Grand Bohemian, Downtown Orlando, A Kessler Hotel - Orlando 28.54011, -81.37898

Booked a suite at the GB for a night to relax and go out downtown. GREAT price and everything my exceeded expectations since pulling in the car. Quick service, immediate in room serenity and sexy hotel. Has one of the best brunches on Sundays and Church St is a block up the street.

The hotel was very eccentric with its decorations, we all loved it. It was a very nice comfortable place for our stay. The only downfall was the distance from the convention center. We ended up renting a car because of that. The hotel itself was great and I would recommend it to anyone and plan to stay there again myself.

This hotel is nice and the service was great. However, my wife and I have stayed at other hotels that were just as clean and included more amenities for less money. The location is great for those that want to be in the middle of Downtown Orlando night life or are on a business trip. Otherwise, I wouldn't suggest this hotel for those that might be looking for a great rate at a great hotel. Stay here if your money is burning a hole in your pocket.

Stayed for a weekend in downtown Orlando...great hotel, very elegant. Good proximity to downtown restaurants/bars, but not very close to shopping.

Me and a friend booked this hotel for one night as we went to the nearby Bliss nightclub to see one of our favorite DJs. We were very impressed with everything. The ambiance of this place really sets it apart from most hotels I have stayed in. There is art everywhere, the beds were extremely comfortable, the bar/lounge was excellent, and the location was outstanding. Overall an excellent experience.

The Grand Bohemian is an outstanding Boutique hotel. As a Hospitality major in college I am trained to be overy critical of any hotel property. My expectations were surpassed by this truely luxurious property. I would recommend this property to anyone who enjoys pure satisfaction.

A little stuffy, staff not real friendly or helpful. No wi-fi as stated in ad. No gift shop, and not close to any shopping to pick up anything you might need.

Best Hotel in downtown Orlando

The hotel is very nice but do not expect good service. I decided to give the hotel a second try since it was so nice. My first visit housekeeping knocked on my door before 8am. I did not have a privacy card displayed but they still should not knock that early. Management did not seem to care. This time, I checked in at 6pm and housekeeping was cleaning the room next to me. They left room service dished outside of the room when they left. I guess it is not their job to do the dishes. The dishes were still there at 10pm when I returned for dinner. Another problem was a broken ice machine on my floor. The sign on the machine explained the problem and said to dial 0 and someone would bring ice to the room. I dial 0 and asked for ice. The guy gave me attitude and the ice never came. I don't care how nice the hotel decor is if the service is sub-par. The food and service at the bar was VERY good.

This was a very nice, luxury hotel and we enjoyed our stay. The service was prompt and polite.

We were very excited over our anticipated stay at this upscale hotel. However, we were very sadenned to find that we got substantially less than we expected. I guess our epectations were that we would be pampered here. That was not the case. I can't say that the staff was rude or unhelpful, they were just indifferent. The hotel food was enormously overpriced for what you got. We ordered a hamburger and a rueben sandwich for lunch and was charged what one might expect at a fine dining establishment. Further, the food was not much better than I could have ordered from a local cafe. Then, there was the mandatory gratuity fee, which, in the market today, would be considered userage at the 22% we paid. That, and then they charged an additional service fee for the delivery of the food to the room. The breakfast, which was very, very overpriced, was described as being accompanied by "assorted butters" and "exotic jellies". We got real butter and grape jelly. Tasted like Smuckers jelly. Exotic? Not my definition. That's what I serve every day at my own home, for much less. The room was nice, clean, but nothing special. It was just a room. The bathroom had some mold growing in the tile in the shower and the shower head was so full of scale that the shower sprayed all over the place. Then, there was the valet parking fee, which for the one night we stayed, was about 1/3 the cost we paid for the room, in addition to the room cost. We got "fee'd" to death on top of the enormous cost of the room. No, I'm afraid that I would have to say. If you are looking for an upper scale hotel where you want to be completely pampered, this is not where you should stay. This hotel is more for an executive that needs to be in the downtown Orlando area, is not going to stay more than a night or two, and is not very finicky about his surroundings. That's a fact.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Grand Bohemian Downtown Orlando. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.

I was driving up from ft. lauderdale to see a very dear friend of mine. I was able to check into the hotel at 1PM as requested. The accomodations, the bell staff, the front desk, the valet guys, the room, furnishings, ammenities, 2-headed shower..everything and every one was grand!

I missed my flight to Ca. So I needed to get a room. Wow! What a great hotel. Next trip to Orlando, I'll stay here.

loved the Boheme

This is a great hotel located downtown Orlando - within walking distance of many restaurants and nice bars. The best customer service I have experienced this year. The room was awesome - very comfortable bed and flat screen TV. This will be my hotel of choice from now on.

This hotel is very upscale and romantic. It's within walking distance of great restaurants and all the nightlife. The pool area was incredible!!

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean. It was located near alot of prime restaurants and bars.

I always enjoy staying at the Grand Bohemian Orlando: it is the flagship hotel for the Kessler chain. The artwork throughout is original, unique and thought provoking. They have a fantastic restaurant, the lounge is an amazing venue for live entertainment and socializing with professionals. I have found the staff at every level to be professional, helpful and friendly. The rooms and common areas are well maintained, arty and spotless. Room price varies greatly from time to time (perhaps based on demand), but when their rate is reasonable compared to other business hotels, this is my first choice in Orlando.

This hotel has lots to offer on property, and is conviently located to quite a few great restaurants! I highly recommend this hotel!

Overall the hotel was very nice but the temperature could have been a little cooler at night.

Great hotel. Prices at restaurant high but hotel is within walking distance of many other, cheaper places to eat. Geat experience overall, would stay again in a minute.

This hotel is beautifully adorned with original artwork, everywhere. The restaurant was spectacular and the locations was perfect. If you enjoy nice restaurants, bars, clubs and a cinema close by, this is your choice. I highly recommend this hotel.

My husband and I recently stayed here and had an amazing time. Our room (jacuzzi suite) was nicely decorated with a separate sitting area and had a nice view of downtown. We would highly recommend Boheme to have dinner and the bar was great with the sax & piano players in the evening. We will definitely stay here again when in downtown Orlando.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Grand Bohemian. The location is perfect, the decor is amazing, and the rooms are comfortable and inviting. The service was very helpful here, and all of this for a very affordable price.

Extremely comfortable, great customer service, beautiful surroundings, clean, roomy, quite rooms - didn't heard neighbors or cleaning help. Food was great, loved everything about it. Really top notch hotel and look forward to staying there again.

First stay in a 4-star hotel wasn't overwhelming. The hotel exterior and interior design and layout was very nice. The Boheme restaurant was outstanding, as well as the lounges and live jazz music. The standard king-size room was a normal hotel room size. The room decor was nice. The bed was very comfortable. Definitely needed an upgrade to a 32" to 42" HDTV, instead of 27" standard TV. The snack tray and snacks were a bit dusty for a highly rated hotel. The walls and door were on the thin side, since clear conversations could be heard in adjacent rooms and hallways. It is still the best the Orlando downtown has to offer.

Great resturant, plush rooms, beautiful art work, and the best bed I have ever slept in.
