The Florida Hotel and Conference Center - Orlando

Wir waren für 2 Nächte in diesem Hotel, waren zum erholen in Orlando, etwas shoppen, aber nicht um in Freizeitparks zu gehen. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und groß, das Bad war sauber und auch der Fitnessraum war groß und es waren viele Geräte zur Auswahl frei. In die Mall kann man direkt hinter der Rezeption laufen. Parken ist vor der Tür umsonst. […] Das einzige, was mich gestört hat ist, dass ich nach meinem Aufenthalt 2x vom Hotel angeschrieben wurde um bei Tripadisor eine Bewertung abzugeben. Das ist zu aufdringlich und gehört sich nicht! Dafür gibt es auch einen Punkt Abzug! Mehr

Sehr gute Lage zum Shopping, da das Hotel in der Florida Mall ist. Auch zum Flughafen ist es nur ein Katzensprung (ca. 10-15 Min.). Die Zimmer sind nicht mehr ganz frisch (etwas älter), aber trotzdem sehr angenehm.

Sauberes Hotel, sehr bemühtes Personal, schönes Zimmer. Allerdings war das Bad nicht besonders schön, nur eine kleine Badewanne.

Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Liegt unmittelbar mit einer Mall verbunden - ein El Dorado für Shopper! Kann ich weiterempfehlen.

Das Hotel-Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren sauber, geräumig und mit TV (keine deutschen TV-Sender), Telefon und Kaffemaschine ausgestattet. Das reichhaltige amerikanische Frühstücksbuffet war toll. Die Empfangshalle ist mit einem grossen Einkaufszentrum (Florida Mall) sowie mit einem Starbucks coffe verbunden. Freier Internetzugang […] ist vorhanden. Das Hotel liegt etwas ausserhalb. Die verschiedenen Parks und Outlets in Orlando waren mit dem Mietauto in 15 - 30 Minuten zu erreichen. Mehr

The front of the hotel and lobby were very clean and impressive. We ate and drank at the bar/restaurant and Starbucks in the hotel lobby. Both were excellent with no complaints. The mall is beautiful and convenient, with an entrance from the hotel lobby. It's like a typical mall with Macy's and all of the other stores you would expect. Parking was not […] a problem. It was mall parking, full, but always a few spaces available. The room was nice, but poorly cleaned. There was hair in the tub and in the "clean" towels. There is no shampoo or conditioner in little bottles. It comes from a dispenser in the shower, which seems less sanitary. The TV remote had some unknown substance all over between the buttons. The room was not completely dirty, but we would have appreciated better attention to cleaning, especially in the bathroom. Shampoo/conditioner/soap in small bottles would be nice, even if only by request. The beds were too small. They were full. Queen or king would be much better. Mehr

Hotel was very clean and quiet. Lets right out into the Florida Mall. Five minutes from airport. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms. My family and I had a great experience staying at the Florida Hotel and Conference Center. We plan to always stay here when we visit Orlando.

this hotel was clean, comfortable, and convenient. i ordered room service twice and the food was delivered very quickly and was very hot. the staff was friendly and responsive.

Florida Hotel and Conference Center - Located off a very nice mall, close to Orlando Airport They were very friendly, nice rooms and close to allot of restaurants.

in few words , everything was perfect and would do again

The hotel was beautiful and the location is awesome; you walk right out of the hotel into the Florida Mall; however, the beds were very uncomfortable.

Great place to stay if you want to shop

Only stayed one night. Room was comfortable and clean. The mall was right there, so it was a great place to do some shopping before the next leg of our trip. I will stay there again.

Love this place! Staff is so friendly and helpful! I stay here every time I come to that area of Orlando for work! I was so bummed that I'm going to that area again at the end of the month and was unable to get a room. I guess the word is out about how great they are!

Can' t beat the location, and the breakfast buffet is awesome and a great deal, especially for a hotel. The pool is very clean, so was the room. The shower pressure in the bathroom was AWFUL. Otherwise, a great deal. Next trip I would prefer to stay on I-drive even if it costs a bit more.

Had a great stay at this hotel, would like to come back in 2012. Facilities great, loved the pool and enjoyed shopping at the attached mall. All the staff were very helpful. We were sad when we had to leave. We did not drive but the concierge ordered cabs for us when needed to get to the theme parks.We have no hesitation on giving this hotel five s […] tars. Mehr

The surrounding area is less than desirable but the hotel is located inside a good mall (plenty of designer stores). The hotel is very big, clean, and well staffed to take care of your requests. There's a bar, Starbucks, restaurant and sundries shop that are owned by the hotel. Also the mall is just a few steps away. Was worried that the hotel would not live up to it's reputation but was so happy with everything!

I suppose it would be a good idea to Step Up Security !!. While we were there, there were a few parties and drunk people in hallways. But the scariest part was the robbery in room accross the hall from us. My grandkids were scared after we opened the door and found several police and sheriff officers asking my grandkids (ages 16 and 13) to go back into […] the room or they would be "searched".... Looks nice on the outside, located right in the Florida Mall. Our room had a moldy ice bucket, low flow shower heads, brown water that came out of the pipes, and an $11/day "resort" fee. Recommend the airport Marriott instead. Surrounding area is not family friendly.

One night stay when arriving at orlando airport and then driving next day to Sarasota. Only complaint was very little power in the shower.

Room was not ready at appointed check in time, had to wait 2 hours. Room smelled like it had just been fumigated. When I booked this reservation there was no mention of additonal resort fees.

Located right at the Florida Mall, you don't even need to go outside to get shopping. We went to Universal Studios and Milennia Mall, all about 13 minutes away, very convenient. Eventhough the lobby was being remodeled, it still had a feeling of elegance and charm. The Starbucks located right in the lobby was great, and the Melrose Restaurant was delicious.... The […] room was spacious, the bed very confortable, though a little too firm for me to label it perfect, and the refrigerator in the room was an added plus! I travel to Orlando monthly and usually stay at the Florida Hotel and Conference Center. They always deliver personalized service and quality from check-in to the cleanliness of the room to the personal greeting received from Valet to check in to front line manager. The Starbucks in the lobby has the same quality service and they remember my order each […] time I visit. They just opened a new Bistro restaurant which I visited during the soft opening. Try the lobster wrap with guacamole! It was excellent. The gym is state of the art, large and clean. The fact that the hotel is connected to a large mall is also a mojor plus. Mehr

clean rooms very , nice employees, would recommend this hotel again only thing is no inside pool i think that this would be a good idea for some who do not like to go outside.

The only bad aspect of this hotel is an $11.00 service charge not paid upon paying online. This fee covers 2 bottles of water, coffee mess items as well as internet. However, the housekeeping didn't replace the items after the first night and I had to ask the front desk 4 times before they gave me new items. Unfortunately, I was charged and had to argue […] about getting the fee removed. Mehr

I come to Orlando at least once a month to work at the Florida Mall. This hotel is always a pleasure and a convenience to stay at.

I wish I knew the pool was down.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, however, there was a little dirt or something on the tile of the bathroom. Just bring some mildew spray or your own cleaner. Everything else receives 5 stars.

my family and i stayed here for 3 nights and we were very pleased with the hotel and with the room. it was clean and so was the restroom. i'm a big germ freak and i didn't feel disgusted staying there (( compared to staying at the value disney resort where it felt dirty)). i would most def stay here again...the only downside that we encounterd was that […] it was about 15mins from disney and after being at the park all day made us wish the hotel would have been closer. but other than that we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to friends. Great hotel, convenient location to parks and shopping malls and restaurants.

The hotel was great. Liked most was it was near a mall

I was upset to receive an additional tax of $12.00 upon arrival. My rate with hotel.com was fair, yet the hotel added on their on own tax. If I had known this, I would not have chosen this hotel.

Once we arrived at the hotel, we had to wait for valet service. I travel with my elderly mother who is disabled. She had decided she wanted something to eat (room service is one of my requests when traveling), I called roomservice and the phone was never answered after 20 rings, this happend 2x's at different times. Had to wait for valet at least 15 […] minutes when returning to the hotel. If the employees are that busy then it is time to hire more people. Mehr

I scheduled a night at this hotel on a whim - turned out to be an interesting choice. The hotel is not at the listed address - it is attached to The Florida Mall and is not immediately off any public street. Valet parking was not consistently attended - valets double as bell hops, so it was not easy to get someone immediately to attend to your vehicle. […] Desk staff helped by contacting the valets when needed. Room was nicely furnished (though the leather sofa was not appealing). Housekeeping had not cleaned under the bed, nor dusted recently, but the bed was comfortable and the linens sparkling white. Nice flat-screen TV with a variety of channels available. In-room refrigerator was above average. Bottled water and excellent instant coffee provided. Spent 4 hours working at the desk - nice! Bathroom was very clean but tub did not drain properly. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel were provided in a dispenser in the shower - very unusual, but products seemed to be high-quality. Direct access to the mall - great stores and lots of restaurants, but the hotel itself had a 'grab-and-go' convience store and a cafe-style restaurant & bar. Pizza was available for room delivery until 1AM. Would definitely return again - if there were any problems with housekeeping in the room the next time, would contact the desk to address them asap. Follow up from the hotel management to my comments card leads me to believe things would be resolved quickly. Mehr

Kids LOVED being in the mall. The front desk, housekeeping and roomservice staff was all great !

Great Hotel, attached to the Florida Mall, very convient. Would stay again if going on another shopping trip.
