Als Vorübernachtung für eine Kreuzfahrt völlig o.K. zumal das Hotel den kostenlosen Busshuttle stellt. Falls man zu Fuß Richtung Las Olaz Blv. geht, sollte man schon darauf achten, wer in der Umgebung rumläuft ( im Dunkeln besser mit dem Taxi fahren), da einige Obdachlose rumhängen.Aber das ist ja in Deutschland auch nicht anders. Frühstück für amerikanische Verhältnisse o. K.

Stilgemäßes Art-Deco-Hotel für einen Aufenthalt mitten drin in Miami Beach. Sehr schönes Ambiente in der Lobby. Zwar ist das Personal viel Kommen und Gehen von Gästen gewöhnt, trotzdem noch positive, freundliche Routine.

In dieser Preiskategorie sicher eines der besten Hotels. Saubere und moderne Zimmer. Gutes Frühstück, sehr nettes Personal. Einzig negativ ist die Poolanlage. Mobiliar verbraucht und lädt nicht zum planschen ein. Pool ist auch sehr klein. Habe keine Gäste gesehen die sich dort aufgehalten haben. Aber ansonst sehr zu empfehlen da in kurzer entfernung(3min. Fußweg) Supermärkte, Restaurants und andere Geschäfte vorhanden. Von 6 Hotels in dieser Preisklasse die wir in Florida besuchtt haben, eindeutig das beste Hotel.

Hervorragende Lage ein Block vom Ocean Drive und dem wunderbaren Strand entfernt. Äußerst freundlicher Service. Die Standardzimmer sind klein aber sehr zweckmäßig und nett im Art Deco Stil eingerichtet. Das Hotel verfügt über einen Pool auf der Dachterrasse. Es werden kostenlos Liegen und Handtücher am Strand zur Verfügung gestellt. Sehr zu empfehlen für Gäste die direkt in der Nähe des Art Deco Viertels übernachten möchten.

Lido Grill- Diese Bar am Pool bietet einen Blick auf die Bucht und ist täglich zum Mittag- und Abendessen geöffnet.
Lido Bar– In dieser gemütlichen Lobbybar werden vom späten Nachmittag bis in die Nacht Cocktail-Spezialitäten, Wein und Bier angeboten.
Im Standard Spa stehen unter anderem Innen- und Außenbäder im türkischen Stil, ein Hamam mit vier Badewannen, ein Dampfbad mit Aromaölen, eine kalte Regendusche und eine Zedernsauna kostenlos zur Verfügung.Es werden Holistik- und Hydrotherapie-Spa- und Schönheitsbehandlungen angeboten (Aufpreis).
Im Fitnessraum stehen Laufbänder, Gewichte und Krafttrainingsgeräte zur Verfügung.Außerdem werden folgende Fitnesskurse gegen Aufpreis angeboten: Yoga zum Sonnenuntergang, Kickboxen, Tai-Chi und moderner Tanz.
Ein beeindruckend großer Pool mit Spa und Wasserfall, ein Kaltwasserbecken und eine Matschgrube im Freiren (Aufpreis, Kleidung optional) mit Blick auf die Bucht von Biscayne.An den hoteleigenen Anlegern am Hafen können Kajaks gemietet werden.
Die weißen Sandstrände des Atlantic sind eine Meile (1,6 km) entfernt. Wassersportgeräte, wie zum Beispiel Jet-Skis und Schirme zum Gleitschirmfliegen, stehen dort zur Verfügung.

Charming grounds, very friendly staff & good service. Cool clientele. It's a little removed from south beach, renting a car is recommended. Need a JD or music at the pool!
It really was not a comfortable room and we were very disappointed. Would NOT stay there again under any circumstances. Sorry!

"A South Beach Change of pace"
The Standard is a different sort of South Beach experience. It is on the Bay side of the island and a bit further away from most of the SoBe amenities. Giving each other Salt scrubs in the "spa scrub room". All of the other spa possibilities are too numberous to detail. The rooms are clean but small. However, the spa facilities, gym, pool, and Lido restaurant make The Standard one you should consider. Especially if you want an experience different from the typical hotel on Ocean or Collins. Mehr
"Heaven"
The Standard Spa in Miami is probably my most favourite place on earth. It's a peaceful little haven but it's only a short walk away from the buzz of the main strip. The spa is lovely as is the food and grill restaurant over looking the bay. Don't miss it.

My daughter and I stayed at this oasis in the city. Luxurious and simply casual at the same time. Nothing within walking distance, so you have to take taxis, which didn't seam to be readlily available. There is only valet parking, no self-park. "The Standard - very relaxing! But..."
Overall the hotel was nice. For service,The 4pm check in time turned into 5:30pm. The mini bar attendant helped himself into the room while my wife was in the shower. The valet is $37 per night and extremely slow. The service charge, taxes and fees charged by hotels.com seemed excessive. I need to start watching that from now on.
I had to wait 2 hours to check-in because the computers weren't working.

A nice hotel and gardens but too far to walk to town . No parking only valet.. The beautiful spa and treatments , yoga make up for the small and ikea like rooms I would not stay there again but would visit the spa!

There is one hotel in Miami. The Standard Spa Miami Beach... It is really not good hotel. I haven't seen like this hotel.This hotel is so expensive but it isn't reasonable price. It is very small room, dark and old. There is no spot to put our carriers and bathroom is really sucks. Too small and old. It didn't flush well on the sink. There are everything […] make us want to touch anything that's why so dirty and old. If I can give the hotel rating to 0 point, I would like to give 0 or minors point. It is really not same as the picture as web-site. Don't be fooled by the web site. They said that they have some bicycle but we asked it at the hotel when we arrived, they told us just they have 2 bicycle but it in to the repair. The high price tag belies the simplicity of the set-up at The Standard Hotel in Miami. We love standard hotel and they have stepped up there game with new management . The service is spot on in a very urban manner and understand what NYC clients needs. Off the ocean and colins , it is bliss by the pool.

We had a great visit at the Standard. The amenities make up for the very small room. The pools and outdoor areas are beautiful. The spa services are great too. The staff is not extremely attentive, but I felt that that might be a the general vibe in Miami.

This is a place you go to enjoy the spa and lounge around. The food is mediocre, the service is mediocre and the whole experience was just a tad better than mediocre. "The Standard Miami: Hidden Fees and Poor Service"
Had to wait 10-15 minutes to check in as the front desk associate was having a personal conversation with another associate. Not informed of extra fees associated with hotel. When checking out the associate charged extra for spa and resort use when I didn't use any. He explained I was told about this when I checked in, I was not. He claimed to be a […] manager but then said I would have to wait to talk to the other manager that was coming in about an hour later. Very poor service at the hotel and my room had a vibration sound all night, a tv with very poor reception and slow wirelesss connection. Definitely would not reccomend this and does not live up to the Standard Hotels reputation of being a great place to stay. Mehr

Rooms were small and not as luxurious as I expected. Bathroom sink nice but too small, no space to put your personal items. However, execellent spa and pool area! Nice couple retreat.

This is not a hotel, it's a swingers club. The Wet Rooms with the soaking tubs have no privacy at all and are misrepresented on their website. The gym is run down and many machines do not work. The furniture is tattered and falling apart. I woke up one morning to find used prophylactics dotting the sidewalk in front of my room. This is a great place to have romance with your significant other. The crowd is very anything but "standard". Service and food is typical subpar Miami.........what can you expect when an automatic 15% is tagged to everything? There is no incentive to work hard here. Pool area wonderful Dinner; the waitress brought two courses together, so i asked them to keep my main course warm while I ate my appetizer. Main course was returned stone cold. Paid extra for a room with the sun area, useless dont bother. Air-conditioning was louder than Harley at idle and mosquitos in the room biting at night. Hence zero sleep. On […] check out there was issue with the invoice no one available to check and rectify, the manager called later that day and agreed that i had been charged $150 of someone else's food and drink.
