Good located, very clean, large rooms, nice staff

Meine Schwester und ich waren mit den 18-jährigen Töchtern in diesem Hotel. Ich packte meine Hausschuhe nicht aus, ich habe selten so ein sauberes Zimmer vorgefunden. Da wir alle schnell und gut zu Fuss sind, hat es uns nicht sehr gestört, dass wir fast 1 km von der nächsten U-Bahnstation weg waren. An der Reception erhielt man praktisch keine Auskünfte […] oder Hilfe, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Wer sich auf dem Computer auskennt, kann sich selber helfen, doch gerade freundlich reagierten die Angestellten bei solchen Fragen nicht. Mehr

Das Hotel entspricht dem Besten was Barcelona in Sachen Preis/Leistung zu bieten hat!!!

It is difficult to find anything bad to say about the hotel itself. Clean, spacious and comfortable, friendly staff, we were lucky to have a top floor room complete with a little terrace. Didnt try the food so can't comment - the only thing that would have improved our stay would be if the hotel was picked up and moved a block or two closer to a Metro. […] Located in a quieter, more residential area, with a little supermarket just outside and a few cafes just 5 mins walk away towards the Hospital Clinic metro. But you can walk to the main tourist area, down to Gran Via and onto Place Catalanya into The Ramblas can be reached in around 20 - 25 mins on foot. A good 10 minute walk to nearest Metros at Rocafort or Hospital Clinic which we found were the best ones to use to change lines to get to the main sites. Once on the metro getting around is really easy, be sure to get your T10 ticket early on. But after walking SOOOooo much all day, every day, the last journey on foot from station to hotel was a bit of a strain. Overall - had a great time in the city and would recommend this hotel over other hotels nearer the busy areas. Mehr

Friendly staff, clean room & bathroom.

This hotel is perfect for a shorter stay, a short walk to metro and Las Ramblas!

I had an excellent stay at the AB Vildomat Hotel over 4 nights in early October. The hotel staff was very friendly and very helpful about places to go and places to see. The neighbourhood is nice and quiet. the walk to the Sants Estacio or Terragona metro stations did not take long. Also not a long walk to the bus stop for the night bus to the airport […] if one is leaving at the crack of dawn. I would definitely stay there again! Mehr

The hotel staff was very friendly and complimentary internet access (computer station in the lobby) was very convenient. It was about a 5 minute walk to the nearest metro stop, and while the hotel isn't very close to any of the major tourist sites it is in a good neighborhood.

The hotel was clean quiet and comfortable. The staff were good and quite helpful for english speaking guests. The buffet breakfast was was reasonably priced and provided adequate choice. The local area has many cafe/bars to choose from with in a 3 block radius that have reasonable meals at a reasonable price. Location is only 30 min pleasant walk from […] centre of city. Mehr

friendly and helpful english speaking staff. rooms were clean and spacious. free wifi. fridge and desk in the room. hardwood floors. neighborhood didn't have very much in the area so you have to walk a bit to find restaurants and shops. metro is 4 blocks away so you can go to all the city attractions conveniently.

Clean, comfortable beds. Close enough to subway station; but not a stroll to main sights. The hotel is fine and staff was fine, but I wouldn't stay there again based on it's location.

Nice staff, calm location and not too far from Metro station. I liked the service at the front desk and the restaurant. Breakfast was good, but could be added as complementary. Overall I liked the hotel and the stay.

We thought this hotel was good for the price. Easy walk to/fom train station. Rooms are quite small, we do not spend much time in the hotel so it worked well for us. Very clean, very comfortable bed and pillows. nice bathroom area. Wi-fi did not work well, no one offered any apologies.

The hotel was spacious and clean, The bed comfortable and the minibar well stocked. We didn't even hear from other neighboring rooms. It was around ten blocks to two major squares (Plaza Espanya and Plaza de Calvo Sotelo). The hotel is very nice and the room was big, clean and comfortable.

We liked this hotel because it wasn't far from the major sights and it was close to the metro. We also appreciated the free Wifi that the hotel offered. Our room was huge and overlooked the street, but wasn't noisy at night.

The hotel is very nice for it's price - good bed, great shower, very clean and very kind staff. The neighborhood is peaceful and the nearest metro is a walk of 4-5 blocks (about 7 min. walk). If you are going to be most of the day walking the city streets, this is a great hotel at very reasonable price.

Everything was as expected with this hotel. Its a good quality, solid 3* hotel offering a good experience for a reasonable price. Although the hotel is not completely central to all the sights, if you don't mind a stroll then within 10-15 minutes you can be. Barcelona is spreadout anyway so you have to travel by public transport if you want to see […] most of the general tourist sights. The plus to this hotel is its in a good neighbourhood, with local shops and restaurants, is fairly priced and the staff are very helpful. Mehr

Very nice hotel, quite and clean....

Good, basic, functional hotel in a safe neighborhood. Good value. Our room had a rotted-out floor in one spot and the furniture was showing its age. But the staff was friendly and all was as expected.

Location of this hotel is very good, it is only 15-20 min walking to La Rambla. It was very clean, quiet and comfortable and that is exactly what we wanted for our visit in Barcelona.

This hotel is a very nice hotel and the room was very large and and nicely furnished. The only drawback is the location. It is in a residential neighborhood in the new part of the city, a distance from the tourist areas where a lot of the restaurants are located. Barcelona has a great metro system and the hotel is only a 5 or 10 minute walk from the […] nearest metro station, but in the evening it would have been nice to be able to walk to a restaurant rather than to have to take metro. If I go back to Barcelona, I would find a hotel closer to the Ramblas. Mehr

Even I stayed for 1 night only, hotel was on a great location, close to downtown area and to train station from where is very easy to take train to the airport.

We stayed at this hotel for my 30th birthday. The hotel is clean, rooms are comfortable, there is a mini bar and safe (you have to pay for it separately). Hotel is in the centre it took us about15-20 min to get to most of the important palces - Sants station, Fontana Majica ect . There are several shops aroud the hotel, the closest one is just around […] the corner just turn right when leaving the hotel. Staff speak English so the is no problems with communication. They also very helpful as we had our passport and money stolen 4 hours before flight home they help to organize transport to the airport. Mehr

We chose the hotel because it was within walking distance to the Sants Train Station. It's about a 15 minute walk, but it's a straight shot from the station to the hotel. The hotel was clean and comfortable and quiet, which was very much appreciated. It's in the Eixample district, so it's a little bit of a walk from Las Ramblas, but it's manageable... […] we also used the Metro quite a bit, which is also easily accessible from the hotel. The decor was modern and the hotel was well-maintained. It's nothing remarkable - a standard business-type hotel, but I would recommend it without any hesitation. Mehr

Ett helt ok hotell, rent och snyggt samt hjälpsam personal. Hotellfrukosten (som inte ingick i priset) drar ner betyget samt läget om man inte gillar att gå. Det är inte så långa avstånd...

Este hotel me parecio comodo,agradable y bien ubicado para mis intereses ya que tenia que devolver el auto en estacion sants y queda cerca .Plaza cataluña esta a 10 minutos caminando,la habitacion es amplia,tiene cochera en el mismo edificio y se duerme tranquilamente porque la zona no es bulliciosa.Si volviera a barcelona seguro repetiria.

Probleme de porte. Pas de changement de chambre possible le jour J, mais problème résolu le lendemain, donc ça va. Sinon assez propre mise à par eclaboussure de douche même quand on fait très attention! ça c'est moins bien, surtout quand il faut tout néttoyer après chaque douche (grosse mare)!

Hotellet var riktigt bra. Rent och snyggt men det enda negativa med hotellet var läget. Tog cirka 10-15min att gå till La Rambla. Men det positiva med att det låg så långt bort är att det var lugnt utanför hotellet så man fick sova lugnt hela natten.

Et dejligt roligt kvarter, med 15-20 min til nærmeste metro. Vi var godt tilfredse med servicen, beliggenhed, faciliteter, rengøring mm.

Pænt hotel, god morgenmad, god service, fin rengøring, rimelige priser, 5-10 minutters gang fra metroen,

Hotellet får topkarakter herfra. - Hotellet med sit personale viste sig at indfri alle positive forventninger: Hotelpersonalet var kompetent og meget venligt og servicemindet. De ansatte gav os en rigtig god behandling, og dette, sammen med hotellets dejlige fysiske rammer, gav os alt i alt en meget god oplevelse. Hotellet ligger godt placeret, tyve […] minutters gang fra Placa Espanya samt 5 minutters gang fra flere metrostationer. Kvarteret er roligt og behageligt, men samtidig med mulighed for hurtigt at finde caféer og barer i nærheden. Jeg vil helt sikkert anbefale AB Viladomat Hotel til andre ligesom at jeg selv gerne vil komme som gæst på hotellet igen. Gode anbefalinger herfra. Mehr

Hotellet blev bestilt over nettet. Fair pris, men man skal være opmærksom på, alle værelser koster det samme, men der er stor forskel på beliggenhed. Du kan få 10. etage med udsigt eller 2. etage med en mur og gitter lige ud for dit vindue og temmeligt mørkt. Men fin service, rigtig god rengøring på værelset og hurtig betjening og venlig i restauranten, […] som har et fint frokosttilbud. Mehr

AB Viladomat was surprisingly good when it comes to reception service and the overall atmosphere. Our room contained everything we wanted: tv, wifi, safety box, minibar etc. Staff was very helpful when we needed instructions with metro or busses. A equipe toda é muito simpática e prestativa e os quartos são muito bem arrumados e limpos. RECOMENDO! (a distancia do centro no final das contas é vantajosa, acreditem)

Hotellet var fint, og rommet bra. Rent og pent. Men en av hovedgrunnene til valg av dette hotellet var parkering i hotellets kjeller. Da vi ankom fikk vi imidlertid bare vite at dette var fullt, og at vi fikk finne oss en parkeringsplass i gatene. Noe som føltes ganske utrygt med en bil full av feriebagasje. I tillegg var det nesten umulig å finne en […] parkeringsplass i nærheten av hotellet. Resepsjonisten var også tydelig mere opptatt av å snakke i telefonen enn å ta seg av gjestene. Dette gjentok seg tre ganger på kveldstid, og ved på utsjekking neste morgen. Mehr

Malgré une propreté irréprochable, cet hôtel est malheureusement mal situé. Le 1er métro est loin, et il n'y a pas de restaurant sympa dans les environs. Il faut également préciser que pour avoir accès au coffre fort dans la chambre il faut payer une clé. Ce n'est pas précisé.
