Very nice rooms. Exceeded expectations. Breakfast solid. Coffee ok. Not a perfect location but a perfectly good one for a great deal.

This hotel is in desperate need of an update. The room's appliances are incredibly old fashioned, including the box tv that came in fuzzy and the manual alarm clock. Definately no frills here- don't expect a key card, either. The 20lb. room key and singular (and very slow moving) elevator are reminicent of a dungeon- no doubt there was an ogre "heave-hoing" […] us up and down the floors. As for the breakfast they provide from 7am to 10am, be there at no later than 7:15am- I made the mistake of arriving at 8:50am and was left with a yogurt and one hard boiled egg. All in all there are some things that need updating but not bad for a last minute, cheap place to rest your head. Mehr

Older hotel but very well managed and maintained. Surprisingly quiet and we were on the freeway side. Old carpeting but eveything spotless, all the gadgets/stuff worked. Fridge/micro/coffee maker there w/o having to ask. Room smallish. In @ 2 out @work by noon nice. This is an older hotel. The best part of the hotel is that it was fairly quiet. The restaurant is terrible. It's Indian food at night and the breakfast is very crude. If you want out of the fray and a little quiet (if you can find that in Milpitas) then consider this place. Else, go find a main chain. Good breakfast

I have stayed her a few times now and every time it just gets a little bit better. The first time they were still working on the breakfast area and this time it was staffed with employees who were glad to grab something for you. I stayed this motel two nights, I like it. This motel is near high way but I'm so surprised that it is very quiet. the room is very clean, the bed is very comfortable and the breakfast is very good. it is not expensive.

We found this to be a great place for us. The pool was fun for all and the staff was so nice and helpful when we asked to be moved to a room with a balcony. Carpets were a bit stained but everything else was comfy, clean and breakfast was very good and had a great variety for us all. Close to Great America which was bonus for our drive so we could stay […] late for The Haunt and get up early and go back the next day for more fun. We would go back! Mehr

The beds are very comfortable. I like that there are microwaves and a fridge in the room. The serve breakfast in morning that is pretty good. The room was clean, only complaint was that the people that stayed above us where very noisy and it sounded like they were in the room with us and that it was a nonsmoking room and the room did smell like smo […] ke. Good price. Great for anyone. I was there on business and it worked great for me. Close to freeways to go in the direction you need. Close to food. Older hotel but fixed up nice. Would stay here again.

Great hotel, good location, great staff and yumm breakfasts!

Overall a good hotel for business trips. Comfortable, good location, clean, free internet and very helpful staff. Breakfast is not bad, especially the fresh doughnuts which are naughty but very nice!

Nice, clean, quiet room. Very comfortable bed. Hotel staff was pleasant. There were ammenities such as pool, spa, and workout room. Restaurant and lounge on site. Computer work station in the lobby.

This room was nice it had 2 great double beds and nice linens. The bathroom was updated with nice tile and granite counter tops. It was close to the freeway so there was some noise but not bad at night when the traffice was lighter. Would definately stay here again when I visit my grandson. Its better than expected for a hotel in the price range. There were some unsightly stains on the floor. The drawers for cloths were kinda broken you had to shove them hard to go in. There was a hole in the wall that was poorly patched. Overlooking all that the room was spacious as well as the bathroom. Perhaps the entire square footage is about double […] any economy hotel. Excellent Value for the price, convenient, nice and friendly hotel staff. Recommend asking for a balcony as it is a nice feature of the hotel to relax with a glass of wine looking at the sunset over the mountains.

The only thing I didn't like about the stay, and this is a part of the times we live in, I didn't like having to use our towels and washclothes over. I like, and use fresh towels and washclothes each night at my house, and want it that way when I travel.

Granted, I did bring my dog to this "Pet Friendly" venue, but my room had an inch-sized hole in the wall, at peep-hole height. Someone had plugged it with tissue. The rug also had a gigantic, dark stain, approximately three feet across. I reported the hole, and the clerk offered to move me to a new room the next day. Sorry, if anyone was peeping, this […] was a lame offer. I think I was in a handicapped room, and the auto-sensor lights blinked red and green, and freaked out my dog in the middle of the night. I have to admit, the bed and bedding were quite nice, and very comfortable. Everything else was clean. The "free breakfast" was from the Old South, minus the grits: heavy on saturated fat, and did not deliver on the Starbuck's coffee advertised. I ended up with a white bagel (yuck!) with cream cheese. This was actually one of the lightest options. The second day, I skipped the breakfast, and walked across the street for a decent latte. The "regular" rate would have been way to high for this room. Location: While not in downtown San Jose, 237 / 880 is a very good location, the two freeways will get you whereever you want to go, fast. Plus, it's a lot safer than downtown San Jose. Cleanliness: Although the hotel is quite old, there are no concerns here. Everything was good. Comfort: The king bed was...well, really big for one person. However, […] I didn't like their blanket. It was too thin. While it does a decent job in keeping me warm, I'm someone who loves to hug their blanket, so this was unfortunately inadequate. Service: front desk folks may not always be there, but if you ring the bell they will usually come out of a back room somewhere. The service staff are quite friendly, and will take your request on specific times to clean the room, which I thought was a great plus. Food: This hotel actually has an amazing restaurant! It's even highly rated on Yelp. Their lunch Indian buffet was quite delicious, and the breakfast actually had a few hot items. It is also close to plenty of 4+star Yelp rated restaurants (mostly of the multicultural variety), so food is definitely not an issue. Misc: There is no elevators, so either request a first floor room or beware of luggage. Mehr

for us the hotel was convenient to our destination of the HP Pavillion, it's close to freeways, and we found a giant mall closeby as well. there was some noise from nearby rooms during the first 2 nights, but we are beginning to think there are just some hotel guests that have no consideration for others. this is not the fault of the hotel, it is simply […] the "me me me" attitude of some. the biggest drawback was no elevator to upper floors. we had a 4 day convention, lots of luggage for those days, and we are in our 60's, we tried to convince ourselves we needed the workout. The people: friendly and helpful managers, respectful and friendly cleaning staff. The location: far away from most points of interest. having a car is a must in order to get around. with a car, it's great because the highway is literally a 2 min drive away. The neighborhood: nothing to note here. it's not the classiest neighborhood, but I felt safe […] and comfortable there. The room: clean and comfortable, with a minifridge, microwave, coffee maker, TV/DVD player, phone, alarm clock, iron and ironing board, hair dryer... pretty much everything you would ever need in a hotel. =) I had a pretty small room though, and they had stuffed it with two queen size beds, so that didn't leave much room for moving around. Excellent location and value for price. Door access cards did not work 2 days out of 5 and no apology from front line staff. Soap and paper cups did not replenish unless asked repeatly. Decent buffet style breakfast but not enough staff to handle food services during peak weekend mornings. Air conditioning is a bit complicated to control.

Breakfast was included but it was awful. On-site Restaurant not open on Sunday.

The staff was friendly and helpful. If you get a room facing the freeway you better bring some ear plugs. The gym was small and full of cigarette smoke.

I moved from Toronto to San Jose, and needed to stay somewhere before finding a place. This place was perfect. Really close to highways so I could easily get to places. The management was good, the room was clean, the bath was clean. It wasn't a problem for me but the internet is only wired, I had a wireless router myself so I got around it, but prepared! […] The front desk staff were very friendly. Breakfast was nice, waffles, donuts, cereal, tea and coffee, pretty standard, nothing spectacular but it was nice. Overall a nice place to stay, definitely would stay there again. Mehr

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfortable. The grounds were nice. Very pet-friendly. The only downside was the neighborhood-seemed a liitle questionable. The carpets in the room could use a cleaning.

Very limited parking in the lot, and a large, very mossy, smelly, in need of a good cleaning fountain was in the parking lot. Very friendly staff, and the lobby area and breakfast area was very nice. Breakfast was awesome! Hot breakfast with lots of items, and excellent Starbucks Coffee and Hot chocolate machine there. The room was decently decorated, […] with amazingly comfortable beds. The AC unit smelled like dirty socks, but we were able to open a window (ground floor). Only problem with that was the noisy freeway right outside our window. We enjoyed staying in this hotel. The staff were friendly, the hotel was clean, the breakfast was great however you need to get up and have your breakfast early otherwise once they ran out, they won't put more some of the food. The room is clean and we like the door to go out to parking lot directly from room, that makes it easy to load and unload your […] stuff to the car. The fitness room is convenient, but the spa room did not work at the time we were there. Mehr

rudest service I have ever experienced. Terrible neighborhood too.

ビジネスで５泊しました。車がないとどこへも行けませんね。 備え付けのリンスはあったがシャンプーが無かったのでガッカリ。部屋の作りは汚くないものの古い印象。コインランドリーもなし。朝食はブッフェだが、ベーコンや目玉焼きは無い。フルーツも缶詰が少しだけ。少し期待はずれでした。

乾淨、價格合理。位在高速公路旁，非常方便但又不會吵雜。非常快速的無線網路，早餐在美國一般的Inn來説算是相當不錯。週邊機能佳，可以吃到中式料理。

The motel is conveniently located and is within short driving distance to other bay areas cities around San Jose.The motel is a bit old yet the breakfast is good.
