Wir waren in diesem Hotel 3 Nächte. Für diesen Preis unschlagbar. Das Frühstück ist "Kontinental", also Marmelade, Toast und amerikan. Kaffee. War für uns kein Problem, ist aber bei längerem Aufenthalt vielleicht eintönig. Das Zimmer war mit Miniküche (Spüle, Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle) ausgestattet. Es war das günstigste Hotel auf unserer Florida-Rundreise im August 2009, dennoch nicht das schlechteste. Die Lage ist optimal, parallel zum International Drive sind viele Orlando Attraktionen sehr schnell zu erreichen. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist gut, lediglich ein Kühlschrank im Zimmer hatten wir vermisst. Der Frühstücksraum war zu klein, viele […] Gäste haben sich ihr Frühstück mit aufs Zimmer genommen. Das Hotel ist überraschend gut. wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Das Hotel ist optimal mit seiner Lage als Ausgangspunkt für verschiedene Unternehmungen. Liegt ruhig.Preislich günstig und saubere Zimmer mit Frühstück inkl und Pool. Reception rund um die Uhr besetzt. Nettes Personal. Waschmöglichkeit im Nachbarhotel.

Great location. Not a bad hotel just another regular hotel definitely not a resort! (which I had to pay resort fees to stay there)

I like this hotel. Yes it is old and needs upgrades, but it is clean and airy and the staff is very nice. I have had two stays here, and will certainly return again. It has a nice location.

Location good, clean except the smokers hall smells like smokers. rooms are small but adequate, for the price it was fine, nice international mix of guests

In general, I liked the Hotel. The staff is nice, helpful. The only thing I did not like was the breakfast room. Very, very small. There are seven tables with 2 chairs each. Considering the hotel has 130 rooms, fourteen places for having breakfast is ridiculous. And the little time for breakfast - from 6am to 9am -, due to the amount of places, makes […] having breakfast there unbearable. In spite of that, I do recommend the Hotel due to its nice location and good price. Mehr

Myself, husband and children enjoyed our stay at the Floridian. It was just off of Sand Lake and International Drive where all the sites of Orlando are. Right in the heart of things and minutes from the Florida Mall. Great location! Continental breakfast was awesome!

We had to wake up at 5 am in order to catch our flight and asked the front desk for a wake up call. The wake up call never happened and if we had not set our alarms as a back up, we would have missed our flight.

We spent two nights at The Floridian. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and pretty much as expected. The decor was outdated, and the TV was small and perched precariously on top of the wardrobe, high up in a corner, but we weren't there to watch TV anyway. The free continental breakfast was as good or better than expected - […] cereal, bread, donuts, fruit. Plus, there was French toast one morning and waffles the next, which were presented cold but could be heated in the toaster. (We didn't try them, so can't attest to taste.) The free wi-fi was pretty much useless to us. We were at the far end of the hall on the third floor, and we barely received the wireless signal at all. We ended up tethering to a cell phone instead because the internet was wi-fi was crawling. The pool was nice and not crowded at all, though it wasn't very hot during our stay. The location is excellent if you're going to Universal or SeaWorld, or will be spending any time on International Drive. We had reserved a "junior suite" which was listed as having one bed and one pull-out sofa. When we arrived, we were given a room with two queen beds. This was fine for us - actually, better. Overall, The Floridian provided a comfy place for our family to stay while visiting Orlando. Considering the low price, it was everything we could have asked for. We would stay there again. Mehr

The rate was great. We normally stay here and have gotten great service but the gentleman who checked us in was not very friendly and a little rude. Room was nice but not what we thought we were getting from the room description on the website. Good breakfast.

This hotel is in a great location with easy access to Universal, dining and I -4. It is very reasonable. The service and room were adequate and clean, but the room was old and nothing fancy. We needed a pull out couch which was difficult to set up because a bar underneath was bent. The mattress was thin and frayed. Also, no extra linens were in the […] room. They were provided by the person at the front desk. The front desk person offered us another room, but it was a smoking room and we are allergic to cigarette smoke. Besides the rate they charge a resort fee at the check out.

I booked the wrong size room online and upon arriving, the staff had everything straightened out. They also offered to keep the pool open all night as long as we weren't too noisy/loud. Great staff. The actual hotel had some wear and tear and the rugs/carpet were in rough shape. The location had about a billion things to do within a mile distance. Overall, […] great time! Mehr

We really enjoyed staying there and would stay there again

An okay hotel for it's age. We spent most of our time at surrounding events so really only slept at the hotel. The pool was a little cool, but tolerable. The neighborhood was quite so easy to sleep. Staff were very cordial and the morning breakfast was quite adequate.

Hotel was nice. We had to go back down stairs to the reception area to get bed linens for couch bed for my son to sleep on. Pool area was nice, but it was too cold to swim when we had time. Breakfast was ok, nothing fancy, just pastries and cereal. Was a good value though and close to what we were doing and people we were visiting.

The hotel has queen size beds and the price that makes it an excellent value. The staff was friendly and helpful. Even though its an older hotel, its still great.

I did not rate a 5 for comfort because one of the beds felt like it was broke. But we just slept in the other bed. The room was very clean and of good size. There wasn't a hair dryer in our room, but the front desk was quick to contact maintenance and get one installed. I was very pleased with this hotel. The overall quality of this hotel is bad. Not very clean and people who book there are dirty and loud. The management of the hotel do not anything to keep you happy. They just do not care..

Rooms were clean, the staff was polite and breakfast included. Also shuttle to Universal was a big plus. I'd definitely recommend..!

A no frills, plain Jane hotel. Great place to stay for budget conscience travelers. Clean rooms, should have more pillows and towels. Continental breakfast nothing to write home about. Walls are not sound proof as we had to listen to slamming doors and arguments in the next room. Quiet location in the middle of everything.

We arrived late at night so that is the only reason we did not go to another Hotel. Soon as we walked in we saw chairs that had stains and know one around to greet us. After a few minutes of waiting around some one arrived. We went to our room to see the door was opened a couple of inches. We opened the door to see that the room was cleaned and serviced […] but the comforters were torn. When we left in the morning we tried the breakfast and it was also not good at all. Bad coffee and the few things they had tasted freezer burned. The Hotel seems very old and needs to be updated. I am not very fussy at all but this was a bad experience and I am sure anyone else would think the same. Mehr

The breakfast was really poor and not really good. One day was breakfast lobby overcrowded, so we had to wait for 20 minutes for seat. My bed smelled like a wet towel after few days. When I wanted something in the front desk, the officer was somewhere in the back on the computer and I had to wait long time until he came. Great central location, close to everything, clean and just as advertised

The breakfast is Ok for the price. I had a problem with the room that I booked - non-smoking, when I got at the hotel they gave me smoking rooms, it was disgusting...so I went back to them and asked for an non-smoking room and they said everything were full...I was so upset, with 3 kids with smoking rooms??? so after an hour they got me non-smoking […] room. Although this hotel was in a great location, close to international drive, easy access to SeaWorld and lots of resturants.....some of the amentities lacked. The continential breakfast was less than desired with no fruit. Area to sit was very small and crowded. When I booked the room, I put a note with our reservation to state we would be arriving late […] and we did need a non smoking room because of my allergies. When we arrived to check in, we were put in a smoking room, although clean and smoke free, the hallway and adjoining rooms were not. When we inquired the next day about switching rooms we were told they were booked up and they could not make any changes. Overall the hotel was clean and nice, the room had a mini frig and microwave in it. I am not sure we would stay there again just because I would not take the chance of being in a smoking room. The one thing we thought odd was the floors were combined, one hallway non smoking and the adjoining hallway smoking rooms. Really.... Mehr

Bed linen and towels worn out. Didn't feel good about cleanliness.

I have stayed at many hotels in my travels over the years and I have never encountered a front desk staff as cold as the one at this hotel. I was not greated with a hello or any sort of acknowledgement. When we checked we where still not spoken to in any way. They are the rudest staff I have met. The pool was filthy and unuseable. I would never return […] to this hotel. I am surprised since there are so many hotel choices that they would let employees act like that. Mehr

Terrible customer service by not only The Floridian Hotel, but also Hotel.com. My room did not have a working TV nor refrigerator the first night of my stay. There was no maintance man to fix the problem until the next morning. They claimed to have no room to move us to and we were told they would make it up to us. We were not compensated at check out […] because there was no manager on duty and told one would call me thursday. When I received no call I contacted the hotel, they scoffed at my request for compensation. Even telling me that I was satisfied with my service. This was never the case. I am polite and "assumed" that in doing so would be treated fairly. After getting no where with the hotel I contacted Hotel.com and told there was nothing they could do because I waited to long. The lady Patrica I spoke with was condisending in dealing with me and informed me it was my word againsted the hotel. She stated "maam I understand your frustration, but there is nothing we will do for you. Had you contacted us sooner." I ask you, what would sooner have been? I'm sure the minute you charged my card it was to late to complain. What happened to good customer service? Mehr

The room was basic. No frills. Everything was fine. The only complaint about the room was that it had mold in the shower, on the wall. Overall a good place to sleep if you don't plan on spending too much time in your room.

The hotel was in a very convenient location. The continental breakfast was decent. The rooms were clean but the bed sheets have seen better days. They were tore and dingy. We went to the front desk to get an extra blanket and it was ripped basically in half.

There was mouse feces on the dresser. I report to the desk clerk that the toilet is stopped up, she replys that there's nothing she can do all of her rooms are full and she can give me a plunger if I want. To top it all off my credit card was charged a small fee that I was never informed about. Oh yeah, breakfast was toast or two choices of cold ce […] real. Mehr

For the money it wasnt bad. Wouldnt stay for a lengthy time but for one night it was ok. Needs some remodeling.

The Floridian was well suited for the cost of the room. Convenient to the I-Ride Trolley and many restaurants. the breakfast was a very lite continental, but still satisfactory. Highly recommend if you are on a budget.

Bad customer service. The sheets were ripped, and my shower head was not working.

The sight and area was great, and the hotel staff was very professional.

Nice hotel in quiet area off main drag close to large mcdonalds around corner and I-4. Stayed there while visiting Disney. Great value with adequate breakfast. Clean. Can't beat the price with breakfast. We didn't try the pool because we went to Disney Waterpark, but it looked nice.

We were first put in a room that was not clean. Hairs on the bed, food in the room, used soap & shampoo in the bathroom. I complained. We were moved. The condition of the second room not much better. The bed linens were worn and torn. The a\c did not work. Only salvation was the window opened. I complained again the next morning, they apologized and […] still charged me the resort fee!!!! Never again will I stay there. Other hotels in the area offered equivalent rates with much better accommodations. Mehr

No fitness area to work out in the morning. The breakfast offerings were sparse and with only two toasters (actually one, since one broke during my stay) it became a long wait to toast bread or warm up waffles. We arrived and were checked into a room on 1st floor. All rooms had no smoking on the doors except ours. When we checked in the receptionist stated that we requested a smoking room... So they knew that. We noticed late on the evening of our check in day that there was a sign in the room saying that this was a NO SMOKING room. I went down to front desk […] double checked that we were ok in that room and was told that it was fine. On the last night of our 6 night stay, we returned after a long day out to find a statement saying we would incur a $150 cleaning fee for smoking in a no smoking room. I went down to clear it up and the manager said I had not been charged yet. I said whatayou mean not yet? He said he would not charge me as long as I didn't smoke anymore in there. I said I could tell you we wont smoke in there anymore but I would be lying. He said he would have to charge us. I said move me to a smoking room then. He said ok. He put us in a room as far away from ou car and current room as he could find. Knowing full well we would be checking out at 5:15 the next morning. Not one time did THE MANAGER say he was sorry for the inconvenience!!!! Mehr
