Would recommend this hotel, Receptionist during my night check in were friendly, efficient and made you feel welcome!

This the fourth or fifth time I've stayed here. Twice before I've had to change rooms because of the worn out mattress.This time I got in at 10 pm and didn't take the time to complain to the manager to get my room changed. Plus, the TV reception was terrible. I'll stay somewhere else next time.

Spacious, comfortable room, great breakfast with good choices and good service overall. Great location - right off the freeway but not easy to get to as the road to it is not clearly marked. We had to drive thru the 7 Eleven and a couple of resturant parking lots before we go to the parking lot for the hotel. first night's room was really loud with highway noise..no rooms are protected from the highway noise, second room had the worst mattress I have ever slept on. it was the last open room for a reason. the last room was what I expected from a cheaper version of a hyatt

This was the second year that we have stayed here, and it was great. The staff was great, the room was clean. Location was awesome, just blocks from Garden of the Gods. Plenty of places to eat near by. We plan on staying again next spring break.

Had a very enjoyable stay of two nights here. As a young woman traveling alone, I was appreciative that the staff selected a room for me on the first floor near the lobby without my asking. Only negatives were some late night noise from a high school group, and Sunday's breakfast entree was the leftover version of Saturday's. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was perfect!

There was hair in both of the beds. We were moved to another room and the thermostat was broken causing the room to be extremely hot even though the temp was set at 58 degrees. We asked for a wake up call for 6am. At 6:40am someone knocked on our door and asked if we were awake. When I asked the employee why we didn't get a call at 6am, she stated that […] she tried but the phone didn't work. Not sure why she waited until 6:40 to come and knock on our door. Then got home to find that the hotel charged my debit card $140 for incidentals. We used nothing in the room or hotel, shouldn't have been charged ANYTHING! We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Hotel was clean and room was nicely equipped. Only thing we were kind of bummed out about was that there wasn't a hot tub on premises. Other than that it was a great experience!

This is the best hotel we stayed on our 4 day trip from Illinois to Arizona. Staffs are friendly. Their breakfast is very good. Rooms is designed like a suite, though a bit old. You get nice view of the mountain. Overall I would recommend this hotel everyone who is visiting colorado spring.

We had a wonderful stay. Everyone at the hotel from the moment we checked in until we left, was warm and wonderful. My little boy got sick while there, (not the hotels fault) but something he ate and when I asked for help to clean up the mess, housekeeping was up within 2 minutes. She then left to get some clean linens and returned with clean sheets, […] towels, and some noodle soup for my son. I was so touched by the kind gesture, she went beyond her duty. Thank you. Pretty good hotel would definitely stay here again.

When I made my reservation, I understood I was getting a room with two queens,{ is on website}. I checked in, went to the room to find two regular beds. The front desk said they do not have queen beds, only regular and a few "king" beds. The second night we requested a king and were able to transfer rooms. Staff was friendly--breakfast tasty. Very easy, self check in went very fast and easy, self check out very easy. comfy, good place to crash for the night. enjoyed.

It was very comfortable, location was great, restaurants nearby, easy freeway access and centrally located for getting to surrounding sites as well as back to Denver.

clean mini suites sitting right next to the main freeway and therefore close to just about everything. ask for a room on the west side - away from the freeway drone. beds linens are top-rate but you better like your mattress extra firm. bathrooms tiny. pool is outdoors, but we enjoyed it during a late-Sept stay. free breakfast is pretty good, esp the […] fresh fruit. but no eggs. Good location, clean, comfortable, breakfast was different. A variety of breat, fruits, cerial not the usual. Probably the most surprizing issue was lack of drawer space. Great view of Pike's Peak from the back side.

Very nice hotel. Close to Garden of the Gods and easy access to Colorado Sky Sox Security Field. Only issue I had was with air conditioner. Made a humming noise that was bothersome. Whacked the unit a couple times and it quit. Otherwise, everything was first class. I would recommend the stay to anyone.

The location was great and the staff was friendly but the overall appearance of the hotel was dirty. The hairdryer didn't work and the replacement hairdryer didn't work either. The rooms were large but the floor plan was awkward. The rooms aren't as nice as they look in the photos. The beds were very comfortable.

Excellent location to all the sites in Colorado Springs. Clean safe quality environment close to many restaurant choices and shopping. Staff and overall experience was remarkable.

Rooms look 25yrs old with some recent refurb partially done. Cracked bathroom tiles, old built in furniture with newer pieces added. Left a not clean feeling. Finding a beetle hidding under a pillow didn't help. It was not a bed bug. Service is okay with slightly worse than normal room service. i had to toss fruit on a plate that had obviously started […] to rot yet was served to me. Check in and check out was fast. I would have switched to hilton over staying another night. minor dollars more is worth the difference. Facility is off the freeway with stores in front. Good for convienent over night, and most business hotels i've stayed in are better kept or newer. Not recommended for anyone expecting it to look like the pictures. Mehr

Very nice- modern- grt Breakfast and Bar area- Staff fantastic!! Expensive but if you like Quality- this is the place-!! Huge flat screen in room!

Perfect trip - great room - great bed - good fast breakfast - close to Olympic training center - hotel staff were always smiling and eager to please you. Our 12 year loved the pool, 24 hour snack availability and quick fast breakfast. He didn't want to leave. Our accommodations were very comfortable, staff was very helpful, room and hotel were clean, Continental breakfast was most satisfying. We stayed here for two nights while taking the kids to C. Springs sights - North Pole, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, etc. For using as home base for sleeping, swimming (outdoor pool), it was fine. Room was clean - did not have a problem with "hotel" noise, but from I-25 traffic; we live near a busy street and I didn't think noise would bother me, but I had […] to close the window and turn on the AC. The bathroom was small; only toilet and tub in very small room (no towel bars), sink and vanity were in the living area. This made changing for the family with older kids a bit of a challenge - plus, everyone had to listen/watch everyone else brush teeth, dry hair, etc. Just a tiny little closet - we basically hung up just jackets. The room did have a small refrigerator which was nice for keeping juices, etc. cold. Also, a BIG television. Breakfast was basic - best to stay with cereal, english muffins and individual yogurts. It was a big draw for all the guests - it was very crowded every morning, and even though they were working hard, staff couldn't keep up with getting fresh items out. Staff was polite and helpful - they placed us in room next to group we were traveling with, and provided written driving instructions twice. Mehr

NIce hotel, within walking distance to several restaurants.

The hotel was a little outdated compared to where we are used to staying, but it had everything. The 'credits' from hotels.com got us nice free special order breakfasts. Restaurants within walking distance. Staff very helpful in directing us to our nearby appointments at the Cog Railway and Garden of the Gods. We wanted ice cream one night and it was […] available. All staff was very welcoming and friendly. Room was clean, our only issue was that our room faced the highway and we heard quite a bit traffic noise. A pleasant stay overall.

Hotel is right next to busy freeway and not insulated from noise. Management had no rooms at the back of the hotel because a lot of people complain about the noise and request a room at the back. Room is large and has a nice TV. Bathroom is a bit small. The room seemed a little worn and had an odd smell. The hotel service was poor. They have just […] one person at the front desk who also works the snack bar counter and the snack bar counter seemed to be a higher priority. This hotel does have have the quality I would expect from a Hyatt. It seemed more like a Holiday Inn in every aspect except room size. I was very disappointed. Very UNPLEASANT!! The room they put us in had an awful SMELL!! Could not immediately identify it. We went out to dinner leaving the A/C on thinking it might clear up. When we returned it had made matters worse. At this time I went to front desk and asked both employees behind the counter to please come to our room to confirm this smell. Both said they […] did not NEED to visit our room nor would they send someone to check it out. All we wanted was to be moved. We stayed in it and didn't sleep at all. We had just driven for 11 hours and had another 5 hrs. coming the next day. During the night I got up to open the door. When my feet touched to carpet next to the bed, my feet got wet. The carpet was soaked!. I quickly discovered that the bathroom shower drain was poorly installed and leaked water thru the wall and onto the carpet by the bed. In the morning I took many pic's of this area and could see the stains left from previous times. We then knew what the smell was 'MOLD AND ROT'. I have pic's of 'BLACK MOLD'. Mehr

The hotel was pretty nice, everything was very clean except for the bathtub. It was stained and dirty looking. Pool was nice.

The room was amazing! The bed was very comfortable as well as the couch and the price was very affordable for the comfort level. The staff was very helpful, the only disappointment was the starbucks coffee was not up to par, i couldn't drink it it was that bad and i'm not very picky, put they did refund without any questions asked!

All the staff were very friendly and cheerful. Always had a smile and a warm greeting for the guests.

The hotel was very nice, our room was much nicer than expected. The only problem was that our bed was extremely uncomfortable. I had read similar reviews before going about the beds but didn't think much of it, i should have listened to those people! The last night of our stay, my husband chose to stay on the pull out couch instead of the bed... that's […] really saying something. Also, there was no dresser in the room which was frustrating when you are there for more than a night or two. Just three little drawers by the sink that didn't hold much. And it's a little hard to get to from Garden of the God's road, there is no light that is easily accessible and many u-turns are needed which gets frustrating after a while. There was a snow storm while we were there which made getting in and out even more difficult. Even with all that being said, I would still recommend this hotel, the staff was extremely courteous and the hotel was very well maintained... you just have to be ready for the bed situation. Mehr

We travel to Colorado Springs often from the Denver area and occasionally need to stay there. I have other preferential hotels, some closer to downtown, if my business stay requires that. However, Hyatt Place is very close to my daughter's home and thought we would try it. Excellent rate; of course it was Christmas Eve.
