Angenehmes Hotel, schöner Frühstücksbereich, gemütliche Lobby, traumhafte Smokies. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Habe für 2 Erw. und 3 Teenager gebucht und extra noch eine Mitteilung versandt, dass wir spät ankommen und sie bitte das 5. Bett herrichten mögen. Dies geschah leider nicht, wir mussten extra das zusätzliche Bettzeug an der Rezeption besorgen, um alle Familienmitglieder für die Nacht unterzubringen. Schade!

Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und modern. Es gibt ein ein gutes Continental Breakfast, zusätzlich mit Eiern und Waffeln. In der unmittelbaren Umgebung viele Restaurants und Shopping. 5 min zu Fuß zum Harras Spielcasino (nicht schön, verglichen mit denen in Vegas) Der Ort Cherokee bietet einiges zur Indianerkultur dieses Reservates, ist aber auch sehr, sehr stark kommerzialisiert. Schöne Bergkulisse.

We stayed a couple nights and had nothing to complain. We were out and about a lot and therefore cannot say anything about the bar, pool, gym etc., but the room and service were great!

super gelegen, Eingang zum NP Great Smoky Mountains ca. 500 m entfernt, Hotel gleich an der Hauptstraße, wo alle Restaurants, Shops und Seilbahn und die Gondel sind, man brauch abend kein Auto, alles zu Fuß erreichbar, im Zentrum. Aufenthalt im Sept. 2011

Lage
La Quinta Inn Pigeon Forge liegt in Pigeon Forge in der Nähe von Dixie Stampede Dinner Theater, Dollywood und The Comedy Barn Theater. Hollywood Wax Museum ist eine weitere in der Nähe gelegene Sehenswürdigkeit.

"Quite stay on the strip"
Stayed over the Spring Rod Run 2012, had never seen so many classic cars in one place. The hotel is close to the strip, but far enough off to prove peace and quite. Hotel is within walking distance of several restaurants and close to many of Pigeon Forge’s attractions. Room was clean, staff very friendly & helpful. Will stay again....

The hotel was over run with dogs. We spend 4 nights there and dogs barked constantly - day and night for our entire visit. When I spoke to hotel staff manager, he said he COULD NOT DO ANYTHING about the inconvenience. I find that a very strange and lame explanation from a manager to the dissatisfied paying customer. He even refused to call the pet owners […] to come back to their rooms to handle the noisy and very irritating barking dogs. We will never recommend or stay at a La Quinta again!! Mehr
"LaQuint in Pigeon Forge"
The hotel manager said that 2nd floor rooms are for guests with dog, 3rd and 4th floor are for regular guests without dog. But I found dogs everywhere, it was a dog house. I will not use this hotel anymore.
This hotel is great & close to everything in pigeon forge , , they are Pet Friendly, there Free Breakfest was pretty good also.. I would stay there again !!!

OUR ROOM NEVER GOT CLEAN NO NEW TOWELS AND YOUCOULD HEAR THE TOILETS ALL OVER THE HOTEL FLUSHING ALL NIGHT
"Pubic hair in bathroom sink"
Well, after riding for 8 hours and being dead tired, we finally got to our room and I went to brush my teeth in the bathroom. I looked down and to my horror I saw a PUBIC HAIR IN THE SINK!!!! Just as clear as day staring me in the face...I almost choked on my toothbrush as I screamed! What does that say about the rest of the bathroom/bedroom if the […] housekeeping staff could miss that?! The pillows were smashed up into balls, we were only given one small face soap to use as hand soap AND in the shower and not enough shampoo for both of us to be able to wash our hair. Also, we only received one large bath towel. I got that, my husband had to use a hand towel to dry off with. I will not be staying in this hotel in Pigeon Forge again. I've stayed at other La Quinta's but none with this sort of experience. Mehr

The room was clean and the continental breakfast was very good.
"Pet friendly paradise"
Never saw so many dogs in one place, but no noise and no mess. Spacious, clean, modern rooms. Almost too good to be true. The only short-coming was the lack of any protein at breakfast. Toast, donuts, yogurt, oatmeal and waffles. Clean pool. Friendly staff. Highly recommended by myself, my wife and our miniature schnauzers.

Good central location in pigeon fordge. Less the 15 mins form gatlinberg. Less then in any in pigeon forge. That's including setting in traffic. Definitely recommend.
It was nice and clean. Also the complimentary breakfast was good.

"eh, its ok!"
When we got there we thought they were closed. No cars in the parking lot and they were renovating. Early morning renovations made it hard to sleep in if you wanted. We took our dogs and be warned they only allow 2 pets, this is not noted anywhere on their site! We had 3 with us. Other people staying here were loud very early (5-6 am). You are right […] on the main strip in Pigeon Forge which is good because downtown Gatlinburg is about 7 min away. Would reccomend it if you weren't planning on spending alot of time in the room. The room was so small you could hardly move around no place to sit except on your bed. It was like being in a closet.

We have stayed at this hotel for several years when we visit Pigeon Forge. I had a group of 14 stay there several years ago. I like the location, it is back off of the main drag and very quite and peacful at night. The clientle had always been vcry courteus. I was traveling with a couple of friends and had made the reservations under my name. The desk […] clerk even had the room keys ready to had to us when we arrived. I have never had this service before. The breakfast was fine. I liked having the instant oatmeal available. Mehr
