Country Inn & Suites Mesa - Mesa

This is just what you would expect from a Country Inn and Suites. It is nice, nothing fancy, but very functional and clean. I wasn't looking for resort treatment with my stay, but the staff was very helpful and it was a nice hotel. It was close to the business, I had in Mesa and they did their job.

Great location BUT wouldn't stay again. Air Conditioner so loud we couldn't use it, except just on fan. Banging and clanging as it recycled cold air. Room deteriorating. We were placed in handicap room and the wall rails were literally hanging off the wall. The hotel badly needs upgrading. The food was inedible. Pretend eggs, stale rolls, just not good […] even for continental breakfast:( Expensive rates for what we got. Mehr

Location is excellent, many places to shop very close from groceries to malls. Easy access to major driving routes. Check in was quick, front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable with daily housekeeping. Breakfast was not as great as the ratings before us sounded. We've had better at a Residence Inn. There is one person […] running the kitchen, dishes, and the dining room. The 1st 3 days the young man had a hard time keeping up. The last day, a different lady ran it much smoother. Food was good. Residence in offers small meals/snacks almost every evening. Here, light snacks were offered only one night out of 4, and not until 8 pm. The pool was nice a warm, quiet, music was nice. We entered our room and it was very warm, so put the A/C on and sweated through the night. We had to open the window, which allowed street noises in, but the cooler air was welcomed. I understand this kind of thing happens....it was the response from the front clerk that upset me even more. She told me I should have opened the window and then that we […] should have called for maintence. We checked in late and just wanted to sleep...my point was this should have been checked/taken care of before we checked into our $*** hotel room. We definately did not get $*** a night treatment! We had an early morning flight and was told at check in that breakfast would not be available, but water, coffee, fruit and bars would be and to ask the front clerk to get these out if not already. She made a HUGE deal about that and said only after she finished her work would she do this for us. I will not be staying here again. Mehr

the food was cold wasn't kept warm at all, kind of disapointed about that cause the reviews were great about the food one reason we stayed there. Thanks Dean

The hotel was amazing, I thought the beds were too soft, and the headboards banged against the wall everytime you rolled over. Other than that it was a great hotel, would definately book again.

I reserved the room a long time ago and requested a room over the pool, but received a room overlooking the parking lot. I stayed there three nights and thought you would have appreciated my patronage enough to grant my request, but you did not.

we stayed at this hotel with about 7 other families. all being my relatives. we wanted to surprise my grandfather for his 80th birthday. country inn and suites did an wonderful job with supporting our every need in this event. as far as using the bbq and utilizing the eating room. all employes were very friendly and helpful. id recommend this hotel […] to many others. I wasn't sure about this hotel - a word of warning: you have to search a little carefully on Superstition Springs to actually see the hotel as there's not a sign listed in the area that it's in. Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised to see how nice it generally was. The rooms were not as big as Embassy Suites but you're not paying as much either - but […] they're more than adequate with a fridge and microwave and good sized bathroom. There's actually very good storage to unpack clothes - nice change and I know this sounds silly but the a/c works VERY well - a must in the Phoenix heat! The decor is a little dated but the rooms are comfortable, the breakfast adequate & the hotel is conveniently located near a very nice mall, resturants and highway 60. Hope this helps... Mehr

The continental breakfast was better than any I’ve had in a similar level of hotel. Very surprised to see that. Unfortunately the wifi was pretty much unusable because it was so slow. I tried it with my laptop and iPad just to verify that it was really the internet connection and not something on my system. The other problem I had was after an hour […] of running my AC was squealing like a bad alternator belt. It was midnight by the time I figured out what it was and did not ask for a new room. Most likely an isolated incident but thought it was worth noting. Mehr

except for the bars around the hotel it was great but at night you got the noises that go with bars. Not the hotels fault but louder till 3 am. Breakfast was great, house keeping wonderful and great front end staff.

This hotel was up to par in terms of cleanliness, service, good location, right next to a number of restaurants. It had the biggest free continental breakfast I'd ever seen offered, and even a bedtime snack that included several different food selections. Teenage son loved all the free food:)

Even though we didn't get the room that was reserved originally, the staff did what they could to make us comfortable. The pool was very refreshing and the continental breakfast was filling!

The hotel is awesome. Clean, friendly and helpfull employees, a wonderful breakfast, and close to shopping. I would never book with Hotel.com again as they did not pass on my request for an assessable room although they put it on my print out receipt. I highly recommend the hotel.

Excellent Location. Overall very satisfied. Would recomment to anyone traveling in Mesa. Close and convinient to Phoenix Gateway Airport.

This hotel has a wonderful complimentary breakfast each morning as well as complimentary snacks in the evening. The Business Center is convenient and private. Very satisfied.
