Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 16. Feb. 2013Mich hat die zentrale Lage und der zum Buchungszeitpunkt günstige Preis angezogen. Der Service ist mittelmäßig. Die bis zu 3 Portiers langweilten sich am Eingang anstatt dem Gast beim Gepäck zu helfen. Die Concerges waren o.k.. Der Lift per Zimmerkarte gesichert und die Zimmer geräumig und leise und mit einem übergroßen TV ausgestattet. Bad könnte moderner sein. Parken sollte man besser in einem der zahlreichen Parkhäuser in der Innenstadt. Frühstück ist billiger und besser in einem der zahlreichen Coffeeshops oder Diner in der Umgebung.

Es gab ein Zimmer mit einer integrierten Küche, das Geschirr war sauber und Herd, MIcrowelle und Kühlschrank funktionierte einwandfrei! Sollten wir noch einmal nach Oregon fliegen, wird das sicher wieder unser Hotel! Wie in USA üblich, lässt die sich die Sauberkeit mit deutschem aber Standard nicht vergleichen, aber in diesem Hotel kam es schon sehr nah ran ;o) ! ! Es gibt kein Frühstück und der "Shop" ist nicht wirklich erwähnenswert. Es gibt einen Raum mit zwei PC´s die von den Gästen genutzt werden können. Freies WLAN ist auch zu haben. Die Menschen an der Rezeption waren durchweg total supernett!! In fuläufiger Umgebung ist ein tolles Diner mit dem Namen Sharies, welches rund um die Uhr geöffnet hat. das haben wir leider erst auf der Rückfahrt entdeckt, empfehlenswert sind die Blueberry-Pancakes ;o)) Also, wer keinen Luxus erwartet, wird hier nicht enttäuscht.

Die war die ganze Nacht im Dauerbetrieb. Das Abendessen im Restaurant war ganz ok. Das Frühstück war im Preis dabei und für amerikanische Verhältnisse ganz gut.

Everything in the room needs a team to go in and spend several hours scrubbing nearly everything. Snot on walls, very dirty remote control, receiver ball for sliding lock totally missing, carpet dirty, soap offered in baskets in bathroom had a couple already open, towels very thin, flat pillows, mattress was WAY too old, and might as well have been […] thin plywood covered by a sheet, phone needed a good scrubbing. "One night is enough"
It's not the Ritz, it's a cheap motel. I completely expected small rooms, hair in the tub, no amenities, thin walls, and a sketchy neighborhood. And that's exactly what I got. What I didn't expect was the rude front desk worker. My friend and I asked for extra towels and he actually argued with us about whether or not we needed them. Mid argument, he […] switched strategies and told us that housekeeping was gone for the day and he'd have to leave the desk to go get towels. (Seriously, dude? Not my problem. My problem is I need a shower and I prefer not to drip dry when I'm finished.) This guy was a real peach. Stay there if you need an inexpensive room for one night. "Sketchy neighbourhood; poor WIFI; OK breakfast"
Location is in a very sketchy neighbourhood (close to a bus station). Manager was emotionless and said the bare minimum upon check-in. The female lady manager was a tad nicer when I asked about the Wi-Fi password. The room was quite spacious and clean. Next time, I will pay more and go elsewhere instead of this area of Portland. "Nice Enough Hotel-Customer Service The Worst!"
Nice enough hotel at a good price. Room was neat and clean, but pillows were like cardboard. Very uncomfortable! Woke up with a sore neck and back. The gentelman working at the front desk has been their for years and customers are a bother to him. Rarely at the front desk, but when you ring the bell for service he acts annoyed to be having to assist […] you. Very unprofessional and reflects poorly on Days Inn, but probably the owner, so we are sure he could care less. The staff was very helpful and offered to help me plan my trips around the city! Breakfast was simple (coffee, cereal, bagel, donuts, muffin, bananas) but was always ready […] on time and did the job. Bathroom is decently big, bed is comfortable. Everything was CLEAN. Office lady was very sweet and helpful, however 3 out of our 5 rooms were not cleaned when we got there. We opened the doors to very messy rooms, then needed to be moved to rooms that were cleaned. It's next to the highway, bus stop and train. There is noise but you can get where you're going with ease. They go to great lengths to maintain and clean this older hotel. "Good value for money"
I liked my staying at that hotel. The room was spacious and so was the bathroom. Both clean. Nice staff at the reception desk. Very good communication with the Amtrak station (Max line Green). Overall a very good experience and good value for money.Authentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

"Really good value."
I was concerned after reading some of the reviews that I might have gotten myself into questionable deal just to save a few bucks. The hotel, room, staff, and continental breakfast exceeded my expectations and was similar in experience to pricey hotels I've stayed at, if not better. Since I was using the MAX as transportation, I was pleased that it […] was a couple hundred yards from room to train stop. Little place, looks like nothing, but actually it's pretty neat, it has a lot of things, TV, microwave, fridge, hair dryer, ironing board, WiFi, the location is not really that close to the airport but it has good access to all points in Portland and surrounding areas.Authentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

"Nice rooms, Awful service."
Great clean room. Great price for a room that big and CLEAN! But no other amenities at this hotel. The breakfast was kind of a joke, unless you love sugar, because that's all there was. The guy who was at the front desk every time we were there was not nice. He seemed upset we were there to check in, the one time I went to breakfast he told me our room […] was too dirty! Seriously? It wasn't even that bad considering we were traveling with a toddler! Also we left extra tips for housekeeping. If it wasn't for THAT comment I would go back, but the guy at the front desk was a jerk..... nice room though. MehrAuthentische Expedia-Gästebewertung
