Disgusting and horrible. Sheets stained with holes. One blanket belonged on dog bed. Hole in tub repaired with duct tape. Still using toilet seat with opening in front.NO ELEVATOR.Dirty carpet in foyer.Laminate flooring buckeling in entry.Discarded brown leather couch with duct tape sitting outside next to side entry. Upon arrival the clerk was very friendly and and he checked us in quickly. However upon arriving in my room, the smell was awful! It smelled as if it had been used as a smoking room, that they were calling "non-smoking". I always carry disinfectant spray so I sprayed it and thought maybe it was because the air condition was not on and the room was really […] stuffy. I was getting ready for bed and a roach climbed across the nightstand on my arm. I was ready to blow a gasket but my sister ("Miss Mercy") begged me to just go to bed because we had to be up in five hours after driving four to get there. So I reluctantly went to bed. Upon getting ready to take a shower after my cat nap I opened the shower curtain to find the bathtub nasty!!! It had something that looked like blood and several long hairs. We gathered our things and I calmly went to check and and I told the morning clerk of my experience and her only comment was "oh no really? Well I will have to check on that". Not even an apology!!! This hotel is affordable, clean, quiet with friendly staff

I had booked 2 rooms ahead when I checked at 4:30pm there 1 of our room was not ready yet, room was so messy, smelly, I came out ask for another room but the front desk lady made me feel uncomfortable. She was not friendly and welcome the costumers. I had to make it hard enough for me to have a clean room and 2 queen beds what I did request when I booked […] ahead. The hair dryer didn't work at all. Day Inn was smell mold from the hallway to inside of the room. Over all, it was not a good motel even for 1 star. Mehr

The room that me and my family stayed in was a mess. First when we walked in the the room is was dark and not the clean feeling. My 2year old son had a diaper bag full of ants in his pampers and everything. I woke up the next morning with 2 ants on my face and 2 ant bites. we checked into the room on the first floor on our three night stay and the hotel had no air conditioning to it we had to transfer to another room, in that room it had a mildew odor smell to it will never come back again.

friendly and directed me to a nearby restaurant I could walk to...I ate lunch and dinner and the food was excellent and restaurant was across parking lot from Days Inn.

Overall for an older Hotel, this Days Inn was well kept and organized. The Rooms were cozy, and had plenty of ammenites. The continental breakfast was not great. They could have served some meat and eggs with the breakfast, but with waffles, dry cereal, stale muffins and small danishes. Overall, it was an average stay for the 3 nights I stayed there. […] I would stay there again, but i recommend if your traveling with family, stay somewhere with a much better economy for a little more price. Bad location for sleeping, loud music all weekend and restaurant alarms going off out front at 3 am requireing the local PD to come and disarm. I was told this happens nearly every weekend by the staff I visited in my PJ's! Floors were buckled and had holes cut in, refridgerator did not function ( the staff said, thanks for telling us ) but did nothing […] to repair or help us out, key cards didn't work for our full stay ending up with us locked out of our hotel and room for awhile ( not fun with small children and our belongings on the inside! ), lightbulbs did not work, beds had metal brackets sticking out which bruised and cut legs, guessing the frame was meant for a larger mattress? Painful! Breakfast was decent, but the staff didn't keep the area clean and stocked as they should. Didn't expect the ritz, but didn't expect what we got : ( Mehr

This hotel was below the standards I expected. There is no elevator and I had to carry my luggage up to the second floor. The staff was some what helpful but overall I would never stay again, especially for the price.

The hotel is OK for the money paid just for a single night. The main reason is for the location that we looked for as well the cost. Front desk staff was courteous even when it was a past mid-night check-in. Actually hesitant to book this hotel when looked for the reviews posted; however, many of those negative issues were not encountered by us.

It might not be the Ritz Carlton but for the price you can't beat it. The TV worked, the shower was great and most importantly, the room was clean. For this price I can even overlook the fact that the bath towels were the size of wash cloths. I would definitely stay there again.

the location of this hotel is not the bad and surrounded by the stores,restaurants you will need.Very convenient,but it is a 45min drive from Houston International Airport and 35 min drive from Hobby Airport.

Was not impressed with the overall apperance of the hotel. The lobby floor is very uneven, there were cracks on the walls both in the hallways and in both rooms I got. The "nonsmoking" rooms smelled heavily of smoke. Also saw cockroaches in the hall and in our rooms, they got into my baby's food. Also I reserved two rooms for two nights, they put my […] in-laws on a different floor and said that they couldn't do anything about it. Our room was connected to the next room by a two way door, and the room was empty our first night and the secound night, a bunch of loud kids stay up ALL night. The breakfast was also terrible. I was very satisfied with this hotel for the price.

The hotel was not the cleanest, but was suitable for leaving luggage and dog there while I spent time in Stafford and Sugarland. I had a busy few days there, but it was the cheapest hotel, and I knew I wouldn't be spending much time there. My dog enjoyed the tv channels, AC, and chair in room. My dog napped alot on king bed, so I am assuming she found […] it very comfy ;) I am sure it wasn't the most horrible place to stay, but I got what I paid for. I was looking for a cheap place where my dog could be comfortable while I was busy going to non-dog friendly places. Mehr

The hotel was about what you would expect for the price. The place wasn't dirty, but looked well-worn. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and helped my rating of the hotel.

I had to try the bathroom light switch at least five times before the light would come on (not good in an emergency). The floor had at least two huge dips.

I've stayed in worse places and paid more. Despite the minor inconveniences, the hallway floors were creaky, the Wi-Fi sucked, and the keycards, which i was told were just a bad batch, de-activated everyday after or around 12, We would stay here again.

Hotel smelled, cleanliness was lacking, staff tried to put me in smoking when non smoking was specifically requested, and non smoking room was available. Access cards had to be reset several times (each day) during stay. Appeared to have questionable things going on in several rooms. Room was fairly comfortable and clean. Did not see any roaches or […] bugs, so that was a plus. Overall stay was bearable but disappointing. Mehr

Long check-in,two behind counter, did everything twice. The room was clean but had a lot of small problems. The door would not lock unless you pushed it hard, the refrigerator didn't work, the TV remote didn't work,the shower wouldn't stay in place. There was soft places in the floor like the wood was rotten. It was clean and quite, breakfast was slim […] pickings. Look around, a lot of other places in this area beats this place for the same money. Mehr

My room was great, no problems there at all. The only problem was that they tried to book my room twice. I had double locked it, so they person couldn't get in, but I had to call the front desk and let them know that someone was trying to get in my room. The good news is they resolved it quickly and I had an otherwise peaceful stay!

It was a ok hotel for what I paid for. Located right off the freeway. I have stayed twice in this hotel & each only one night & continued to my destination the following morning. Hotel does need maintence floors are squeaky doors are hard to close. I found the beds to be very uncomfortable. Good price but room was something to be desired. Had tv in our room but it didn't work. Slipped in lobby on water in floor horrible experience!

so this hotel we stayed at for 5 nights. first they had my 2 children listed as pets, and charged me in extra fee for each child(even though i paid for a room with 2 double beds). first fail. then the decorative headboard fell off the wall and nearly decapitated my husband and son, but they were kind enough to write on my receipt that we informed them […] that it fell so they wouldn't charge me for damage. second fail. then, they never came to fix it. it leaned against the wall for 3 days with the 3 itty bitty nails that had been holding it on still sticking out. third fail. every day they called to ask if we were staying on even though i paid in advance for the 5 nights. fourth fail. and lastly, every time we left the room, our room cards deactivated and we had to go back to the office to get them fixed. that said, it wasn't all terrible, they had waffles shaped like texas for breakfast.:) Mehr

My air conditioner went out and it was 100F outside so I came to Days Inn Stafford because of price and it was close to home. Turns out the rooms were very nice and well maintained as well as comfortable. They are about a 200' from a major freeway with lots of places to eat and shop nearby.

Usually stay here because my friend's hotel is always booked and never had problems until this last stay.smoke alarms went off every morning around 4am. DO NOT get rm 208. None of the locks worked not even the bathroom lock. The room smelled like smoke when its suppose to be non smoking.

The hotel room was clean, however the toilet did not have enough pressure to even flush the tissue paper and the "continental breakfast" had a roach in the pastries. There was no elevators or swimming pool. I guess you get what you pay for.

Though the staff was very friendly and responsive, the hotel room housekeeping was less than adequate. They forgot to clean our room one day and we found unknown long hairs on one of the 2 beds. In general even though it was close to what our destinations and we have stayed in Days Inn's before the conditions were not the worst but mediocre. But again […] the employees were very nice and responsive to our findings. Mehr

Great value for the price. Very comfortable, the only flaw is the place needs some maintenance.

We chose this hotel for the low price, so we can't complain too much, but the sheets felt dirty, the carpet felt dirty. Next time we'll spend a little more for a higher quality hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at the Days inn with the exception of 3 things; 1. A live big roach in the bathroom 2. No postage stamps at the front desk 3. Woulkd have been nice if we had had a table and chair in roo . This is really not a review bur a FYI.

I complained about AC in the room is not working and front desk told me " previous custumer did not complained Sir, I will send maintenance when they get here" but nobody came. Too many bedbugs, i informed the frontdesk and told me to take all the linens off the bed so they can change it which they did but i still noticed a lot of if it the follpwng […] day. Some front desk personnel has a very poor customer service. Mehr

I would have to suggest checking the locks on the doors. Mine would not lock completely until the door was pulled partially open in order to align the lock with the frame. Also, everytime the person next to me was walking, the doors on the closet would rattle, sounded like someone was walking around my room.

Older hotel but clean. Employees friendly and helpful. Room has microwave and minifridge. Price very reasonable for what you get.

I had a roach in my room, a spider in my bed, no elevator in the hotel, no alarm clock, no phone, no mirror in the room besides the bathroom, I came back to find my door ajar after they had replenished very stiff towels and not latched the door. The carpet was spotted and disgusting, water sprayed from the wall when taking a shower, the towel rack fell […] off the wall...the list goes on and on and on...we left early to keep from staying longer even though we had already paid. Seriously, DONT GO HERE...I DON'T CARE HOW LITTLE THEY CHARGE!!!!!!! Mehr

I was satisfied with what I received for my money. The hotel is in need of an upgrade, but I believe they are working on it. Staff was accomodating.
