Ramada Limited Airport East - Oklahoma City

outside, ok, but room, clean!!!!

My only complaint is the deposit fee that I didn't know about ahead of time.

The Staff were courteous and helpful. The surrounding area doesn't seem great however the location is close to the airport . Overall it was quiet and for me it was great that they had the Golf Channel on their television listings! The room was clean and had microwave, refrigerator and a new air conditioning unit.

For many years whenever me or my family were traveling to an unfamiliar area we knew we could reserve a room at a Ramada and not be disappointed. Well we have come to realize that is no longer the case. The last few times we have traveled we stayed at a Ramada and all 3 times we were not only disappointed but angry to have paid that much money for a […] room that was run down and dirty. The last room we stayed in scared me. I was afraid I was going to take bugs home from the filth or catch something from the dirty sheets. Needless to say we paid for a second room to stay in. The hotel was convenient to where I wanted to be but I was not impressed with the cleanliness (or lack thereof) in the bathroom.

This is an older hotel although you can tell the staff tries to keep it in good condition. From the outside I thought I had made a very poor choice, but once I saw the inside of the room I felt better. Desent, clean room, just stopping through for night, met our needs! Not the best neighborhood, but that cannot be controlled by hotel! Great little pancake house next door!

I had a comfortable stay at this hotel. The king bed was comfortable. Plenty of pillows. Microwave & refrigerator in the room. Enjoyed hot waffles and juice every morning in the lobby. The only inconvenience was a problem connecting to the free wi-fi. The night clerk said it was probably a security issue on my computer, but the day clerk said their […] modem sometimes needs to be reset. She reset it and I was online. The next day I had to call down and have them reset the modem again. A small inconvenience. Next door is a 24hr. coffee shop and next to that is a Braums. Braums is an ice cream/dairy store/restaraunt. Their ice cream is the best! Don't miss it. I will be staying here again next time I need to make a trip to Oklahoma City. Mehr

I was in town on business but was unable to use the internet during my trip. I was not pleased with this hotel!!

We stayed for a couple of days. I couldn't expect anything better. Though it is located very next to the highway, I never heard any noise. It was quiet, very clean, good smell. Personnel was very quick and polite. There is nothing I can complain at all. If I had to go back to Oklahoma City, there is no doubt I am going to go back to this hotel. We spent the night before flying back home. The hotel had a free shuttle service and were very accomodating. We dropped off the car at the ariport after dinner and they brought us back to the hotel (arriving less than 15 mins after our call). We also had an early flight and the shuttle was ready At 5:30am, as requested.

The help was very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed our visit. Dorothy

THE MANAGER CHARGED ME AN EXTRA $50.00 BECAUSE WE WANTED TO CHECK IN A FEW HOURS EARLY, AFTER DRIVING 17 HRS FROM MICHIGAN. HE MADE IT SOUND LIKE I WAS PAYING FOR ONE OF THE DAY'S . I DIDN'T FIND OUT UNTIL I GOT MY BANK STATEMENT. WATCH THIS GUY. HE'S SLICK

Easy to access airport. Nice enough to stay a night or two for business.

This is a budget hotel, If you are looking for a Ramada then this isnt for you. If you are looking for a budget hotel near the airport with lots of food options nearby, or need to visit the community college, it is perfect. However, if you are looking for a classic Ramada style experience...look elsewhere. The FREE hotel shuttle runs hourly upon request, […] and there is a $50 deposit for the room. Breakfast for those who dont have to fly out earlier and a pool also available. The complaints of the neighborhood from other reviews scared me about this hotel, but its fine, it isn't a residential or nice looking area, but i wasn't at any time afraid for my safety. I was satisfied with my room accept for the smell of oil. I stayed in room 110 and there is an unmistakable smell of a car mechanic after work that never went away. other than that I was completely satisfied, it was 105° outside and the room was nice and cold and bedding clean and soft. the pillows are the best I have experienced in awhile and the clerk […] was happy to send a fedex package for me. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. The toilet wouldn't flush but maybe 2-3 times each day and the shower was steaming hot then ice cold, no in between.

Hotel was ok for short notice trip. However when checking in I had requested a smoking room to acomodate my father but when there was told no smoking rooms where available. This was really an inconvenience since my father had to step outside the room and the neighborhood was not the greatest.

The Ramada Inn Limited is just that-- rather limited in its offerings. The hotel map in the room shows a pool, but when I went to find it-- in warm weather-- it was dry and looked abandoned. The hotel was across the street from where I needed to be the next morning early, but I think I'd happily stay a little farther away to avoid the surrounding neighborhood. […] I don't scare easily but this place seemed trashy, despite being across from a decent-looking residential neighborhood and a community college. I was the only one staying in my room and I barely had room to move around. I'm an average-sized person who doesn't need acres of space, but there was barely a path between the bed and the TV for one to travel from the door of the room to the bathroom. Moreover, the door lock didn't work so great-- not good under the best of circumstances but especially disconcerting in this location. I piled furniture in front of the door and didn't go out again after about 5pm. In summary-- unless you're really hard-up for cash, stay elsewhere. Mehr

The hotel is obviously older, but it has been renovated and everything worked. The staff was courteous, and the continental breakfast was satisfactory. 24 hour restaurant next door.

I just needed a place to sleep for the night cuz I missed my flight. This met all my needs as far as convenience, comfort and cleanliness. It's nothing fancy by any stretch of the imagination, but gave me a comfortable bed for the night. The "one man show" staff was very nice and helpful.

The other Ramada on S. Meridian was a better choice. This hotel says it's 1.8 miles from the airport but that doesn't take into account the tollway, Ramada was closer, straight shot to airport. The 1t room we were given, door broken couldn.t enter room, eventual room tub was dirty. Hotel not in the best shape and the neighborhood seemed a little faulty. […] Staff was pleasant though. Mehr

The employees (front desk) have no atitutu to comfort and security to the guests while in the room. The front door was barely close with big gap, bath tub was stained, coffee pot lid was missing & I was afraid to use it (looks dirty). "No pet aollowed" was specified in the wesit, I saw a cat came out one of the rooms & the kids were chaseing. I do […] not want to stay in the any hotel allow pet. Bed bugs are bad enough. I just needed a hotel for the night and transportation to and from the airport. There was no one staffing the lobby when I arrived, so I had to wait about 20 minutes to check in. This was a minor inconvenience. The rooms were older and outdated, but nothing unacceptable. The room was clean. The bathroom had a nice shower at a good height, which was […] appreciated. I slept well in the bed. The shuttle going to the airport was easy. It took about twice as long as they said to be picked back up, but that was okay. I was picked up in about 30 minutes. Overall, considering the price and complimentary transportation, I would say the hotel was a good value. Mehr

From the outside it did not look like a Ramada. The room was very nice.

The staff was very helpful and the room was better than expected. It was convenient to restaurants and to the airport. I would recommend staying there.

From the outside it looked decent but the inside was pretty bad. Nothing in the bathroom worked including toliet, shower, sink or hairdryer! it is located right behind a 24 hour restaurant which is a little sketchy. Not exactly what we were expecting.

I WAS TOLD WE COULD HAVE CONNECTING ROOMS. THERE WERE NONE. ELECTRICITY WAS OFF IN THE ROOM NEXT DOOR. WE WERE TWO DOORS DOWN. THEY TELL YOU TO PARK CLOSE TO THE OFFICE DUE TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD.

Some of the reviews of the hotel made me somewhat skeptical of the stay. The room I stayed in was not all that bad. The toilet was running but I just turned it off while I was there and turned it back on before I left so as not to hear it running all night. One concern was the $50 credit card "deposit" for incidentals that was promised to be credited […] back at check out. However at my early checkout I had to mention the $50 credit and then the customer service rep got me my credited receipt for checking out. I am not sure if this is common practice or if the hotel credits back the $50 if asked...just an observation. Other then that it is extremely close to the airport, close to an all night diner and kept me on budget. Mehr

My sisters and I were scared to stay at this hotel. The hotel did not match the picture on the internet. The hotel was run down and had people lottering around. We thought a homeless person was sleeping in the laundry mat. Our toliet was clogged and our bathtub did not drain. The coffe pot in our room still had the grinds in it. This was a good hotel for the rates. It was cool. I called ahead and made special requests, with a polite reception. I got in late, there was someone waiting and all amenities were as promised. The complimentary breakfast was great too.. This place is not fancy, but good class and great stay

I purchased this hotel for the price, but felt a little nervous about my purchase from the reviews. Despite some negative reviews the hotel was worth it mainly b/c it was close to the Will Rogers Airport, Shuttle Service was avaliable with no additional charge, and breakfast was decent. Only complaint was that the room smelled like smoke.

but also not the worst, the hotel was just an average hotel. i didnt have a chance to check out the pool, but when i arrived in okc i called to get a shuttle at the airport(they claim to have a 24 hour shuttle) i was told it would be at least an hour. then the next day when i needed a shuttle back to the airport i was told there wasnt one available. […] but because i had 3 hours before i had to be at the airport they where able to get one for me.
