kleines aber feines hotel in super lage. frühstücksbuffet war ein traum! ausstattung des hotels ist ok- leider gab es nur sauna und solarium. also angbote nicht so groß. zimmer sind super schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. für einen städte-trip in stockholm nur empfehlenswert!

Ideal gelegenes Hotel für einen Aufenthalt in Stockholm. Gleich neben dem Bahnhof (Arlanda Express vom Flughafen), alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuss/per Boot erreichbar. Auf der Strassenseite etwas lärmig. Superior-Zimmer mit Balkon zu empfehlen.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und ruhig. Die Station der Schnellbahn vom Flughafen ist nur etwa 150 Meter vom Hoteleingang entfernt. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind bequem zu Fuss erreichbar.

Ankunft in Stockholm war am Morgen und wir konnten bereits um 10:30h einchecken. Leider mussten wir uns im Zimmer mit einem zusätzlichen Klappbett abfinden (total 3 Betten).Das mit dem Klappbett war so nicht kommuniziert worden.Service war aber super.

Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Hotel is well placed for walking distance, or at least to the nearest tram/bus stops....We only had the complimentary breakfast at the hotel, but that was fantastic!!!! If we were to return to Sweden, this is the hotel we would definitely stay at. Price is acceptable. One of the great features we found, was […] that you can book your us of the sauna, and it is private us!!! We had absolutely no trouble booking this room any evening we wanted it...... Mehr

If you have reason to be in this area - this hotel is about a 3 minute walk from the Arland Express train, has a decent restaurant (without ridiculous hotel prices). Rooms were modern and comfortable. I'd go back.

Frey's Hotel Stockholm - very clean, comfortable and friendly. Staff most helpful and convenient location.

Everything about the hotel from the price to the welcoming and helpful staff, its location and the hotel's services - all were absolutely superb and I would highly recommend this to all types of consumers - we were 8 lads who had an awesome time and could appreciate the different types of crowds. The hotel reception/lobby is beautifully fit-out with […] a fabulous restaurant serving lovely dishes and the best breakfast I've had out of all the hotels I have been to. The bar which I believe is called the 'Belgium Bar' is an attraction itself with the choice of hundreds of different beers among other drinks. Overall I have not one bad thing to say about my 4 day stay and would certainly not think twice about staying there on my next visit to Sweden which will be soon! :) Mehr

Clean and central in the Stockholm city. 3 min walk from central station and 5 min to shopping street and centre.

Checked in at 2am to be greeted by a first class female night receptionist. We were very lucky to get a free upgrade as we had four large suitcases and initial room, although lovely was a bit small. Breakfast was superb offering a large choice in both continental and cooked and extended to 11am on weekends. The hotel is literally a two minute walk […] from City Terminalen - the main centre for train , bus and metro connections. Bofhous restaurant opposite the station offered steaks and burgers at reasonable prices. The hotel is close to a pedestrianised shopping area not far from the old town. One negative - staff on front desk did not provide accurate directions for tours etc so check your map! Despite this I would go back. Mehr

Freys Hotel is centrally-located, near the Central Station of the T-Bana. It was clean, and decorated with lots of characters - not like your run-of-the-mill business hotels!

Hotel is right in front of Arlanda High speed train exit to the city about 100M away. Location is good as you can take metro, buses to any parts of the city just outside the hotel. Hotel breakfast is good with many choices and the reception staffs are friendly and helpful. It is a good choice. Room is small but comfortable. It is convenient to have […] Stockholm city card with you as if you intend to visit the Muesium and travel around the city. Stockholm is a expensive city comparing to Germany Austria and other parts of Sourthern part of Europe. Toilets in public places need to pay and you will need to know where to go for free access. We had a wonderful time at the Freys Hotel! The breakfast buffet was terrific and we appreciated the long hours of the service (6:30-10:30 on weekdays and 7-11 am on weekends). The hotel is in an ideal location... blocks to terrific shopping and a 5-10 minute walk to the waterfront ferries, and other transportation options. The Freys Hotel is so convenient to the city centrum and especially to the Arlanda Express,as it is literally three minutes by foot. The hotel staff are wonderful, warm and accommodating to their guests.

We stayed there (parents with 2 kids) for 3 nights and liked it very much. The location is great: close almost to everything that i's "must see". Clean room, however was a little small for the 4 of us. Breakfast was good. Helpful stuff. Definitely recommended.

Hotel is in a great location. Breakfast is good, though strangely poorly lit. Our room was miniature and the beds were like cots. Our window was directly above the beer pub and cigarette and cigar smoke wafted in all the time. As well, the window was beside the neon sign of the hotel....it felt like the episode of Seinfeld when kramer gets a tan from […] from the neon fried chicken sign. Mehr

The location on this hotel is very good, it is close to Stockholm's central train and bus stations. The rooms were small and cozy but very clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. Great breakfast in the morning too. We had to leave early the last morning but the staff made us a breakfast to take with us on on travels home. I would recommend this […] hotel to others. Mehr

Frey's hotel in Stockholm, Sweden is a nice place close to all the amenities, Gamla Stan, transport and areas of interest. The staff are pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately it does not have air conditioning and this is a downside particularly in warm weather. Like most of Sweden, it is fairly expensive, but does offer rooms for an entire family.

I had a tiny single room but it was so well designed that it felt spacious. The mini fridge has a large bottle of 100% Pure Tap Water, which is such a welcome change from the hotels that put lots of little bottles around with huge price tags on them. The breakfast was fantastic, the wifi service was clear and strong. The front desk staff were helpful […] and accommodating in everything from printing out boarding passes to mailing a package home for me. I couldn't have picked a better spot in Stockholm. Go! They said they were just updating their last rooms. Honestly I don't know if mine was updated or not. Bathroom looked quite new and nice (though tiny) but the decor of the room looked like it was 15 years old. Rooms were tiny as they often are in Sweden, so if booking a single room don't expect anything more than a 90 cm double bed. There wasn't even […] space for a side table. Next time I'll stay somewhere else. I will defenitely return to their restaurant though, Belgobaren, with excellent Belgian mussels and impressive assortment of Belgian beers. Mehr

A pleasant hotel ideally situated for central Stockholm sight seeing. Refurbishment of the smallish bedrooms about to begin. A very good breakfast was provided in the hotel restuarant.

The most perfect Stockholm Hotel. In the central business district, modestly priced and directly across the street from the Arlanda Express, the airport bullet train. The breakfast buffet is the best feature. There are so many American and Swedish choices from eggs to cookies, you can skip lunch. We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

This hotel was very convenient and good value. It is especially convenient if traveling to/from the airport, as the express train station is only about a block away. The hotel is on a quiet street, and the breakast buffet was fine. Our only problem was that it is not air conditioned, and it was quite warm in the room, even at night. They did provide […] a fan, but it wasn't much help. Overall, we would definitely stay here again. Mehr

The hotel was very accessible to downtown Nd the train station. the hotel restaurant was very good with a Belgian menu and very nice beer selection. Reception staff were great.

I cannot understand how a hotel without air conditioning can get a 4 star rating. This is a tired looking property. It is adequate for your first night or two until you get oriented to the city, but there are better places elsewhere. Breakfast is basic and unimaginative, and getting your food from the buffet is almost a body contact sport in a gloomy, […] crowded breakfast room. Unlike our warm welcome, checkout was not a good experience. It would be nice to get a smile rather than a snarl. Mehr

Really enjoyed our stay. Hotel really clean and comfortable and located within 3 minutes walk of train station. Excellent breakfast. Would most definitely stay at this hotel again!

the junior suite is worth a few dollars extra, the rooftop balcony walk-out from your room gives you a great view of Stockholm with Brad Pitt-Robert Redford "Spy Game" kind of feel. It was very cool. Room was spotless and bed very comfortable.

I recently met a friend in Stockholm. We stayed at the Freys Hotel and were pleased withe the great location. We walked to the opera, Old Town Gamla Stan, great shopping, and the Arlanda Express. The staff was more than helpful and friendly. The room was clean and efficient but our single with two twins was quite small. Veldig sentral beliggenhet. Kort vei fra sentralstasjonen ved ankomst/avreise. I tillegg lå alle severdigheter rett rundt hjørnet. Meget fornøyd med oppholdet.

Jag var här upp på affärsresa de två första dagarna och hade sedan bokat ett lite större rum då familjen skulle komma upp och vi skulle spendera helgen i Stockholm. Jag frågade om det möjligen fanns en chans att få behålla mit gamla rum tills de nya var färdigt och det var inga problem alls. De flyttade till och med bagaget mellan rummen. Har bott på […] en del hotell i Stockholm och detta var riktigt bra och speciellt läget på en lugn gata men ändå mycket centralt. Personalen var mycket trevliga så inget att klaga på där heller. Absolut ett hotell som jag kommer att återvända till. Personalen är omtänksam, serviceminded och kunnig. Mycket familjär stämning! Läget är kanon & belgobaren har mycket gott öl...

Oppholdet på Freys var meget hyggelig,veldig hyggelig betjening og flott hotell.... Beliggenheten var helt ypperlig i forhold til gamlebyen og sentrum.

Riktigt trevligt hotell väldigt nära centralen. Trevlig personal, bra service. RIktigt sköna sängar. Trevlig bastu-avdelning som man kunde boka och använda utan extra kostnad. Rekomenderas
