Dieses Hotel bietet ein sehr angenehmes Ambiente, guten Service, freie Wlan-Nutzung und viele weitere Dienste, die in anderen Hotels der Gegend kostenpflichtig sind. Die Klimaanlage war leise und wirksam, die Zimmer angenehm und gut ausgestattet. Das Essen war reichhaltig, wenngleich wir vom Geschmack schon bessere Küchen kennengelernt haben.

Melia Tropical - All Inclusive befindet sich am Strand in Punta Cana (Bavaro Beach) in der Nähe der folgenden Sehenswürdigkeiten: Palma Real Shopping Village, Isla de los Delfines und Cocotal Golf and Country Club. "Melia Caribe Tropical - paradise on earth"
The Melia in DR is amazing! Every staff member was always ready and willing to go out of their way to help in any way possible. Jose our concierge even set t up so that on my birthday all of the waiters brought out a big cake and sang an elaborate fun happy birthday. The hotel is beyond gorgeous.. It's huge but there is a train to take you around the […] premises. Everything was clean, the food was great and the people friendly. After hearing many horror stories about other hotels in DR (and having experienced one myself), I was very happy to find a place that I love. Mehr

"Horrible Experience"
Upon arrival, my entire family including myself waited over an hr and a half in the lobby because of an error in our reservation. Once we received our rooms one of my sisters found a rat in her room, she had to move, then my other sister found 2 large roaches in her room, she had to move as well.

Food was appauling, and i mean terrible. I have stayed in many all inclusives in that market and this was trulythe wrost for food... Everything was also very far away . The rooms from the main restaurants etc and the internal train service was pathetic. Go to Melia Paradisus and forget this one...

Nothing less than spectaculous. The only problem that i had was leaving. The employees treated us like royalties. I look forward to return in the near future. If i may make a suggestion. I wish that this hotel had residence in cartagena colombia. Melia is the idea getaway but more than just a getaway.
"Awful service unless you pay extra & then just ok"
This all-inclusive is not like any we've visited in Cancun or the Riviera Maya. The service is very well below standard and we would never think about going back. It has to be said that the grounds are stunningly beautiful and very well kept, but that's about all the nice things we have to say about this place where we had trouble since day one. Their […] Royal Service bait and switch plan feels like a rip off. You see a price which looks great to be true, and it is! The price you are quoted includes sub-standard service, no internet access and some harassment from the staff. If you shell out the Royal Service charges, then you get standard service, which is, I'm guessing, very far from anything that a King or Queen would be accustomed to. All in all, no matter what service you get, you will be entitled to anything from average to completely inedible food (stay away from Turey!), adequate accommodation, although some furniture in the "newly renovated room" was falling apart, generic liquor that would give you an awful headache if you were brave enough to try it (stick to beer if you didn't get the Royal Service), slow and inconvenient "train" that you have to take to get anywhere unless it's after 11 and then you're down on your luck with the bellboy mobiles, dress codes that don't make sense, pushy waiters trying to sell you wines for your dinner even if you don't like wine, pushy time share vendors as well as super-pushy activity/excursion vendors who made your day at the beach anything but relaxing. Finally you top it all off with a broken credit card terminal at check out time which leaves you the only option of paying your incidentals in Euros or Dollars at a rip-off hotel exchange rate. If you have to go to Punta Cana, I would rather try the Barcelo which is very near to this hotel and I think a little better in the service department. Otherwise, I would much rather recommend visiting Playa del Carmen or any other destination in the Mexican Riviera. Mehr

"Melia Tropical Punta Cana - Really Nice Hotel"
The hotel facilities are very nice and the beach is clean, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel was beautiful. The rooms were pretty good. The service manager was excellent and thanks to her the stay was much better than expected but even with her help the remaining staff still made some big mistakes with our reservations. Forget about asking for anything but the basics (i.e. extra towels, reservations, trash bags) because the staff […] is very slow IF they respond at all. But even though they are not very helpful they were very nice. The timeshare people are extremely pushy I suggest you take the phone off the hook. The food was not good at all except at the Dominican restaurant but good luck getting a reservation. Mehr

"The Melia Caribe Tropical in Punta Cana"
The Melia was fabulous! We arrived a bit before checkin but our room was ready. It felt like we were in Paradise..The grounds were immaculate! The staff were also very friendly. Only complaints were dessert choices and availability of beach/pool towels. Other than that, it was a fantastic stay. I'd definitely go back.

"NICE but not LUXURY"
It was pretty nice no complaints. The staff was very friendly. The guy that to sell us a timeshare was pretty rude but other than theat everyone was really nice. the rooms were a nice size. The massage and facial at the spa was not the best i ever had, but it was ok. the food was pretty good but the birds were flying all around the food...sometimes […] actually standing on the buffet counters eating the food on the buffet. the mall is a comfortable walking distance from the hotel. we took a tour into the city which was a nice change from the hotel. Hotel excelente! Comida muito boa, principalmente no jantar. Ficamos no quarto mais simples do hotel, que realmente vale a pena, e fomos muito bem atendidos, mas na rede melia, tem um sistema de venda de f'erias exclusividade para a rede, que atrapalha muito a sua estadia, pois eles (os funcion'arios) dizem que 'e 90 min. a apresenta'c~ao e perdemos uma manha maravilhosa de sol. Estrutura e aparencia do hotel muito boa., porém os apartamentos deixam a desejar ... muito antigo...banheira com vazamento.... quanto a alimentaçao, muita quantidade, porém pouca qualidade....

Solicitamos cuarto para cuatro personas y nos dispusieron dos camas dobles que en realidad eran semidobles (solo para una persona) por lo que dos personas tuvieron que dormir en sofacamas....

Bello hotel con un ambiente muy natural y edificacion con arquitectura elegante. Todo el personal es muy amable y las posibilidades de entretenimiento son muchisimas. Ademas, esta ubicado bastante cerca del San juan Shopping center y otro mall que le queda justo al frente, ambos con muchas tiendas y teatro de cine. Muy recomendable y no muy caro.

Nosotros estuvimos en el Hotel la semana de Septiembre 10, la verdad quedamos encantados. Fuimos mi esposo, mi bebe y yo. Nos gusto mucho la atencion de todo el personal, las intalaciones, la comida, todo estaba muy bien. Lo que tiene el hotel es que es demasiado grande, pero hay servicio de transporte interno (tren o carritos) que te llevan a donde […] quieras. Algo que no nos encanto, es que para la cena necesitas hacer una reserva, pero ahi te dan muchas frestricciones de horarios y tienes que hablar constantemente para que puedas tener un horario adecuado a tu gusto. "Bom custo/benefício"
Não espere nada espetacular. É um bom custo/benefício. Os dominicanos em geral são muito simpáticos e gentis, há exceções. O hotel é bom, all inclusive. Mas os restaurantes principais repetem o cardápio diariamente e os especiais não são muito acima da média, para quem ficou 7 dias, isso pesou um pouco (menos imagino que não será problema). O hotel […] é espalhado em pequenas casinhas com uns 15 aptos cada, o que dificulta um pouco a locomoção (por isso há trenzinhos disponíveis que passam a cada 10/15 minutos por cada ponto). Tive problemas no check-out, demoraram 1h30 para buscar minhas malas mesmo após alguns pedidos, o que me fez chegar desesperadamente no horário do voo. No mais, o hotel oferece dois bares com ambientes muito legais (all inclusive), esportes aquáticos no mar, como canoagem, pedalinho, também sem pagar nada. Se eu voltar lá, procurarei outro hotel para experimentar. Mas quem ficar nesse, provavelmente terá boa estadia. Sem mimos. Mehr
"Bastante bien, pero no perfecto"
Muy buenas instalaciones del hotel pero algo pesado ir de un sitio a otro por las distancias y pocos transportes disponibles (están la mayoria reservados para el Melia Vacation Club). La master suite esta muy bien, amplia y bien decorada. En el restaurante del servicio real (Gabi) muy amables y atentos. La comida en este resturante está bastante bien. […] En el resto solo normal. El servicio real está bien pero son muy lentos. Ejemplo: 1 hora para servir un sandwich en la habitación 30 minutos esperando en la puerta a que un mozo trajese una nueva tarjeta de acceso a la habitación (se había estropeado la banda de la otra) También a destacar algunos fallos de organización, como que al llegar nadie informa de nada y despues de 40 minutos de reloj esperando en la cola para la recepción (con gente colándose por todos los sitios), se dan cuenta de que eres Servicio Real y te mandan a otro sitio donde ya te atienden correctamente. Muy amable el servicio pero muy lento. Servicio Real no está a la altura de lo que se espera, no da el servicio acorde al precio. Comida de buena calidad. No dejar cosas de valor en la habitación. Parece que dan servicio esperando la propina.

A reserva foi rápida, fácil, no check-in que também foi rápido, estava tudo ok, a partir do momento que entramos no hotel tudo passou a ser sonho, o local, os restaurantes, atividades, conforto, atendimento , o clima, check-out fácil, não há nada parecido no Brasil pelo mesmo custo. O lugar é perfeito para crianças e famílias e todos compreendem nosso […] portunhol. O que é descrito no site não corresponde à realidade, pois lá é melhor ainda do que o descrito, as fotos não conseguem retratar a suntuosidade dos espaços. Hotel muito organizado, funcionários gentis e dispostos. Fomos bem atendidos, tivemos upgrade de quarto - romantic suite, que também era próximo a piscina. Conseguimos reservas nos restaurantes a la carte, todavia, precisávamos fazê-las com 1d de antecedência. Praia limpa em frente ao Hotel. Oportunidade de esportes aquáticos não motorizados.

Tudo muito lindo. Um ótimo atendimento, pessoas agradáveis em um lugar paradisíaco. Tudo perfeito. Exceto por não estar registrada nossa reserva quando chegamos...Foram 21 horas de vôo, estávamos muito cansados e isso nos aborreceu por um instante, mas tudo foi resolvido... providenciado outra opção de quarto, embora mais caro.. Comida deliciosa. Muitas […] opções para apenas 7 dias. Adorei, e com certeza voltarei com muito mais pessoas de minha família.Inesquecível.... Mehr

- Plage magnifique et très bien équipée (nombreux parasols contrairement à beaucoup d'autres hotels... Appréciable car le soleil tape fort à PC !) - Piscine immense et somptueuse avec suffisamment de transats : pas besoin de se battre - Jardins luxuriants - Chambres spacieuses et bien équipées - Restauration variée et de qualité - Clientèle très cosmopolite […] : on ne vous barbera pas de commentaires sur le temps qu'il fait en France...;-) => pour nous définitivement le meilleur hôtel à PC pour une bonne coupure sea/sun au coeur de l'hiver Conseil 1 : acheter le vol en direct auprès de la compagnie aérienne et l'hôtel sur hotels.com, vous fera réaliser de substantielles économies par rapport aux packages de certains voyagistes Conseil 2 : voyagez léger et privilégiez un bagage cabine ce qui vous évitera une très longue attente des bagages à l'aéroport... Le trajet en taxi aéroport/hôtel ne dure que 30 minutes et coûte ~30$ (cf panneau affiché à la sortie du terminal avec tous les prix officiels). Mehr

Lolalização , não poderia ser melhor. pegamos a serviço do "Service Real". otima categoria, pois nada mais é do que um hotel dentro de um hotel. praia particular, piscina particular, restaurante A La carte, muitos privilegios, carrinho de golf que nos levavam onde queriamos, nao era preciso esperar […] o trenzinho.Wiskey e outras bebidas de primeira linha a vontade.internet inclusa, realmente este "Serviço Real" é excelente, eu indico que façam um up-grade de quarto. Very nice hotel especially if you are travelling with children. Good kidsclub and nice pool area. The food is great also at the Marketplace (the big buffet). The room is big and fine. Most of the staff is very friendly. We stayed there off-season in august) and some of the restaurants were closed about 5 off them. It was very defficult to get a reservation […] for the restaurants at night. Most of the time we could only get a areservation at 5.30-6 pm or at 10 pm, which were very late. "Reunion con amigos"
El hotel es muy familiar y también le puede servir para una escapadita romántica con su novia amiga o esposa, pude compararlo con el hotel de al lado que tiene un complejo de cinco hoteles quizás mas económico que el Meliá pero nunca tan bueno, aquí no se siente el volumen de gente que maneja el hotel, en el de al lado si, loas áreas verdes son muy […] bonitas y bien mantenidas, los restaurantes aunque no son nada espectaculares, son bastante buenos y tienen mucha variedad de restaurantes, en nuestro caso fuimos dos parejas nosotros con niños de 12 y 10 y los otros con una de 5 años, no nos pudo ir mejor, la playas y las piscinas eran perfectas, y el desayuno inmejorable. "Vi reiser tilbake neste år!!"
Vi er svært fornøyd med dette hotellet som har 11 gode restauranter og en meget god buffet restautant. Vi har vært på samme sted for 5. gang nå i sommer.
