Meine Mutter, Schwester und ich waren zum ersten Mal in dem Hotel Derag Livinghotel Karl Theodor und es hat uns sofort überzeugt: Die Räumlichkeiten sind schön und stilvoll gestaltet und das Doppelzimmer mit Beistellbett bietet ausreichend Platz und Komfort für drei Personen. Zudem befindet sich das Münchener Hotel in ruhiger Lage, man hört kein Auto. […] Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt auf jeden Fall! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, man fühlt sich einfach wohl. Vor allem die Lage nahe des Olympiaparks (nur 10 min mit dem Auto) war ausschlaggebend für die Buchung. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Mehr

Nettes Personal, kleine Küche im Zimmer mit täglich kostenlosem Wasser und Bier. Wasserkocher und Instantkaffee auch frei. U-Bahn ca. 5 Gehminuten, Stadt ca. 5-10 Fahrminuten. Hotel gerade für junge Leute empfehlenswert.

Das Hotelliegt in der Nähe zur Innenstadt, gute Anbindung mit Tram in 10 Minuten da, sehr großzügige Räumlichkeiten (2 Zimmer mit Küche), guter Service, sehr ruhige Lage.

Gesamteindruck gut, nahe bei vielen Sehenswuerdigkeiten, mit oeV in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Eine U-Bahnstation befindet sich ca. 7Minuten zu Fuss vom Hotel entfernt.

Es führt keine Straße direkt am Hotel vorbei und es werden daher auch keine Ohrstöpsel benötigt.. Die Straßenbahn (direkte Linie zum Hbf) und die U-Bahn sind in 5 Gehminuten zu erreichen. Der Preis für das Frühstück ist etwas zu hoch. Dem Zimmerservice fiel leider nicht auf, dass das Wasser im Waschbecken nur sehr zögerlich ablief.

Angenehme Atmosphäre, ich fühlte mich wohl und willkommen. In der Lobby wird ständig Kaffee angeboten. Die Zimmer sind durchdacht ausgestattet und ich habe nichts vermisst. Die Miniküche ist knapp aber ausreichend ausgestattet für einen selbstgemachten Kaffee oder Tee zwischendurch. Vorne zur kaum befahrenen Straße hinaus ist wegen benachbartem Supermarkt, […] Gemeindezentrum und Restaurant etwas mehr Unruhe und bei sonnigem Sommer-Wetter heizen sich die Zimmer mehr auf. Zur Rückseite liegen die Zimmer wirklich ganz ruhig. Parken kann man i. d. R. auf der Straße vor dem Hotel. Als unangemessen empfand ich lediglich den Frühstückspreis, sofern man dafür nicht den Zimmerservice beansprucht. Mehr

Das Derag Hotel Karl Theodor liegt nahe des Olympiaparks in München Gern in einer sehr ruhigen Wohngegend. Lärm gibt es hier praktisch nicht, Parkplätze findet man in der näheren Umgebung und man kann den Supermarkt sowie das italienische Restaurant Amadeo welche sich im Haus befinden nutzen. Die Zimmer sind eher klein, aber zweckmäßig ausgestattet. […] Ideal ist die kleine Küchenecke mit Mikrowelle und Kühlschrank. Die generelle Einrichtung ist nicht neu, aber zweckmässig. Gerade für einen Kurzaufenthalte von ein paar Tagen in denen man München erkunden möchte ist es gut geeignet, da günstige Anbindung an U-Bahn. Mehr

The Derag Hotel was a wonderful find in the middle of Oktoberfest. The suite was wonderful with two levels with the double bedroom and bathroom upstairs and the living area and kitchen downstairs. There is a grocery store a few steps from the front door of the hotel which is so convenient. The subway stop is approximately two blocks away. We would stay […] at this hotel again and again. Mehr

Good location for public transport, nice location near the olympic village, felt very safe. Excellent room facilities, including kitchen - although some things were missing (cutlary) I am sure that had we have asked, this would have been provided. 2 storey room very clean. Very good and helpful staff. No aircon (it was 30C) but they did provide a large […] fan quickly. Would recommend. Mehr

Modern, clean, comfortable and 5 mins from U-Bahn stop.

Chose this hotel since it was close to the Welt and U-Bahn / S-Bahn. Ended up walking, which did take some time, but taxi there is roundabout also. The hotel was excellent for the price, right next to an Italian trattoria with good food. Quiet, residential neighborhood. A German market right out the hotel door, so inexpensive shopping for things you […] need on a trip, water, toothpaste, wine, food, vegatables, etc, something like a small neighborhood grocery in the US. The hotel room was set on four floors with mini kitchen. The room had basic facilities but for the price was good. The hotel is in a good location and easily accessible to the centre of town. Breakfast seemed quite expensive but I guess you get what you pay for! Would recommend as a good base whilst seeing Munich

The hotel is situated about 5 minutes walk from Gern underground station, in the middle of a residential area. The only restaurant we could find nearby was the Italian attached to the hotel - fortunately very nice food & not too expensive. A short walk from the Olympic Park, without the need to cross any roads. Very friendly & helpful staff - I had […] a birthday whilst staying there 7 the hotel gave me a card signed by all the staff! Our only complaint would would be the local church bells ringing at 7:45 each moring - chiming over 180 times (yes we did count!) Lovely hotel, the room was HUGE... not the most modern, but it was clean and comfortable. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Supermarket just a few meters away was very handy. Only a few minute walk to train station which only took minutes to reach the city centre. Overall great stay and would definately recommend.

The hotel is great and the staff is excellent. They allowed us to check in 5 hours earlier and checkout 3 hours later due to our flight. It's not far from the Ubaun (5 minutes) and the grocery store downstairs has the best breads and breakfast goods in the morning. The bad side is the lack of aircondition and the two beds as a queen. Good hotel. Service people were excellent, as was the in house resturant. The small grocery store right beside the hotel was a handy bonus.

The hotel staff was very helpful. We had a mix up in or flight plans and had to book an extra night but they made it very easy. The rooms are very interesting architecturally speaking.

The hotel is comfortable, and the majority of the staff pleasant and helpful. Other than the Italian restaurant in the hotel and another Italian restaurant near the metro station, we found no restaurants in the neighborhood.

This got to be the best value hotel in Munich. Considering the price I paid this hotel offers excellent value for money. The hotel is located in a leafy residential suburb right next to the Olympic park. At the same time it is within easy proximity to the City Centre with the U Bahn Station just minutes away. They were very helpful and friendly and made the customer feel important (which is a lost art these days.). The cost of the room even includes two free bottles of beer and water and 1 hour of free internet use. I did not eat at the restaurant or ate breakfast in the hotel, therefore would not be able to comment on the food. But 14 Euro for Breakfast sounds about right. This was truly a great find and I will definitely stay in this hotel again and also recommend others to stay here. The only one tiny issue was not having air condition in the room and the time I went( in July) there was a heat waive on throughout Europe which did make the room a bit stuffy the first night. But I was given a stand fan after the first day, which made this a non issue. Overall an Excellent Establishment. Mehr

Business-like hotel with sauna, services, and professional staff. Near the end of subway line (station: Gern then 5-minute stroll) but you can walk to the Olympic Park (.5 km) from there and a palace is also nearby. Supermarket is 15 seconds from front door. Rooms have hot water pot, fridge, and stove top. However, I was told my room did not come stocked […] with any pots or utensils (implied due to cheaper room rate). Hotel did supply two free bottles of beer (Premium Pils) and two waters EACH night. Given the expensive price of some rooms there, and in Munich proper, hotel was good value. Mehr

very good place I had at all 3 interactions with the flexible, effective hotel staff some real nice chat with classic munich humor, I enjoyed it a lot. (I lived many years ago for less many years in Munich). Monaco Franze könnts nich besser. Everything clean (incl. Fitness room), functional, etc. Breakfast with 14 € I find a little expensive, but you […] can do it by your own in the room. Supermarket/bakery, good and frequented restaurant directly in front of the hotel. A really perfect place for no-nonsense/budget-conscious business travellers. Only caveat:; W-LAN rates are insane, but who needs that in times of a 20€/m 10 GB UMTS flatrate (Tschibo) for wireless internet accesss everywhere in the whole republic. Mehr

Hotel is located in a quiet residential area about five minutes from the u-bahn. From there it is a few minutes ride to the center of Munich. If you are driving there is free parking in the street. There is a market just across the walkway and a great Italian restaurant below the hotel called Amadeo's. The staff was friendly and helpful. I did not eat […] the breakfast so I cannot comment. The room was comfortable. The shower was small but not too cramped. There was a fridge in the room with complimentary beer and water. My husband and I stayed there for two nights and will likely stay there again should we return. Mehr

Хороший отель, тихий, спокойный. Рядом с метро gern, недалеко от олимпийского парка. До музея бвм 40 минут неспешным шагом. Был там в день своего рождения, коллектив отеля написали открытку от руки и подписались, мелочь, а приятно.

Hotel e living assolutamente gradevole in un quartiere residenziale tranquillo e silenzioso. Appartamentino molto carino, luminoso, arieggiato e con tutti i confort. Metro a 5 minuti, supermercato e ristorante accanto all'hotel. Personale della reception garbato e disponibile.

Jag och min man stannade en natt på detta hotell då vi var på väg till Venedig med bil. Det var rent och fräscht och man fick gratis kaffe (gott!) i receptionen. Standarden är densamma som på Derag Hotel Henriette i Berlin förutom att det inte fanns någon utrustning i miniköket (inga bestick och bara ett ölglas) - nu stannade vi bara en natt så det […] gjorde inget för vår del. Receptionisten var väldigt hjälpsam med karta och tunnelbaneinfo. För genomresa är detta hotel helt ok men om jag hade velat stanna några dagar för att upptäcka staden hade jag valt ett mer centralt hotell. Mehr

Me encantó el hotel. Muy cómodo para familias. Tiene el supermercado en la puerta. Ideal para vivir München como un residente. Zona nada turística pero a 4 paradas de metro de la Hauptbahnhof. Ideal para alquilar bicis y conocer München.

Oktoberfest目的でミュンヘンに滞在中に利用。 この時期はどこのホテルも高いが、タイミングが良かったのか、それにしては割と安かった。あくまで「割と」。 ミュンヘンの中央駅からは4駅、徒歩5分程度なので利便性は十分。それでいて周辺は閑静でおちつける。 部屋は広く綺麗、清潔でベッドも大きいしスタッフも親切だった。 冷蔵庫があり、この時は水とBecksビールが2本ずつサービスされていた。 やはりバスタブやひげそり、歯ブラシなどは無いが、ヨーロッパだからか。 廊下は金色できらきらしていて派手に映る。 朝食のバフェは、味は並以上だが種類が少ない割りには高いと感じた。 しかし向かいにスーパーがあり、早くから開いているようなのでいざとなればそこでパンを買って朝食にすることが出来るだろう。  […] 滞在中は慣れなくてちょっととまどうこともあったが、しかし気分良く過ごすことができた。 Mehr

Small pentry for cooking, but not a single plate, not even knife, fork and spoon. Very expensive to use the Internet, 4 € an hour. Complimentary beer and mineral water in the fridge at arrival, and I got new ones each day - Great service. Calm and quiet surroundings, close to tram and subway.
