Hotel Ariston - Mestre

The hotel is quite OK actually. Personnel is kind and helpful and have good knowledge of English, which helps because it is not easy to find an English speaking person out on the streets. 25 minutes drive to Venice from the hotel, but there is a direct connection bus every half hour, and the bus stop is 30 meters from the hotel. If you have an early […] flight out of Venice though, I'd suggest you look for a hotel in the center of Mestre or better yet in Venice. In general, if U need to be at the airport before 7am, look elsewhere, because you WILL have to go to Venice for the "Aerobus" and at that time. I say this because a taxi to Marco Polo airport will cost 80EUR and up, which beats the point in staying in Hotel Ariston ;) Mehr

Nothing but room is included, very small rooms, noisy, no air conditioned, mosquitoes, poor light in bathroom, does not worth it for the money.

The thing we didn't like about the hotel was that the bathroom smelled badly but we got used to it, the thing that was intolerable was NO AirConditioning at night time! It makes it really hard to sleep in the heat. thing we enjoyed was hotel is close to the bus stop that takes you to venice. It was about a 25min ride there but a lil bit longer on the […] way back. This hotel is busy and ok. Front desk very helpful. The bus stop to Venice is right there, 20 minutes ride. The town of Mestre has a very nice old piazza, worth a visit. Good food at local Trattoria, right under the hotel.

This hotel may very well be the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. The room was dirty the hotel is old and the service was a joke! The shower was a hole in the bathroom tile with a shower curtin that was falling off of its hanger, which as soon as you turned on the water (which had no water pressure) immediatly stuck to you and then proceeded not […] do do anything which allowed the whole bathroom floor to flood. The bathroom was so small that the toilet lid could not be raised all the way up without hitting the wall and then falling back down on your back (gross!) We went in October and it was still hot and humid, but the manager told us that there was no AC, but that we could open the window, which we did, and then upon waking the following morning discovered that not only ourselves but also our two children were completely covered in mosquito bites! We of course complained and was told by management that it was to cold for mosquitos and we didn't know what we were talking about. This hotel is also far from everything except a self service laundry mat, which charges 9 euros for 1 small load of laundry, wash only no dryer. Do not stay here! Stay any where else!!! Mehr

For a European hotel, this was very nice. The hotel is older and a little run down, but clean and cute. Every room has a nice balcony, and we were fortunate enough to be on the top floor and get a humongous rooftop terrace. The bus line (#2) to the Piazzale Roma on Venezia Island stops right in front of the hotel. There were many bars and restaurants […] down the street, only 10 minutes walking. We drove and it was convenient to have a lot of parking and it was right off the autrostrada, easy to find. There is a cafe/snack shop attached to the hotel which was very convenient to grab cheap sandwiches and drinks for our road trip. We plan on staying there again next time we go, since we will be driving again. Mehr

The hotel was Very hot and only Ran the AC (July) 4 hours during the evening. Our room faced the sunrise so immediately became hot (33 C). Very small rooms. OK if you are alone or a couple but not good if you are with kids.

The hotel overall was very nice, small and friendly, staff very friendly, all of them spoke English. Very convenient to go to Venice, bus stop a few yards away. You can get your tickets at the desk also. Would go back.

Very small, dirty and way to far from Venice. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, friend or foe.

Accoglienza e rispetto della prenotazione ottimi. Posizionamento dell'albergo ottimo. Fermata autobus per Venezia e per il centro di Mestre davanti l'albergo. Centro commerciale a soli 2km. Qualità/Prezzo molto buona. L'albergo è nel complesso di qualità discreta, le camere sono un po piccole. Consiglierei comunque l'albergo per chi non ha grandi aspettative […] alloggiative. For en natt i nærheten av Venezia var dette hotellet helt perfekt. Fine rom, og bussen inn til Venezia gikk rett utenfor døren. Hotellet ligger også på veien ut til Treviso, dersom man lander med fly der. Greit når man kjører bil.

Det här hotellet måste hörsammat klagomålen om renlighet, för vi hade inget att anmäka på den under vår vistelse, luftkonditioneringen fungerade bra, det var ändå nästan 40 grader varmt när vi besökte venedig. Smidigt att ta bussen från hotellet till Venedig. Vi hittade en parkering på gatan utanför där man kunde stå kostnadsfritt.

The staff was arrogant and rude and the rooms were small and decorated in a confusining style mix. I would say that for the price this hotel is not worth it. Do yourself a favour and fins something else.
