to non and the surrounding area is great, would definately recommend but in a different hotel. Didn't try breakfast as so expensive when there are palce to eat fresh around the corner. On leaving we were advised to book a minibus to the airport which the hotel could provide for 55 euro, which was booked for 6. we were still waiting after this time and advised the receptionist who advised that the night porter had not booked the transport but that our request was noted. We then had to pay for a taxi which cost 65 euro and left us rushing to catch our flight. Overall the hotel is definately not worth the money paid but the location is recommended. Mehr

Everything OK except bathroom door that sometimes does not fully close. Ultra modern bathroom but not very functional Hotel a bit expensive though.

I got upgraded when I arrived which was a fantastic surprise! Rooms were very clean, staff polite and spoke English. Location was excellent, with Rue Cler nearby with local cafes and boulangerie et patisserie, and close to Ecole Militaire metro station. I got a good last minute deal, and so with that in mind will definitely be back.

We loved the location but found the hotel was very noisy at night due to its very close location to Rue Claire. Our room faced the street .Ask for a room which does not face the street

The Hotel is located in the best place - Close to the Eifel Tower. Outdoor market 40 yards away. Nice people and a Chocolate shop attached - YES their is a GOD... Will be back next week.

Enjoyed my stay very much, Great Loacation for the Eiffel Tower and Surrounding Area, Walking distance, Sidewalk Cafes' were great, Awesome Chocolate bar in Lobby, Staff Very Helpful, Highly Recommended......

We really enjoyed this hotel. Pros: perfect location on the Rue Cler for great restaurants, grocery for picnics, ATM etc, nice/clean rooms, helpful/sharp staff, soo close to Eiffel Tower, free internet Cons: small rooms and queen bed not as big as USA queen bed (both typical of Paris hotels)

Small rooms (like most in Paris) but very clean and modern. Helpful staff and lovely location. However rooms are inadequately soundproofed and some have (locked) dividing doors with the next door rooms. Noise travels - if you have quiet neighbours (or none), you will have a lovely stay. if you are unlucky, you may be disturbed by noise.

Rooms are small but clean and modern. Free wifi is great. Excellent hotel location.

This hotel is close to Effiel Tower area, has good locations to pubs & cafes in the area. One of the best cafes close by is Le Bosquet. I would stay there again for convinence in Paris & a nice clean hotel with helpful staff.

We stayed 3 nights and was very happy with our decision to stay at Hotel du Cadran. We arranged for the hotel shuttle (via email with the hotel) for our family of 4 (two adults and two kids) from the CDG airport . Thought this was expensive at first but then realized how much it was worth every Euro coming off a 9 hour plane ride! The location of the […] hotel around the corner from Rue Cler was perfect. Easy to get around and really charming area. Had no problems negotiating the Metro and trains and front desk always eager to help. The rooms are tight but normal for Paris. Everyone has commented about the size of the rooms and it is true that there is truly limited place to put luggage and bathroom stuff. But, we made do and it is worth it. The location is ideal. Walk outside to restaurants, bakeries, wine stores, flower stores in a lovely little neighborhood. The best crepes (nutella and banana) are made a delightful […] 2 blocks away for breakfast or a late night treat. The crepe place is open 10-10pm. Location is perfect and we walked to the Eiffel Tower at night for sheer pleasure. The staff was attentive and accomodating at all times. Mehr

The room was nice and the staff were great. The location is in a great area, walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and some wonderful Patisseries; however, if we went back to Paris, I would prefer another area (maybe the Latin Quarter). My husband and I would recommend this hotel without hesitation. The staff was very helpful. The neighborhood was perfect....charming and close to the metro. The room only had a small shower but was very clean. The breakfast they offered was great but was not included with the room and a little pricey.

Can't say a bad word abuot the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the location great and the rooms modern and clean. The hotel is situated on a pedestrian street with good cafes, shops and a bakery on the doorstep. The Eiffel Tower is about a 5 minute walk away and the nearest Metro station is only a couple of streets away. The room was […] lovely, very modern and clean. The blackout curtains and good double glazed windows meant we had good uninterrupted nights sleep. Admittedly we didn't have the breakfast at the hotel, but then the bakery across the street sold a fantastic selection of pastries so we usually grabbed a cake or two from there on our way out. If you're looking for a hotel for your stay in Paris, I would highly recommend this hotel. My wife and I will certainly stay here again when we come back to Paris. Superb !!! Mehr

I booked this hotel despite having some reservations from reading reviews about the small room size, thinking maybe it was tiny or something. The superior room was fine, space was used well, and although pretty typical small size for Parisian (or most European city) hotels, it was more than comfortable for our 5 night stay. The room was on the 5th floor, […] very clean, comfortable and very quiet. The staff at the hotel were wonderful and helpful, and the location is quite nice... Very close to the metro and within walking distance of most attractions, if you like to walk like we do. A very short walk to Eiffel tower for a nice evening walk, or to Invalides. Great little shops nearby. If you want a big, spacious room, you may not love it, but I think it is a great hotel, especially for the price. Mehr

Steps from a Bakery, restaurants and two grocery stores means convenience and cost savings. Of course, the real highlight is being a 10min walk from the Eiffel Tower. The hotel staff were great and the rooms were modern and clean. Enjoy!

This hotel had a great location and very helpful staff. It is w/in a very short walk to the Eiffel Tower and has a number of nice restaurants in its vicinity.

Fantastic stay for the value. I find the 7th to be safe, comfortable and walkable. The hotel is perfectly located next to Rue Cler and not far from the Eiffel Tower. Rooms have been recently redone and were clean.

My family stayed in Paris for just a few days on our way to southern Spain. The hotel did a great job in arranging transportation to DeGualle to the hotel. There were four of us(two adults and two kids) and just didn't want to do the Metro thing with luggage and all. All the staf spoke english and were helpful with directions. Most everthing that you […] would want to see in a few days is within a 5-15 min walk with exception beign Notre Dame. Thar was more like 30 minutes. Within two bloks of the hotel were twelve or more cafes plus numerous bakeries and other food vendors. Overall a great little hotel in a quiet area just minutes from most all. We booded a "family suite" which is actually two rooms adjoined by a private hallway. Rooms are small but comfortable. Mehr

this hotel was extremely convienant, very very clean, and had an amazing location two blocks from the eiffel tower, 2 blocks from hotel invalides right near a metro stop and at the center of a great market for fresh fruits, groceries and great bistros right on the same street. However this was a furnished very modern with not much space to move around, […] and the bathroom although never anything less than sparkling was extremely tight to move around and the shower was pretty challenging with not a closing door and more reminded us of a shower on a boat but besides that it was a very comfortable and pleasent stay! helpful staff for sure Mehr

Nice room, clean, nice staff, excellent location, but just keep in mind it is very small. We had the family special with two connecting rooms, which worked out very well for us.
