Hotel Magenta Paris - Paris

Waren für drei Tage in Paris, haben alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in kurzer Zeit bequem per Metro erreicht. Hotel war sauber und das Bett erstaunlich bequem für ein Hotelbett. Kann das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Ich war sehr zufrieden, zudem war das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Die lage ist prima, alles bestens per Metro, RER und per pedes erreichbar. Grosses facelifting in dem alten Gebäude, Standartpreise viel zu hoch, fast 180€ pro DZ. Anbieter vergleichen, habe es hier für 67€ incl. frühstück bekommen, da kann man nicht meckern. Für ein 3 Sterne Hotel ausgesprochen gut. Bei dem Check in und out etwas unflexibel, sind halt […] meist gut gebucht. Unbewachter Gepäckraum ist vorhanden, Safeim Zimmer ebenfalls. schlecht ist nur, dass jedermann den Schlüssel an der Rezeption ohne Kontrolle bekommt. aber das ist woanders auch oft so. Mehr

Schöner Aufenthalt, Hotel liegt günstig, kleine Zimmer, aber sauber, Personal freundlich, Parken nur im Parkhaus 26€ / Tag

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Da wir mit dem Zug angereist sind, und die nächste U-Bahn nur 3 Min entfernt lag, war das sehr praktisch!! Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber. Frühstück haben wir nicht mitgebucht, können also nichts drüber berichten. Dieses Hotel werden wir mit Sicherheit weiterempfehlen!!!

Die Lage ist schön zentral. Das Zimmer zum Hinterhof war leise und sehr sauber. Das Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück ist ok. Überall apple-pc mit freiem (Internet-)Zugang. Wir kommern jederzeit gerne wieder!

Empfang: sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Obwohl der Check-In etwas später war, konnte ich mein Gepäck problemlos beim Hotel lassen. Beim Check-Out das Gleiche, da mein Zug 6 Stunden später abfuhr, konnte ich das Gepäck gratis dort lassen. Hotel: topmodern eingerichtet und sauber, Frühstücksbüffet ist im Hotelpreis imbegriffen, sehr umfangreich und […] schmeckte gut. Lage: Nur 5 Gehminuten von Gare de l'Est entfernt. Man sollte sich nachts nicht draussen aufhalten, da Gegend etwas gefährlich ist, ansonsten tagsüber normal. Tipp: Haltestelle des L'Open Tour ganz in der Nähe (Métrostation République). Mehr

Wir haben unsere Velotour in Paris gestartet und waren mit unseren bepackten Velos sehr willkommen im Hotel Magenta. Die Nähe zu den den beiden Gare hat uns die Anreise sehr erleichtert. Schräg Vis a vis gibt es ein sehr empfehlenswertes Indisches Restaurant.

wie gewohnt in Paris, kleine Zimmer. nicht ganz saubere Teppichböden. Dafür gute Betten, saubere Toilettenanlagen. TV und Minibar vorhanden. Freundliche Reception. Der Frühstücksraum liegt im UG, im feuchten Kellergewölbe. Besser ist, Cafe und Croissant gleich im Bistro um die Ecke zu nehmen.

Good bargain from a travel site. Renovated a couple of years ago, very good condition. Nice staff at reception, spoke good english. Breakfast was nice. A fairly good location, 15 walk from Gar du Nord. 5 min walk to Republique metro. There is one station even closer but it serves only one line. Rooms small but nice and clean. Recommendable.

Great hotel, very nice convenient and clean with good staff and service.

Hotel is located on busy street approx 15 mins on foot (downhill) from Gare du Nord. Our room was at the rear of the hotel which was quiet. The lift is slow and always seem to be busy & at one point broke down completely but it was repaired quickly. Reception staff very friendly & will speak English without any prompting (remember this is Paris) so […] this is a real bonus. Breakfast tickets can be purchased from the front desk at a reasonable price. Paris is an expensive city so make the most of the breakfast - it is not spectacular but will keep you going until lunch where it will cost you €8-10 for 2 cafe au laits let alone lunch. All in all a fair hotel with nice staff well located (if you make good use of the metro). Mehr

Stayed at the beginning of March 2012 with family. Very fine hotel for budget staying. Rooms are tiny, though it is typical for most Parisean hotels. Service is friendly, reception helpful. Thanks.

A clean, comfortable, friendly and modern hotel in a reasonably central location in Paris. Also the hotel is walking distance from Gare du Nord (Eurostar) and Gare de l'Est. Easy access by walking/metro to the main sights. We felt it was very good value for money at the price we paid. It is a quite nice hotel with a convenient location, helpful staff within the reasonable price! Also, the wifi had gd connection throughout the hotel! Thts very important to me:) However, the staff called three times to ask us to check out ASAP in the sharp 12! Actually my bf n I packed the stuff hurriedly but the call kept ringing!!! very satisfied. seen the pictures bfore our trip, no surprise at the arrival. great neighbourhood, the metro station is close. Supermarket close by. there is no simple 'bad' thing abt this hotel. they speak english.

Clean, friendly, very well placed for getting around.... good local restaurants at Republique. Would certainly use this hotel again.

We only stayed for 1 night but it was very nice, clean and comfortable. The room is small, but that is the same with most Paris hotels. The wifi was good (unlike most hotels) and the bathroom was very clean. Overall we would stay here again and highly recommend it.

this hotel was great. i just stayed 2 night during i stayed in paris for 8 nights. I wish I could stay here more. the room was simply nice. the double bed was really comfortable. the price was pretty great for the hotel too. and the greatest thing of the hotel was wifi. wifi worked really great. the location was okay. it's better to walk to the other […] metro which takes like 10 mintue walk than the closest one. there are some supermarkets near the hotel. Chose this hotel because of convenience and ratings, but 1) the neighborhood isn't that great ( prob it's all like that when close to big stations) but 2) it isn't that close to train station neither ( need 10 min walk or 2 metro stations to gare du nord). As i have big luggages it's not convenient to bring them up and down in metro stairs.

We chose this hotel based on price and nearness to the rail station. However it was still pricey for such a small room. The breakfast was good. The neighborhood was iffy. The "free" wi-fi only worked sometimes. It may have been worth it to spend a little more and be closer to the atrractions.

This hotel is well located - convenient for the Eurostar but not too close to gare du Nord and with easy access to some of the sites, We walked to Notre Dame and took the metro back - the stop was almost outside the hotel. Just five minutes walk is the canal with some nice bars and restaurants which seemed to attract a lot of locals rather than tourists. The […] room was small but well equipped. This hotel is about 15 minutes' walk from Gare du Nord, which is extremely convenient if you're a frequent Eurostar business traveler and often arrive late in the evening before a meeting. The hotel offers free wifi and the breakfast buffet was fine. The hotel was very cold in atmosphere, it was more like a motel than hotel, it had no heart.....the bed linen was woeful, the room was tired and the hospitality was non existent...

We were upgraded to a bigger room when we complained about not liking the room in our previous visit. This gave us real customer satisfaction.

The hotel is very well placed. Staff friendly and rooms where very clean. The only drawback is that if you have themisfortune of needing a car, parking is a nightmare unless you're up VERY early to move it out of "delivery" zone. Occupied a singe room with no bath, but a moidern clean shower. Perfect for me.

I chose Magenta based on previous recommendations, and wasn't disappointed. Clean, tidy hotel with helpfull & friedly staff. Not a single complaint.

I read the reviews and booked the hotel knowing it was not going to be a 5 star hotel. It actually was very nice accomodations and the personnel were helpful. We aere able to store our luggage both prior to checking in as well as when we checked out and were not leavbing until late that evening. The only bad thing I can say is that google maps took us to the wrong part of the street. Everything else was fantastic. Excellent location. Helpful staff. Beautiful room. Great value.

Great location, subway station nearby, grocery store nearby, very clean, extremely professional and helpful staff. I am a single female visiting Paris alone, I felt very safe, and comfortable at the hotel. Will definitely stay here the next time I'm in Paris!!

This hotel was a last minute pick because of short notice of a trip to Paris. The price was high because I had no bargaining power to pay in advance or book early. However, this is my new 'favourite'. The bathroom had more space than others I had experienced, breakfast was very good, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs and sausages, a nice selection of cold […] meats, and of course great French bread and pastries. The hotel was generally quiet except for chatty guests who did not realize you don't talk outside your room at normal volume at midnight. They only did this for five minutes but it was annoying. The only downside - the bed was not as comfortable as I have experienced. And the elevator broke down but this happened AFTER we got our luggage to our rooms, otherwise my review would have been quite different. It was fixed the next day but still I felt for those guests who had to check out and carry their luggage down the steep windy staircase. Mehr

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The bathroom was very nice and new looking. The staff was helpful and arranged a taxi for us. We ate dinner at a little nearby bistro. The breakfast was very good. We would definitely stay there again.

Hotel and rooms themselves were clean but the bathrooms could use some updating. Very close to a few metro stations and a main train station which was very convenient. However, the surrounding neighborhood is not the safest place at night.

Travel Dates : 2nd Sep 2011 to 5th Sep 2011 Travelling people : Me, Mom and Dad. We traveled from Marseille to Paris by train and reached at 11.30 in night. I had a bad experience of not getting the room booked for me, in previous journey to Paris. This time around it completely changed. The front desk people were very friendly and co-operative. Check-In […] Check-Out without any hassle. If asked for any locations, they even provided us with printouts of the map. The booking was not with Breakfast included hence cannot comment about food. We had triple room booked. I would say it was that we got wrong room. It was at the top and without any balcony or window on walls. The windows were on the slanting roof. But the view was really amazing. Eiffel, Sacre Core were visible from bathroom. Apart from that it was spacious enough, clean, neat and tidy. Location of hotel is perfect. Easily reachable by Metro/Bus. A couple of Bus Stops from Gare Du Nord and Gare De L'Est. All in all very nice Hotel. I would recommend it for sure. Mehr

Wasnt a bad hotel, but wasn't a great hotel either...would only recommend staying there if you needed a place walking distance to the train station (Gare de l'Est). The bed took up the entire room, so barely any space to walk around. No toiletries in the bathroom and only 1 large towel and 1 hand towel - the bare minimums. Convenient to Gare du Nord and Gare L'est - at least 10min walk. I had room above the busy street and it was too noisy, even with the windows closed. B'fast great! - Large variety of food.

We had a great stay in this central located hotel. The staff were very helpful and we would stay again.

Stayed at this hotel 3 times now, great value and good modern theme. Staff very friendly and helpful. More tourist hotel than business, but works for me as a business hotel. Rooms previously were reasonably spacious, although last time was slightly smaller, but OK and acceptable (certainly stayed in a lot smaller in Paris). The location is not the […] most picturesque, but good for metro links. Although, if in Paris for the first time check with hotel which neighbouring areas are best to be explored by foot. Mehr

we stayed here for 2 nights while travelling europe what a great find on hotels.com we loved it so freindly so helpful and so inexpensive wow
