Travelodge Waterford - Waterford

Very pleasant , comfortable good size room. Would stay again when next over in Ireland.However, location info. on hotel website out of date as it stated "on N25 short distance from town centre", failing to note that the new N25 bypasses the town altogether!

As most people said, if you're passing through Waterford and need a place to crash for a night that's cheap, this is it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Wifi in the room only cost 5 euros for a 24-hour period and parking was free. There's a McDonald's and Johnny Rockets right outside. The rooms are simple and appear clean... but you never really […] know about the carpets and bedding. If you're looking to stay in town longer or want more cozy accommodations, I suggest looking elsewhere. But for our quick, one-night stay passing through... it was cheap and just what we expected with no surprises. Mehr

It is a wonderful experience and lovely.

The rate for the 2 nights was very competitive, but if you arrive early! Before 3pm? there is an approx 15% surcharge? The room was clean but very basic, you get what you pay for. The TV had 8 channels and no RTE radio channel, but had local radio Channels. The remote Control did not work, which was awkward. The Bedside Lights did not work. The mattress […] on the Bed had numerous broken springs. There was 1 tablet of soap was supplied and no Shampoo or Shower gel. The room did not have a Telephone to contact reception. On a positive note, it did have Tea & Coffee making facilities and was convenient to the RSC soccer ground, the reason we stayed here. Was disappointed overall, would pay a bit more next time and use a better Hotel, for a bit more comfort. Mehr

It' sclose to WIT, but a long walk to town. The room didn't have a phone, alarm clock, and the peep hole in the door had a piece of cardboard rolled in it. The parking lot next to the hotel had kids hanging out and making noise till late at night.The staff was helpful but would not be on my list of places to stay in Waterford. The cab from town at night […] was 7-8 euro. The bus does go by, but the stop is still a good distance from the door. I would not recommend this if you are looking to be downtown. Mehr

good value, clean, quiet and comfortable. they charge for wifi unfortunately, but you can go to mcdonalds down the street for free wifi if you want. even the sofa bed was cozy.

if you're looking for a place to sleep for as cheap as possible, this qualifies, however, if you're looking for anything more, keep looking.

This hotel was clean and affordable. It was a good choice if you don't mind walking. When we arrived, we didn't want to drive anymore so it was quite a long walk to the part of town which had the pubs and the attractions. Otherwise, a good choice!

This is a hotel that gives a cheap and cheerful place to stay for the night. The room was very spacious and clean. The shower in the bathroom was fantastic!! Really strong and refreshing. The hotel is right next to two fast food outlets too, so a bit of choice if you want a quick snack before going to bed. My one gripe is that the corridors and halls […] were a bit shabby. They really could get a coat of fresh paint to make the place look smarter. Also, there was no heating in the corridors, so on a cold night, it felt distinctly chilly walking up to my room. In my room, the heater hadn't been switched on, so when I went in first, the room was freezing - including the bathroom where I wanted to have a shower. I got the room heater on and after 20 mins the room was comfortable, but it was not the most welcoming experience as I went into the room itself. Mehr

Good hotel about 15 mins walk to the centre of Waterford. Nice room with all expected facilities. Tea/coffee making available in room and fast food outlets right next to the hotel.

The hotel was what you would expect from a travellodge. Room is pretty basic, 2 beds and a portable tv but it was exactly as I expected. The hotel is attached to an Eddie Rockets and right beside a McDonalds so were a few options for something to eat within walking distance. Hotel was everything that you expect at a Travelodge for a reasonable price - if you want luxury at a much higher price, go elswhere! Two american style dinars on either side of hotel, friendly staff, value for money

It is a cheap hotel that do not offer you more than what you paid for. Regular comfort. No restaurant at the hotel, you must have breakfast at one of the two nearest restaurants where you don't find continental breakfast. Disappointing. But the hotel is OK.

El mayor problema fue que se encontraba lejos de Waterford y no había ninguna parada de autobuses cerca. Tampoco había lugares decentes para comer, sólo un par de "restaurantes" de comida rápida. Por otro lado el hotel disponía de conexión Wifi, pero no era gratuita.
