Anna Hotel - Prag

Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit an der Rezeption. Man sprach englisch, aber auch eine Bedienstete sprach deutsch. Frühstück war o.k.

The Hotel Anna reminded of a cheap students hostel - if not for the first class prices! We paid less for a suite in a hotel with wellness centre in Berlin!

Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, komfortabel, das Frühstück hat auch sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Metrostationen sind nicht weit vom Hotel entfernt. Also wer günstig übernachten möchte und Wert auf ein sauberes und gepflegtes Zimmer legt, ist hier genau richtig!

Really enjoyed staying here - location was good as area was safe and either a long walk or quick metro ride to most sights - staff was great and free breakfast and internet were nice touches

This would have been my fifth visit to Prague and Hotel Anna over the past ten years, and as always Hotel Anna lived up to all my expectations. It is very conveniently located to all amenities. Lovely hotel, a bit of a walk to everything though. If you want something close to the centre of town this is not really the hotel for you. It's about a 15 min walk to the centre, but a 30 mins walk to attractions like the Charles Bridge. The reception staff were very helpful and polite. A charming European style hotel close to the bus station and the opera house. The breakfast atrium was lovely, the food good, and the desk helpful. We like to walk and it was easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The music restaurant next door was fun and filled with rousing singing. We had a nice stay at this hotel. Clean, very comfortable. The only downside is that you have to pay an extra fee of 9 euro/day to use the air conditioning

The hotel was old fashioned and comforting. The receptionist had clear english and the breakfast was good.

Anna Hotel is cute clean convenient hotel. Just a few blocks away from metro. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good as well. It's located quiet area with a reasonable price.

Arrived on Friday night and upon waking on Saturday morning, was told that the Internet was out and would not be restored until Monday when their ISP was back at work. I've never known a service that is 24x7x365 (hotel) to depend on a service that was 9-5, 5 days a week like this. It was incredibly frustrating as it impacted further travel, such as […] being able to checkin online for flights, book trains, etc. So a caution to anyone who will be staying on the weekend and expecting Internet service: it is not guaranteed at this hotel over the weekend. The Anna hotel is conveniently located near the trams, buses and restaurants in the Vinohrady neighborhood.. Finding one's way around does not take a long time and much is within walking distance. Each of the staff was cordial and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. I consider the hotel a hidden treasure for those wanting to stay in […] "the real" Prague as opposed to a big name hotel. There were some local bars nearby which contributed to shouting matches on the street after hours but it was more an annoyance. We booked the hotel on a few hours before we arrived as we were staying in Germany and decided last minute! The hotel was fairly easy to find and on arrival we were directed to secure parking which was a real bonus for us because we had heard about the high car theft in Prague!! (parking was about €10 a day, but well worth it!) the hotel itself was […] much better than I expected for the price we paid!! It was really clean and tidy and the staff were really helpful with any problems we had!! The hotel is a little off the beaten track but for us that was perfect! The area was really nice and there was a lovely Mediterranean restaurant just round the corner. As far as getting into the centre there was a tram track on the road behind and the number 22 takes you into the centre and Charles bridge and Prague castle Ect! It's a good bargain for the price - the room is clean, the reception is courteous and helpful. There is a bar right across the street but not so loud if you keep the window close. There are quite a few clubs near by so it has easy access to night life.

The deal on the hotel was great and made up for the fact that the room was tiny, the furnishings were a bit rickety, and the bathroom had a funny smell the entire time we were there. On the plus side, our 4th floor room had big windows that looked out on the beautiful Vinohrady streetscape and a gorgeous sweeping marble staircase that we often preferred […] over the claustrophobic little European lift. Typical of Czech people, the desk staff had to be drawn out, but when pressed, were a friendly and helpful bunch. The buffet breakfast was tolerable. The neighborhood is very cute - leafy, quiet streets with gorgeous residential buildings - and close enough to the center of action to be convenient, as long as you don't mind walking. I would choose this location over being right in the thick of the tourist action any day. Tip: there is a great Italian restaurant a block up the street with a huge menu, great staff, and lovely outdoor seating. I think it's called Restaurant Simon. Mehr

Hotel Anna is excellent. Conveniently located in Vinohrady (Prague's answer to London's Islington, although within walking distance of the city centre (12 mins). It is also 3 mins walk from several Tram stops which all go into the city and it is also only 4 mins walk from Namesti Miru underground station which is on metro Line A (the green line) […] which goes straight to Dejvicka where you can pick up the bus to the airport. The hotel is quiet, the rooms nicely furnished, some are older than others and are plain, but comfortable. Other rooms are better decorated and are really lovely. Room 501 is highly recommended as it affords a fantastic view of Petrin (the mini Eiffel Tower on the West side of Prague) and the best thing - the Prague Castle. The breakfast room is in a nice conservatory with small outside area. Breakfast is simple - breads, cheeses, meats, eggs, cerials and yoghurts, and doesn't vary much, but it is nice all the same. Nice hotel a little off the beaten track but with plenty of bars & eateries nearby that are much cheaper than the city centre,only small gripe breakfast room was on the small side & it seemed a bit of a battle to get to the trough, but would stay there again

its well located and the prices are really reasonable, do not expect a lot

The rooms were clean and not too small, but the bed and shower were not very comfortable. The breakfast was nice and well kept. The location is residential and not close to the attractions, but the trams and metros are very convenient. The service wasn't great - actually, the rules about turning in your key anytime you leave is annoying because sometimes […] no one would be at the desk when you came back. You also have to be rung in after 8pm. The taxi service to the airport was nice, albeit a bit pricey. Mehr

Nice hotel for that slightly out of city center feel. Would be good for travelers who like to walk and experiance the 'local' Prague when going in to the city.

This is a lovely quiet hotel well located for public transport into Prague. Good Breakfast that will keep you going until lunch time.

Hyvä sijainti keskustassa. Metroasema vieressä ja kävelymatkan päässä keskustan nähtävyydet. Hyviä ja edullisia ruokapaikkoja vieressä ja erittäin ystävällinen palvelu

Vi var nöjda med hotellet. Det var lätt att med metro och spårvagn nå Prags olika sevärdheter. Hotellet liiger i ett fint och lugnt område. Frukosten var mycket bra.

Dejligt hotel i centrale omgivelser, god morgenkomplet og høflig betjeningingen mangler, kan anbefales til prisen

Ottimo tre stelle, situato in strada secondaria molto tranquilla, vicino al metrò, servizio eccellente; ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Sympaattinen pikku hotelli, jossa kaikki toimii! Metroasema ja ratikkapysäkit vieressä, joten nähtävyyksiä pääsee katsomaan helposti. Alueella paljon kohtuuhintaisia ja kivoja ravintoloita ja baareja ilman turistimassoja.

I was satisfied with Hotel Anna. Location was excellent: Navigating to downtown (tourist centre) was easy and cheap with Metro or tram and there were interesting places and good restaurants in Vinohrady as well. The room was clean and cosy and the service excellent. Breakfast was good but not great. Some day the Wifi connection was down several hours. […] It was a bit irritating. Mehr

Rigtig fint hotel en god gå-tur fra Prags centrum. Værelset var pænt holdt og badeværelset var pænt og rent. Alt var som det skulle være uden at man betaler for unødig luksus. Kan bestemt anbefales.

très bel hôtel, propreté impeccable et très bonne literie. Accueil très sympathique. Il est à 10 minutes à pied de la vieille ville donc très bien situé.Je le recommande sans aucune hésitation

Vi bodde på Anna Hotel under juli 2009 och blev helt klart positivt överraskade. Trevlig personal som var väldigt hjälpsamma och tillmötesgående! Receptionen är öppen dygnet runt, det tar ca 10-15 minuter att promenera till Old Town men t-bana, bussar och spårvagn finns nära ifall man inte vill gå. Själva rummen var helt ok (dock lite mörkare än på […] bilderna) och vi hade en jättestor och fräsch kaklad dusch. Kan dock vara bra att veta att det inte finns AC (i vart fall inte i det rummet vi bodde). Vi bodde dock högt upp och kunde sova med fönstret öppet vilket var mer än tillräckligt. Jag kan verkligen rekommendera detta hotell som ett utmärkt budgetalternativ, skulle gärna bo där igen! Mehr

Vi var fint tilfredse med hotellet. Selvfølgelig var det ikke overdådig luksus, men vi fik helt sikkert værdi for vores penge. Ligger meget tæt på metrostationen Namesti Miru, hvorfra man hurtigt kan komme til centrum. Gåturen tager heller ikke mere end et kvarters tid, og er let at finde. Personalet var helt fint, selvom vi nu ikke havde meget kontakt […] med dem. Kan anbefales. Mehr
