The hotel was well situated. The staff were friendly. 24hr room service available. All that was missing was a bath

Staff were very friendly and provided excellent customer service.The room was clean and acceptable.The main reason i stayed here was the price per night. I was visiting stratford and all the other hotels were much more expensive. If you are looking for an economy price hotel in London this is worth considering.

Reception entry and room was quite okie but there were lots of disturbances during night. There were 2 unnecessary knocks on door during the night.

This hotel is fine for a quick overnight stop, but nothing more. It is clean, but basic. The beds & rooms are functional rather than comfortable; but it does a job & serves a purpose. Location is handy for A13/A2/M25, with secure parking included. Quick mention to the staff, who are very helpful & attentive. The hotel itself ticks all the boxes as far as a comfortable night away is concerned, its a typical Ibis. The main different between this Ibis and others around the country is the size of the room and the layout design, which is more compact (London I'm afraid). As for the surrounding area there is a nice park opposite Highbridge Road but again, it's […] the East end of London so you know what to expect! The room was clean and the bathroom was in an innovate pod design with a nice shower and facilities. The bed was very comfortable and the linen appeared to have been freshly washed. The only let down was the food served at the bar/restaurant, I had the beer battered cod and chips, which from what I know about hotel catering had either been frozen then fried or microwaved, as the batter on the fish was not fresh. It took a fair amount of time to come too which whilst wasn't disappointing was noticeable. As far as improvements go, metal spoons in the room instead of plastic would be nice and maybe a small pack of biscuits? Little touches like that go along way to making you feel at home in your room, at the end of the day there are hundreds of B&Bs out there that do that in their own home for less money per night. We experienced problems with keycards for our hotel room, the door to the room would not open on 4 sperate occasions, and the hotel staff were not very helpful, mainly because nobody could speak proper English! This meant we were late arriving at our event. Also, it needs to be made clear that the hotel is situated a long way out of the centre of London. […] Not only is it a 45-minute tube ride but we were quoted on one occasion for £80 for a taxi! My hotel room is a little too expensive without provision of a breakfast and a refrigerator in the room. I was also expecting a bigger room and a bigger bed for a family of 3.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights with my 10 yr old grandson. The room was small but adequate for our needs. The shower excelent. the beds clean and comfortable. My grandson loved the breakfasts... The only fault I could find was the long tube journey from the city.

The hotel is literally off the north circular so very convenient and amazingly although I had a room facing the road, it was very quiet. However, the staff were very average, my airconditioning unit rattled which would have been really annoying if it had been too cold to turn it on or off and the food was appalling. Don't bother with breakfast and […] if you need to eat at night, head up to Oishi Sushi in Barking which is pretty much the only decent place to eat nearby. Mehr

We stayed here with my girl friend on new years eve after we got back from central london. Checked at around 2am without any problems. Was driving so they provide parking with a small charge for the duration of your stay. The room was not the biggest but was very clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and the overall décor was great. The only […] downside was probably the noise levels coming from other rooms and corridors. It seemed like people were partying but this was kind of expected due to it being new years eve. Overall I would go here again and would recommend for a night or two Mehr

If your on foot good luck getting in and out of this hotel I could not get the swipe card to open the barrier, and had to get someone out the 1st night back or press the buzzer loads of times to get some attention. Its a strange way to get into the place not very good. And beware you have to pay to park the car in their car park! £3 a day thats a ripoff […] I didnt see that coming dont park outside the place there was car glass all over the place so it doesnt look very safe to do that. Its a walk to the nearest tube and not a pleasant one coming back late. Bedding was a bit grey and the breakfast was ok. You get what it says on the tin. Cheap digs. Mehr

A very friendly experience following the very poor previous night at a competitor's chain. The staff were courteous, helpful and professional. Whilst you know what you are going to get with a chain like Ibis, it was still refreshing that the staff cared enough about my stay to make it a goog one.

It was everything you would expect from an Ibis: basic but clean and friendly staff. The food leaves a lot to be desired and wouldn't recommend eating there but due to the location there isn't too much choice close by. It was only a five minutes in a taxi from the nearest tube stop and less than twenty minutes from London City airport - fine for a […] one night stop-over before flying. Mehr

Small, clean and friendly hotel, but some way off the city center. Only negative i have to say about it would be it's location and the minimal options for breakfast. Scrambled eggs, beans, bacon and sausage, cereal, ham, cheese and some jam being the other option for breakfast. It's a all you can eat buffet though. Other than that it was a comfortable […] stay. Dit Hotel is niet slecht maar het Hotel ernaast (Premiere Inn) biedt meer waar voor je geld. Het enige dat beter is is airco op de kamer maar deze werkte niet goed waardoor we er weinig aan hadden. In Premiere inn is kamer groter, bed beter, badkamer beter, meer Televiesiezenders, beter ontbijt, gratis parkeren, etc voor minder geld. Helaas was premiere […] inn vol dus hadden we geen keus voor dit weekend. Volgende keer boek ik eerder zodat ik zeker in Premiere Inn kan overnachten. Mehr

Veldig greit hotell i Barking, fredelig strøk. Reiste med bane inn til byen hver dag. Fint med restaurant i vestibylen og eget bad på rommet. Hjelpsom betjening.

Hotel Ibis Barking. To stjernet hotel, men burde være tre stjernet. Beliggenheden er dog dårlig. Der er langt ind til London.

Helt greit hotel med fine rom,litt hard seng. noe trafikkstøy.

Helt greit hotell. Standaren var bedre enn forventet, prismessig veldig billig. Det var rent og pent, hyggelig bemanning og helt grei mat. Eneste negativ bemerkning var dårlig og dyrt internetttilbud. Dog litt lang reisetid til London sentrum - beliggenheten er bra.
